The problem is that there are too many choices: there's not just Gundam, but there's also Code Geass, Patlabor, GaoGaiGar, Betterman....the list is very, very big. Each series has amazing battles of their own, and you'd have to be VERY selective.

The more I think about singling out a battle from a series the more I think you are right. It is really tuff to even remember all of the battles but fairly easy to pop in the last episode and view the final episode. Does anyone else agree with this? lets get a vote.

I'm good with this, i have my list of final battles already.

You could do more topics, you know? Such as: Best Final Battles in Gundam, Best Final Battles in Super Robot Anime, and the like. You don't really have to limit yourself.

Everyone else could do the super robot. I have never really watched super robot. Closest I have gotten is G Gundam, Nadesico, and Voltron.

GaoGaiGar was really slow at the beginning. I actually skipped quite a few eps to get to the action and backtracked from there.

Nope never watched that one. I always have been a little stand offish when it comes to super. They just look a little silly to me and maybe a little kidy but I don't know. I am sure they are great shows, but just maybe not for me.

Have you tried a super robot-real robot hybrid show like Gunbuster? It's a little more like a real robot show in story and character development but a little more super in mecha design.

Gunbuster is the best. Perfect blend of real (whatever that means) robot with super robot. Chicks are sexy and the mechs are sweet. Seems generic at first sight, but its GAINAX's true masterpiece, hands down.
