Needless to say, this episode is loaded with our Comic-con experience! BTW, trying to filter the white noise out of some of the panels took a little more time than anticipated, but the sound is decent if the panels we recorded are listened to via speakers as opposed to headphones. No matter how I tried, there we times listening those panels where some of the sounds wreaked havok on my ears.

Much thanks to the listeners during our time there, the people we met, and San Diego for just being so dope. It was a great time and I hope that more of us can do it again next year. Set your calendars for Comic-Con 2009, gang! ^_^

BTW, check www.Gundamn.net for more pics and the blogs we posted while we were out there! Plus, I just recently posted a fanboy-rant about the latest happenings on "Code Geass". Let me know what you think!

Peace, from the west to the east,

Is it a compilation of all the CC Specials? Is there any new stuff? (I only ask 'cause I'm listening to the Intro to Side A and it seems pretty familiar).

Not at all. Days 1-3 are the segs you heard before (with music throughout), but the remaining 7 are brand-spankin'.

Is it just me, or was there a baby there in the audience during the Manga- LIT panel? I'm listening to it right now, and I swear I can hear what sounds like a baby making, well baby noises at times.

I do remember that there was a baby there but I don't think we were very close to it. Goes to show the ability of that little recorder Neo was using to record the panels ^_^

Can't wait for you to hear the jerk that just had to answer his cell phone during the Robotech panel. What a douche.

Actually, I really didn't notice the cell phone, or at least not the conversation (I did hear the ringtone though) as unless someone was speaking really loud, it was hard to hear anyone, especially that lady on the panel who spoke the most. The amount of sound picked up from her was just too low to really tell what was being said most of the time.

I'm also completely skipping the Smallville part as I never watched the show and wouldn't know what people are talking about anyway.

No you have to sit through it like I did. I've seen the show, but promised someone I'd record it for her.

Wow, 279 minutes. This is the first time I've looked at the runtimes and felt intimidated; I'm used to listening to it all in one go, but that's going to have to change for this episode. Is 18 shaping up to be nearly this long? Anyway, it's probably going to be some time before I can comment on this, but it looks to be an interesting listen. Shame that I have to ditch my headphones, though. Can't be helped, I guess.

Not to rain on the parade tho, but whatever happened to making a standard edition of 17?

I couldn't sit through the recording of the Robotech panel. Hearing Tommy Yune(?) talk made me want to punch people.

WOW, I just got back from my internetless vacation to find a four hour podcast. Bravo guys.

***SPOILER ALERT! DON'T READ THE SMALL WRITING UNLESS YOU WERE BRAVE ENOUGH TO READ SOUL BRO'S BLOG ENTRY ABOUT CODE GEASS OR ARE UP TO DATE ON THE SERIES

In response to soul bro's code geass post on the blog, all I have to say is that I'm somewhat relieved. Those who took soul bro's advice and went back to the call in segment of episode 17 will remember me being "absolutely possitive" that Nunnally was a goner. In truth, I wasn't that sure. Being just a little stagefrightend, I took a theory I had and made it seem like I thought it was inevitable. All worked out in the end, however (unless they pull a Lina Ashta from Gundam ZZ...) Best episode of the series so far in my opinion.

Is anyone else creeped out that I'm a little happy about that...
Like all good things, my 318 days in Japan have come to an end. Thank you everyone for such an awesome year!
