There are plenty of scans where a suit is a solid color like green, but this doesn't mean that's the real color scheme.

As one can see in the original O Gundam article here and here, all the uncolored line art used is filled in orange against a purple background. Unless it's mentioned in the text of the article, or O Gundam somehow makes it into a G-Generation game, I doubt there will ever be an official color scheme for it.
