The sun had start to set it's reflection in the water created an immense beauty. Many people have rented expensive seats for this up coming match.

The arena for this battle was rather simple. Two flat islands a few ways apart each housing a gundam. The water was deep, but not deep enough to go past the unit's feet. The units would have to get wet if they wanted to get some melee damage on each other.

The announcer sat in his speed boot. Microphone in hand and his amplifier cranked to 11. His water wings on nice and tight.

" Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey EVERYBODY!! The closing matchup for this gundam fight is going to be a good one!! Jose Espada Neo Cuba's warrior with his Revolution Gundam is going to face of with Ismail Aidid and Neo Somalia's pride and joy the Siad Gundam!!"

The crowd erupted into boos and heckling for both fighters. It really didn't matter even if there were alot of Neo Cubans and Neo Somalians in the crowd. The hatred for these two fighters was enough to make a person buy a ticket.

"With that out of the way let's finish this round in style!!"

The Revolution Gundam arrived on the field rather confidently. Jose had been released from prison and was ready to take his anger out on this African nations Gundam. He was in a foul mood from sleeping on a cot and being denied a cigar and drink for the past week. So standing there he cracked his knuckles and put a nice big cuban cigar in his mouth just to light it up. His face came up in a grin as he decided just how he wanted to defeat his opponent...

"Alright ref I'm ready for this thing. Lets give the people the show they paid so much money to come see." He hollowed as he came down and drew his sub-machine guns and leveled them at the location his opponent was at. One move from the enemy unit and he would blast it to hell. He wasn't going to play around and let this guy win by default like that little girl before. Nobody made a fool of Jose and his Revolution without facing the consequences and that included the person he was taking his anger out on.

The Revolution too seemed to have been kept up while he was gone. The crew had cleaned up the mess and fixed a few things on this machine. It was still missing a Super mode like that girl had used but that was alright. A true warrior could fight without silly little tricks. And he was a true warrior in his opinion. The newest generation of revolutionaries that would lead the world to true Communism and freedom.

"I will win this match... And I will redeem myself for that stupid loss before. They will all fear the power of Neo Cuba and my Revolution. And it shall start with this poor little African nation. He thought to himself as he kept his weapons trained and ready to fire when the ref gave the order. No amount of water between them would hold him back.

[Cardi Doorl]

Colonel Fereh had insisted, as always, that Ismail Aidid go out there equipped with the AK-47. Ismail didn't like the AK-47 because he couldn't feel his opponent breaking like he could with his other weapons.

That's why he was glad General Yusuf had intervened, asserting that Ismail should choose what weapon he felt was best for the job.

Of course, Ismail had equipped his favorite, the hyper hammer. He relished the idea of feeling the impact vibrations through the chain as the spiked ball connected with the enemy and shattered limbs.

With a hungry grin, Ismail lurched the Siad Gundam's upper body to get the hyper hammer swinging in a wide overhead circle. Once he'd built it up to a good rate of spinning, he signalled readiness.

The announcer sat in his speed boot.

I wonder what that looks like?))

Standing in the water, and looking like the third point in a triangle with the fighters, the referee shouted "GUNDAM FIGHT... RRRREADY... GO!"

[Kylern]

"Heh..." Was all Jose said as the enemy came out wielding what appeared to be a massive flail. It was really big but the Revolution held its ground and kept his SMG's trained on the enemy unit. He was not going to be intimidated by this guy.

The Ref then gave the signal for them to start and Jose started it off with a bang. "I'll end this one fast and be done with it!" His Revolution pulled the trigger and fired his weapons on full auto at the enemy unit trying to drown it in armor piercing shells. He wasn't going to let that giant hyper hammer scare him or make him run. Neo Cuba never ran from a battle.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Ismail roared savagely as he lunged forward, still swinging the hammer overhead. The mobile trace feedback registered pain as many of the Revolution Gundam's bullets hit the Siad Gundam all over, but Ismail enjoyed the pain. He didn't enjoy receiving pain nearly so much as he enjoyed inflicting pain, but let's not get sidetracked with details.

That said, Ismail charged, the water bursting in great splashes as the Siad Gundam's feet crashed along. Bullets from the opposition struck home along the torso and legs. Some ricocheted off, but most lodged themselves into the armor.

"Come here!" he howled, his eyes bugging out, "Come here and face me! I show you true pain!"

Jose watched as he bullets didn't seem to effect the enemy unit at all... which wasn't a very good sign. So instead of standing there he took evasive maneuvers to avoid being destroyed by the enemy unit. Quickly he ejected the spend ammo cases and charged into keeping his footing into the water to the best of his ability. Then before the enemy could swing that massive hyper hammer at him he gave a dive to the side and attempted to recover from the roll behind the unit. He raised his guns and connected him.

"Alright you being bastard! Lock out and Drag out!" He was using his trump card so early in the game but there wasn't much else for him to do. His weapons seemed useless and it was time for drastic actions. The weapons connected and he lined up at the rear of the enemy unit to unleash a barrage of beam machine-gun fire.

"DIE DIE DIE!!!" He screamed as he spent all the energy in his weapon on the enemy. The match had only begun and he had wasted his main weapons out.

The nimbler Revolution Gundam timed things just right to dive behind Ismail without taking a hit from the hyper hammer. Ismail growled as he yanked with his left arm to shorten the length of the chain as he wheeled around and swung the right arm to alter the path of the hammer's circle to be a vertical swing rather than a horizontal one. As Ismail turned, the hammer's path was at the point where the head was behind the Siad Gundam. Ismail loosed his right-hand grip, allowing the hammer to soar foward.

Ismail was facing Jose (and the hammer was soaring forward at the Revolution Gundam) just in time to see the Cuban launch his Ultimate Attack. The beams tore through the short distance between the two Gundams, and indeed one of them severed the chain of the hyper hammer. What was at first the equivalent of an attempt to punch the enemy with the hyper hammer had become the launch of a projectile slamming weapon. The hyper hammer's head, trailing a short length of chain, soared toward the Revolution Gundam.

Of course, Jose had launched far more than one beam. Although some sailed by harmlessly, most instead cut right into the Siad Gundam. Burning pains seared through Ismail's body, and the incoming fire, along with the opposite force of the hyper hammer flying off, caused Ismail to lose his footing and fall backward into the waters. The scorched gashes all over his Gundam - particularly all over the torso - allowed water to rush into the internals.

"Grrr... not yet, little man!" snarled Ismail as he fought against the pain and stiffness to try and get back on his feet. The Revolution Gundam's Ultimate Attack had done a hell of a number on Ismail's machine, but he was still able to fight.

Jose realized what position he was in when the enemies hyper hammer was severed and came right at him. He had disposed of his used guns once the clip was empty and they were laying to the side as the metal ball came at him at speeds he couldn't full escape. Instead he pulled down as the ball tore through his left shoulder and took his arm completely off as well as his shoulder barely missing his head.

The Revolution was thrown backwards by the sheer force of the slam and crashed skidding along the water. Jose was in the cockpit biting back the pain as he felt his left arm not moving. He wasn't fully disarmed through because he still has his heat machete and heat wire in his right arm. So painfully he stood back up and looked like quite a wreck. He had also did a number on his opponent so he didn't feel so bad about lossing his entire left shoulder and arm. He was right handed anyways... So the last remaining hand came around to the back and pulled the machete from its sheath as the blade glowed bright red. He also had the magnetic tip of his heat wire attached to the handle just in case. He had one last plan of attack and had to take this big guy down before he was left with no other options to attack with.

Ismail lurched the Siad Gundam back to its feet to see the Revolution Gundam, sans its left arm, at the ready with a heat machete. Ismail noted that his own left arm was awfully stiff, moreso than his right arm. Since his right was in better shape, Ismail used it to reach for his own machete. As the heat function hummed to life, Ismail held the weapon behind him and charged at the Cuban, roaring all the while.

When he was within arm's reach of his opponent, Ismail swung with his machete in a diagonal downward sweep.

Jose switched the machete underhanded as he got into defensive mode. Then taking a deep breath the Revolution go ready to be smacked around and held its position to block the enemy Gundam's slash with his own blade. Both heat machetes slammed against each other and Jose felt himself move back a bit. The enemy Gundam was much stronger than him but due to the Revolution's excel in adaptability he quickly shifted his position and let go of the machete while stepping back. The weapon was thrown aside with the force of the enemies swing but still attached to the heat wire and gave a quick slash and attempted to not only draw it back to his hand but also give a low slash across the thighs of the enemy Gundam's legs. He wanted to cripple his foe and followed up with a burst of head vulcan fire at the enemy Gundam from close range.

Jose was running out of options and was using every trick he knew to win this match.

Jose's recover-and-slash tactic was unexpected. The Cuban's machete cut into the Siad Gundam's left thigh. Ismail clenched his jaw through the pain, then reached down with his empty left had and grabbed the Revolution Gundam's outstretched right forearm. With a primal howl as the enemy's vulcan rounds slammed into his torso, Ismail engaged the Power Mode. The Siad Gundam bulked up considerably.

"DIE DIE DIE!" Ismail roared as he stepped back to spin around a full 360 degrees before throwing his opponent with tremendous force.

His attacks had hit but the opponent didn't fall. What was with this guy? There had to be something wrong and the fact that he didn't fall his opponent with that attack let him wide open for a counterattack.

"Damnit!" He cursed loudly as the enemy Gundam grabbed ahold. Then like a ragdoll he felt his Gundam start to move as the enemy start to spin him around. It was not something he wanted to happen but he didn't have more of an option due to the shear strength of the enemy's massive muscles. Then with a scream he was airborne high into the air and then smashing into the ground with crushing force. The Revolution bounced across the ground as metal plates were torn off and scattered all over the battlefield. His crippled Gundam's body laid their for a few seconds as Jose felt the pain through his suit. He knew he was pretty well done but he couldn't give up like this and using his surviving arm to push himself up the Gundam started to stand again. He retracted the heatwire and the machete attached and tried to take a fighting stance again. He couldn't surrender and would continue to fight until he couldn't stand up again.

Ismail was breathing heavily and clenching his jaw. The pain throughout his entire body was intense, but he refused to let it show. He almost staggered on his wounded left leg as he turned to face the little Cuban.

The machete was getting in the way of Ismail's fun, so he discarded it. He would finish this by dismantling the Revolution Gundam with his bare hands. A demented grin crawled across his face as he imagined the sheer pleasure of inflicting such pain.

Relegating his own pain to the back seat, Ismail growled as he thundered one more time at the Revolution Gundam. With a powerful leap, the Siad Gundam cleared the last couple dozen meters of distance airborne. Ismail brought down his spiked fists as he descended, timing them to smash into the enemy as he landed.

Jose watched the enemy gundam charge forth, and he knew he needed to get out of the way of the charge. And when the unit leaped into the air to come down on him the Revolution needed to move out of the way. But when Jose tried to it refused to move... the Revolution seemed to refuse his commands and Jose had to set himself up to take the shot head on.

"Alright game over!" Jose yelled as he twisted the mechs body in order to avoid letting the cockpit be crushed and was going to use his free arm to get one final strike in. But when the impact came he lost his grip on the machete and watched as it went flying away through the air. Metal crushed and twisted from the fists impact and the cockpit started to spark inside the Revolution. And with his remaining the Revolution used his heat wire to latch onto the larger monster of a Gundam and sent a massive bolt of electricity into the system just as Jose fell back along with his Gundam. His final act had been to fry what was left of the enemies systems and thus hurt their ability to rebuilt it in time for the next match. That was all he could do as it was certain he lost the match.

It was an odd occurance, but not unheard of. A Gundam freezeing in the middle of a match due to damage sustained. That was exactly what happened to the Revolution Gundam.

This match is now over! The winner is Ismail Aidid and the Siad Gundam!
Crews may now retrieve their fighters and Gundams.
