But seriously though, what do you suppose Saji will do in S2? Many suspect that he'll work his way up the CB's chain and end up either as a technician or pilot of 0 Riser.
Unless something completely out of this world happens, I doubt Saji would want to be the pilot of a Gundam, it's just not like him!

Saji shall quit his job as a delivery boy on a colony, and move back down to earth, travell through a dimensional portal and end up in a strange world with lots of pizza hut logo's. (You see where this is going right) He then discovers his royal heritage and then Gundam 00 becomes: Code Geass: Saji of the God Awful Sequel/AU no-one wanted!!! and Soul Bro shall get his pizza loving king. [/bad bad humour]
In the actual show, I think there might be more interaction between Setsuna and Saji, along the lines of.
Saji: "Hey, your that guy who used to live next to me, what's up?"
Setsuna: "I am removing the distortion in the world."
Saji (slightly disturbed by evil vibes): "How's that going for you?"
Setsuna:"GUNDAM!?! WHERE!"
Saji: "I'm going now..." (Walks off to become king)
Setsuna (eyes twitching): Gundam... Gundam... I WILL BECOME GUNDAM!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (begins traditional gundam pilot emo angst stage)

Well well that was an awesome first episode of the second season, with much changes for saji. From slave to prisoner of celestial being whooohooo what an step on his career ladder....
personaly i was supriesed that he was confronted with this so early....leaves the script enought time to change of him
But with this the posibility of him becoming a fighter for celestial being is very high.
Think about it in the past gundam series there have always been five "native" gundams or gundam hereos even though they were not always on the same side.
with nadaleeh being the fifth in season one, there is a lack of gundam in season two, and i doubt that they will bring the gundam in a gundam stunt again.
besides the point we still have the 0 gundam.....and like we know the engine of it is incompatible with the 00 so, it is operational on its own.
or what came to me when you look at the outro of the first episode where 00 destroys the ahead thingy thiing, for a blink of an eye there is a strange fighter flying by. From the looks, it helped the 00.
Saji being the underequipped and underscaled fighter pilot like tolle in seed......dying an almost unheroic death as he.....geez i think i like theory one better.....
