After Soul Bro put up a link on the release date thread in the games section I searched through the internet and on game tracker they are saying that Mobile Ops The One Year war is going to be released on Dec 3rd
http://www.gamestracker.com/mobile-ops- ... e-date.htm
And on play.com (UK online retailer) are saying that DW:Gundam 2 is due to be released on Jan 26th
http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/65 ... chsource=0
But if not confirmed by the 25th of this month I'll ask at the London Expo.

Yokohama Museum to Sell Macross Frontier's Tuna Buns
Yet another mecha anime news item related to food.
Remember Ranka-chan's edible boobies?
The ones she offered when she, Sheryl and Alto were trapped inside a shelter?
Well, now you can get them.
From Anime News Network:
Yokohama Daiseikai, the museum for cuisine in the Chinatown district of Yokohama, Japan, will be selling the trademark tuna buns seen in Macross Frontier anime series from October 11 to October 19. In the science-fiction romance story, the budding singer Ranka Lee serves the buns from "The Super Dimension Restaurant Nyan-Nyan" as comic relief in more than one episode. As the name implies, the new menu item is a steamed bun (or two) stuffed with tuna. Each one will cost 500 yen (about US$5) at the third-floor Tin-Shin-En shop and will come with an exclusive sticker.
Only 100 buns will be cooked every day, except for October 13 when 300 will be served; the "Yoko Kanno Presents Macross Frontier Galaxy Tour Final" concert will be held in Yokohama on that day. The museum's Henshin-kan dress rental shop is also presenting Macross props along with its usual Chinese dresses, and a fourth-floor area will be selling limited-edition Macross Frontier goods.
Previously, the Japanese am/pm convenience stores sold official Macross Frontier Cream Puffs, and Pizza Hut sold pizzas in Macross Frontier boxes in Japan. Macross Frontier canned bread is also being sold in the Akihabara otaku shopping district of Tokyo.

You have to consider the context. Macross is a long running franchise with a large fanbase spanning many years. Strike Witches has far less broad appeal. 10,000+ is impressive considering. There's also the fact that this makes it Gonzo's best selling release.

Depends on how it's done. You really have to make it flat out apparent by going [/sarcasm] or something. Otherwise, you just come off as snarky and condesending.V2Buster wrote:the internet sure has killed the ancient art of sarcasm.

This was quite the WTF moment for me.

There are plenty of other sites that offer this at better prices, but this one has the best photos.
The strange thing is that there seems to be no connection with VOTOMS. It's just a fluke.

Okay, more on that Aussie "upcoming program block" I mentioned in my submission about Code Geass' Australian release:
Yes, it is on Sci-Fi (as I predicted). It's called Animax, and will be running Wednesday night and Sunday morning, starting November 5.
Not sure what shows will be on it yet, I'll keep you posted.

Neo,
I'm not too sure if this exactly counts as official news. It's just something that I never realized existed in its entirety. I have only seen a single scene before (the one I am linking), but never knew there was more, and that it had an official title.

That's part 4 to something called Kidou Senshi Nonchan. I can't read Japanese, so I can't tell what is going on when there are parts with dialogue, but the whole project is simply breath-taking! Apparently, this is a work of animation created by a grocer in Japan, but I only know that from the comments. The animation improves drastically with each part, but I don't know much more than what I could see here. I guess information is scarce.
Maybe I should also make note of this down in the Art and Multimedia secition. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.
Enjoy.
