Oh, I knew the site had/has a 7th Fight section, I was just submitting stuff because right now it's a little sparse.

Also, I think this manga was written by Koichi Tokita, since Yamato Gundam, along with Geminass 01 from G-Unit, appear in the Dark History in Tokita's Turn A Gundam adaptation (and those are the only non-anime MS to appear in the DH). I'd need to do more research to confirm, but I know that Kunio Okawara did the mecha designs.

Anyway, a bit more information on some of the Gundams...

Is it just me, or do these 7th Fight MS look like a mid-way developmental stage between Military Mobile Suits and the full-blown martial arts suits of the 13th Gundam Fight? I mean, these guys have (somewhat) practical weapons - like bazookas and beam cannons - in addition to fencing sabers and knuckle dusters and early graviton hammers. I think it's just an interesting philosophy. Going hand in hand with that, Chapman's Britain Gundam or whatever it was called slightly harkened back to military days with its massive beam sniper rifle, and that suit had been used for about twenty years by the time the 13th fight started.

That's pretty much the official story of the Gundam Fight. Everyone did their own thing for a while, but when Chapman won three in a row with sniper skills, the nations began shifting towards long-range combat. But then Master Asia came along and beat him, and close-range martial combat had a resurgance, which puts us at the start of the 13th Fight. One can only presume the complete dominance of martial fighters in the 13th means that the 14th (which IIRC was written about in a manga called, and I kid you not, "G Gundam: The Next Generation") was heavy on melee too.

No it's definetly Mosque モスクガンダム the モスク part is used for mosque you can view this in the japaense wiki article for mosque while Moscow is モスクワ again viewable in the Japanese wiki.

I'm not sure exactly how much of the 14th fight this G Gundam comic bon bon is about though, the only mecha I see listed are a Hyper God Gundam, Tenlow Gundam and Black Gundam all are part of Neo Japan. I think the story is more about choosing Domon's succesor then the fight itself.

Great scott, Marty! Reviving this topic after almost two years because I have new scans and info, the former provided by Kunio Okawara's Gundam Design Works artbook.

BTW, I'd like to note that the aforementioned book gives this manga's title as Mobile Fighter Sidestory Gundam Fight 7th (Kidou Butou Gaiden Gundam Fight 7th, or in Japanese 機動武闘外伝ガンダムファイト7th). This is apparently the actual name for the manga.

Anyway, onto formalized details. Everything in this series is designed by Kunio Okawara, so I'll forgo individual credits. Also, since I don't know how Chris will want to handle the Japanese words in the names of non-Asian fighters' ultimate attacks, I'll include both the original as well as an English translation. Finally, I got the lineart, but I was very lazy with it because I stink at cleanup. Hopefully someone better than I can fix it.
