Cellphone Mobile Suit Gundam

Japanese title: 携快電話13 機動戦士ガンダム特別パッケージ版 and 携快電話14 機動戦士ガンダム

Background:
In the year of 2006 the Japanese company Sourcenext released
two series of software for cellphones and personal computers named Cellphone 13 Mobile Suit Gundam and
Cellphone 14 Mobile Suit Gundam.

This software was made for different platforms and is not only an organizer for data, no it features
little games involving the cast of First Gundam.
In the standard version you have Amuro as its main character, whereas in the Special Package editions the
protagonist is Char. Bright Noah and Ramba Ral are available as well as seen in 14.

Sound effects with famous quotes are also included, which is quite funny! Furthermore, a little
chronology of the Universal Century is present too.

Speaking of the software itself, you have special skins for your folders and screen display.
It is also possible to connect your cellphone with your computer to view images and other media.

The mecha listing is compiled from all six titles released.

This adds another couple of elements to the Belphagor that we didn't know before. It has a pair of standard beam sabers stored in its side armor, and the atomic scissors on the knees have heat blades inside them.

Also, as a random note, Ishigaki notes that the head was modeled on Go Nagai's Devilman.

after a forced hiatus i am back with a large couple of contributions for you.

But before i start submitting the various entries i am thanking you AmuroNT1 for providing these nice tidbit of the Belaphor!

Gundam Shop Vol. 1

Japanese title: ガンダムショップ VOL.1

Background:
This software is a reference guide to all Gunpla products manufactured and released
from Bandai. It covers the years 1980 up to 1985.

I don´t know if you want pictures of the respective models since i intended to publish them
in the future in my planned merchandise related contributions.

Two final notes for you:
this software was made for Windows and Macintosh to reach as much buyers as possible.
Another tidbit is that this software was already produced in 1996 according to
the respective covers.

Model Course Guide Gundam - Zeta Gundam

Background:
This software works as an assembling and building guide for
the Master Grade release of the RX-78-2 Gundam in 1995 and the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam in 1996.

I am speculating that title was released also in 1996, but i found no evidence
to proof it.

One last note: this software works on both platforms, since it is a hybrid CD ROM.

This first "Typing-game" released by the company of E-Frontier.
The game deals only with First Gundam.
For playing you can choose between three modes: "Easy", "Normal" and "Newtype".

Morever to play successfull you must enter commands via your keyboard.

Background:
This CD-ROM is a database for the organization and equipment of
the entire miliary forces of the Principality of Zeon.

Unfortunately i have no complete mecha listing, but i know that Mark owns
this CD-ROM, maybe he can provide a more stuff.

This series itself seems to ignore some facts provided in MSV books if i am not wrong
and therefore it features contradictions.

One famous i know is the Chimaira Corps where its composed of one
"standard" Zanzibar class and one Musai. Moreover the picture i am referring to
shows that the Ace Corps consisted not only of 31 Gelgoogs there are also two
MS-06R-1 units.

Gundam Network Operation

Background:
This is the original GNO MMORPG.

For playing you first choose you favorite affilation. After this you can
create an own characters with a biography. Finishing this you can start in a situation
where ever you want on Earth. Much later you can go to space if you collected enough
experience points.

In contrast to UCGO later you can pilot a MS immediately if you want. Piloting support vehicles
is also possible. But speaking further of MS you can customize the color to your personal desires.

November 9th, U.C. 0079: The One Year War rages and one Magellan class is a little bit out of the line:

New advanced Corporal Bamba wants to know why the captain of the Magellan class Harem Nocturne
does not wear pants every time. His name is Madlock and he is a volunteer. This is also the
reason why he don´t follow military orders. Bamba is not satisfied and begins a discussion of
standards and behaviour in front of the men.

Background: this manga was first published in 1988 in Bandai´s CyberComix anthology
series. Later it was reprinted in Gundam Generation #1. It is more a gag manga set in the OYW
instead of the regular serious issues of this conflict.
The title is a clear reference to "Space Battleship Yamato", also the ship captain is a mock of Captain
Harlock (not only for his name, Madlock, but also for his hair-style; furthermore, in the first
page of the manga he holds a fishbone near the face, thus "simulating" the characteristic
face scar of the famous space pirate! Even more, his underwear have a very Matsumoto-style pirate symbol).

Background:
With the start of the Mobile Suit Gundam - The Origin manga in Kadokawa´s Gundam Ace, Bandai´s own
subsidary for garage kits made a few and very well-made
releases directly corresponding with Yas´ artwork.
They include five 1/144 scale mobile suits, plus the "Portrait of Origin" a series of six non-scale
character figures.

Now in 2011 where The Origin is nearing its conclusion it seems possible that the
interest in these is re-awakening, but so far there is no sign of it.

Notes:
The first MS-06 units seen in the manga (i.e those reproduced
by the B-Club garage kit) are characterized by an asymetrical
chest armor, with a vulcan gun on the right side, plus a left
forearm mounted double machine gun. Later on, we see two more
Zaku II models: one still retaining the chest vulcan, but with
regularly symmetrical chest armor and no forearm machine gun,
and another one, again with symmetrical chest armor, but no
vulcans at all. We are prone to assume (but we have no sound proof of this so far!)
that the first variant (featuring at least in volumes 1-2, 4, 14, 16, 18-20) is
intended to be the MS-06F (it's the most "advanced" type, it's used both on
Earth and in space, and it's not seen in the first stages of the War), the
second one (seen at least in volumes 3-5, 7-8, 16, 18) is perhaps
the MS-06J (it is used only on ground environments), whereas we
think that the third one (appeared at elast in volumes 2, 6-8, 13-14, 16, 20-21)
can be identified as the MS-06C (it is said to be a old model, and indeed
its design is the simplest; furthermore, it was used also in the earlies
stages of the conflict).

Universal Century 0084:
Axis, the last base of the former Principality of Zeon
is helding a ceremony to honor Mineva Lao Zabi, which is raised
by Haman Karn after the death of her mother.

Some time later Char is leaving Axis on board of a Salamis to Granada. Lt. Apolly (in a federal uniform)
helps him to get a new identity: Quatro Bagina. Suddenly a MS-06F Zaku II appears. The pilot
is the original Ple and Char duels her with a Gelgoog High Mobility Type.

He defeats her,
but while Char is going to Luna Haman tells Mineva about the Earth´s gravity that is pulling down
the soul of men...

Background:
This manga was only published in Bandai´s MS SAGA No. 2 of 1993.
The artist Kenji Mizuhara is also a doujin artist. Furthermore this manga is the
first who deals with Char´s relationship with Haman during his time on Axis. In 2001
Hiroyuki Kitazume began his CDA manga basing on this early work.

The answer is one imprisoned Zeon soldier. He accepts and he is astonished
about the capabilities of this MS developed by Tem Ray.
As the performance is concluded later the Zeon soldier commits suicide...

This manga starring Team Ray was first published

Story:
At A Baoa Qu the last battle of the war is fought. In midst of the
chaos two EFF MS, the Gundam Unit 4 & 5 are fighting
against two refitted Bigros.

Background:
This short novel was published in Bandai´s SD Club anthology #9 of 1990.
For further interest this story is based on a statement seen in the MSV RX-78-1 manual that
the units RX-78-4 and RX-78-5 were assigned to the Pegasus class ship Thoroughbred.
I found it rather strange that this novel doesn´t feature an appearence of the ship.

Now a new mobile suit designated as RX-098 to fool the EFF is built and after the tests

Well, there's chance that Chris might hate me for my annoying persistance of submitting these dojinshi :mrgreen:

. But since Meaningless Wars doesn't get removed from new Gundam mecha menu and Jadzi at Gundam Wiki just provide cleaner scan of them, I decide that it's worth a shot to submit linearts from Nostalgic Fiction Gundam: Beast again :mrgreen:

. I combine all four books into single pile, since it's more practical.

This short photo-novel was first published in the Gakken's
Animedia Extra Issue Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Complete Edition of March 1986 to provide
more background data of the Earth Federation Forces before the establishment of the Titans.

Two months later it was reprinted for the last time in Hobby Japan's
HOW TO BUILD GUNDAM 3 Z GUNDAM book.
