I bumped into these images earlier today (credit Anavel), and their quality was good enough to use... ^.^

It's so much more fun when you actually have decent scans to work with, so I give you:

AMX-011S Zaku III Custom

- Edge preserving smooth, scanner patterns removed.
- Resample (resize, Smart [bi-linear?]).
- Sharpen.

AMX-014 Doven Wolf
AMX-015 Geymark

- Edge preserving smooth, scanner patterns removed.
- Focus, Halo, ect. (Say cheese!)
- Resample (resize, Smart [bi-linear?]).
- Sharpen.

Hopefully these can replace the ones that are currently in use...

One thing that particularly stood out to me was how the lines on the black sections of the Doven Wolf are purple, it makes it so much easier to see, which is awesome.

When/If you use them, please don't resample them again or quality will be diminished. (Those should be the right size anyway, right?)

EDIT:
Okay, Chris showed me a screenshot of the Doven Wolf in space, so I shifted the hue of the armour for accuracy.

Does it look like this all the time? Or does it only appear this way in the dark?

I took the same images and redid them

First up is the Doven Wolf from the MAHQ main site
I found it to be dark and many of the lines to be missing or incomplete.

This is my version of the same image
All i did was zoom in to clean the nasty scan textures and then redrew the panel lines to make them crisper/stand out more. I also made the image brighter

Second one is Geymark.

I used Rei's image above because i didnt know what i was thinking ^^;;;

So credit to Rei for doing half of the work for me; scan textures were already cleaned.

My version
All i did here was tweak the brightness to get rid of the "fuzzzy haze" and darkened in the panel lines.

I would have done the Zaku III Custom as well, but she did a very fine job there as it is.

Wow, thank you Karasawa, you made the Geymark look a lot better. ^.^

And your line-work there is really good. So I think we're all cleaned up here - next I have in mind some Advance of Zeta (hi-res source images too), so I'll definately be taking you along for the ride. (if they prove to look better than the ones already on-file)

Concern about size of image, isn't image on MAHQ restrict to 400 x 400 pixel?

We, the big brother type lolicons, are sensitive folk.

No, that's only for profiles that have multiple buttons (MS mode, MA mode, etc). Those all have to be 400 x 400 so they display properly when you click the button. Otherwise, I just usually try to always make the height of all MS lineart 400 pixels.

Besides the eye of your Geymark, Karasawa, it looks good. But the eye is clearly off, it looks like it was added on top of the picture. As for the Doven Wolves, Rei's looks it was drawn on the computer, and Karasawa's looks too much like a Simmons' work to pass as the real deal. They just don't flow with official lineart, to me.

Everything else, however, is kosher.
