Continuing what I posted ages ago (and actually bringing evidence!), Banpresto announced the full roster of Gundam vs Gundam Next. The game will contain everything from the previous game, including the PSP exclusives (Kai's Guncannon, Kou's GP01, Misha's Kaempfer, and Shinn's Destiny Gundam), as well as a number of new MS. The game is currently in the location testing phase.
-First Gundam gains Akahana's Acguy.
-Zeta gains Quattro's Hyaku-Shiki and Haman's Qubeley.
-ZZ gains Mashmyre's Hamma-Hamma.
-V gains Kathejina's Gedlav.
-G gains Schwarz's Spiegel and Allenby's Nobel.
-Wing gains Duo's Deathscythe Hell, Zechs' Tallgeese, and Milliardo's Epyon.
-Turn A gains Gym's Turn X.
-Seed gains Yzak's Duel Assault Shroud.
-Destiny gains Neo's Akatsuki.
-00 gains Tieria's Virtue/Nadleeh.

Here is some news I found. Its kinda cool, but WTF kinda news so I decided to label it that.
WTF News:
Gurren Lagann, Gintama and Code Geass USBs:
-TWo Japanese internet sites are now offering USB flash drives in the shape of some memorable icons of Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, and Gintama. Biglobe is selling a USB Drive in the shape of the Lancelot's launch key. It will have 2 GBs of space and is officially approved by Taniguchi. There will also be four original wallpapers, an icon, and a book-shaped vanity box. These will range at a price of 9,240 yen (about $83) and will be released in November. Quad Elements will be releasing a Core Drill like USB flash drive looking as it was straight from the show Gurren Lagann. Quad Elements will also be offering USBs in the form of Elizabeth from Gintama. These will be around 1 GB in size and will cost 4,900 yen (or $45).

I don't know if this is official merch and I also don't know if their are any variations on this design but thank you whoever is churning these out.
(I know I'm not specifying what exactly is behind that link but I want you all to feel like I did when I followed this link blindly.)

seaking of Gudam technology
This article talks about how the army is trying to create mind controlled weapons (think bits and funnels), regeneration technology (think Louise regrowing her arm in 00), and computers that act and think like humans (think 00 again), guess where they test the computers... The World of Warcraft

Re: seaking of Gudam technology
Well, using stem cells for regeneration (since they said salamander, I'm almost certain that's what the process is) and remote mind control aren't really new, and CNN showed off a (fake)hologram on Tuesday night (Warning: Presidential election, meaning politics) just hours after that article was posted. To my knowledge, that bit on "virtual humans" is new, though; wonder what the Army hopes to accomplish with that...jroy1117 wrote:This article talks about how the army is trying to create mind controlled weapons (think bits and funnels), regeneration technology (think Louise regrowing her arm in 00), and computers that act and think like humans (think 00 again), guess where they test the computers... Edit: Yeah, that hologram was a fake. When she said "cameras in New York move", I chalked it up to a speaking error where she meant "projectors", but it was actually just a greenscreen. Oops. Still, that was shady of them for not openly saying "this only looks like a hologram to the home audience".
Re: seaking of Gudam technology
virtual data collection maybe. make a computer that talks like a terrorist to gain access to secure site. (just an idea) Also maybe they want future war machines to be able to think like humans. so we don't have 00 automatons killing every living thing.Areku wrote:Well, using stem cells for regeneration (since they said salamander, I'm almost certain that's what the process is) and remote mind control aren't really new, and CNN showed off a (fake)hologram on Tuesday night (Warning: Presidential election, meaning politics) just hours after that article was posted. Okay, a list of the Winter season anime that's been making the rounds (possibly only partial) - I posted this earlier in the anime section:
http://i368.photobucket.com/albums/oo12 ... Anime1.jpg
Only definite mecha show there is Z Mazinger, directed by Imagawa (so I'm looking forward to that). Ride Back and Vipers' Creed might have mecha, but I'm not sure from the descriptions.
EDIT: Chrome Shelled Regios SOUNDS like the title of a mecha anime, but I'm not 100% on that from the description.
