Have any of you guys played the Wing Commander games? If so, I'd love to hear you talk about them. Re-watching the re-imagined BSG, I've been noticing a lot of similarities in the way both stories are delivered and handled (with obvious differences in quality, themes, and stuff). The way WC4 was filmed and its uniforms, for example, looks like an unacknowledged inspiration for BSG.

I was listening to some older Gundamn! podcasts and I heard Chris briefly talk about Fushigi Yuugi and Magic Knight Rayearth. Any possible chance of discussing those shows?

The timing for this might not be as urgent right now, but after having seen the trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man, I felt the urge to rewatch Sam Raimi trilogy of Spider-Man movies, so maybe those movies might be an interesting subject of discussion, or in general about comicbook / superhero live action movies.

I assume possibly you may or may not get to discuss the Stargate series?
Also how about X-Files or other SciFi series you guys really like?

Neither of us cares enough anymore about Sonic to bother, and we don't play the Sonic games anymore. Even if you are unwilling to do one on the entire Sonic series what about one just on a specific Sonic game like say the original Sonic The Hedgehog 16-bit version? I ask this as one of the few Sonic fans who is NOT unpleasable

Since you did Back to the Future, some of my most favorite movies EVER, I submit Ghostbusters and its spinoffs to you. Oh and GB is coming back to theaters starting October 13.

I got a video game topic for you guys: The Star Fox series, Nintendo's cult series of 3d flying shoot em ups. I think it would make a good topic and if you do cover it I would love to be a part of that descussion as I have been a huge fan since the N64 days.

I would second this topic idea if it gets selected.

I've been getting interested in Mass Effect recently. I suck at any game that involves shooting, but I'd appreciate an episode on it.

how about an episode dealing with the Pixar movies?
My personal favorite is WALL-E it manages to convey an environmental message WITHOUT being preachy. Suck it, Kawamori! This is how to do an environmental film Right.

The Piers Anthony series that begins with On a Pale Horse (incarnations of immortality series I think)
and his other series Biography of a Space Tyrant

Hey Chris this is just a question to throw out for topic submissions. Do you take Sacred Cow submissions or are those ones you and Pedro always chose?

We don't take cow submissions or generally plan them out far in advance like topics. They come up as whatever happens to be bothering us at the time, so we usually only come up with them a day or two before recording.
