Gundamn call-in show this week!

Post by Chris » Wed Oct 19, 2011 5:21 pm

Here's the details:
Chris wrote:If you're a regular listener of Gundamn!, you're probably aware that October marks the show's fourth anniversary. In celebration of that, we'll be doing a long-requested listener call-in show this Sunday. If you'd like to participate, here's how: get Skype (if you don't have it) and add the user shinjuku-station. We'll be online Sunday at 2:00 P.M. EST. When you see Shinjuku Station, DO NOT CALL, but rather send an IM that you have questions. Just standby and we'll be adding people in small groups to ask their questions, then move on to the next.

You know I wish I could be in on this one, but my job clashes.
So, if it was like Saturday alternatively I would be good to join in.

So sad to say in advance, I wont be there..

Well, that's not a problem anymore since that bastard Peter went and out-Mu'd you with 16 questions in a single post.

download skype to your computer and test it out w a friend who has Skype, so you're not figuring out stuff last minute during the call in.

If you don't have any friends who use Skype, it has a test service that you can call and make a quick recording to check your audio settings and sound levels.

I wouldn't expect it. Many of the people who have appeared on Gundamn in the past usually aren't available on Sundays, aside from Peter.

Geh, why didn't I notice this thread sooner?
Chris wrote:Well at least this way we'll get to answer questions from more than one person.
To avoid this, how many questions max will you give each person?
Chris wrote:Well, that's not a problem anymore since that bastard Peter went and out-Mu'd you with 16 questions in a single post.
Be careful what you wish for :P

Naturally, since I have no life to speak of 8)

Would you like me to join the show as a co-host or as a caller like the others?

You'll just be a filthy... err, wonderful caller. We'll probably limit things to maybe 2 questions per person to keep things running at a good pace.
