The Lasso caught the Jeepney's Left arm! Al had not anticipated on how deadly accurate a weapon of this nature. He can feel the Cowboy pulling him closer; AL decides to counter the pull with his own thrusters. Al, inside the Trace System, is desperately trying to keep his arm from being dragged.

The smartest thing to do right now is to cut the Lasso with the other hand. His flail was still in his right hand, so he decided to let loose. Two swings, and he lets go, sending the Jeepney reeling back (because of the thrusters still active.) However, it did not take long for the Jeepney to regain composure, Al decided to use his last Wild Flails at James.

"Here we go, one more time, Wild Flails!" Al sent another barrage of mini-beams against James, hoping that he would be caugfht off-guard.

Quickly, James reaches behind him and pulls out a third gun and fires up, before letting go of it and leaping into the air as high as he can. Unfortunately, he isn’t fast enough and the mini beams chew into his right leg from the knee down. Gritting his teeth, he makes sure his back is towards his shot as the flare explodes, creating a blinding light as bright as the sun.

“IT’S OVER!!! HIGH NOON ATTAAAACK!!!!!”

Drawing both pistols, he aims and lets loose. Both revolvers fire off simultaneously at the Jeepney as the 4 vulcans create a storm of bullets. When the Cowboy lands, it lands hard, the right knee taking all the impact instead of the leg.

“ARRRRGH!!!”

The pain is intense, but he has to grin and bare it. He begins emptying the right gun and hurriedly shoves rounds into empty chambers. If he failed to get the Jeepney with the High Noon Attack, he is sunk. He used all his vulcans in that and his revolvers are dry.

It was a clash of Ultimate Attacks!

Offensive Wild Flails versus High Noon Attack! (OOC - cue dramatic music here, Rurouni Kenshin style if possible)

It was a bright show, and it wowed the spectators. After the smoke clears, the worst possible scenario takes place in the Neo-Filipino crew. There lies the Jeepney Gundam, 2 arms decapitated and one leg active, lying down. Granted that the Cowboy Gundam was also messed up pretty badly, it was in a bit better shape than the Jeepney. Cowboy had won the clash of attacks.

How so? In terms of damage, the Wild Flails should have beaten the Cowboy's High Noon, but there are many factors to consider. Aside from the Jeepney being slightly banged up to begin with, it was not accurate enough to land a good percentage of the shots back at the Cowboy, who has dominated the latter half of the battle in terms of speed and acceleration. Not to mention the High Noon at the so-called shoot-out mode is deadly accurate.

Hannah just sighs, but on the back of her mind, she knew it was an uphill battle anyways. "Sorry..?" Was Al's remark. Now, he is not officially out yet, as the torso and head are still intact, but it won't take long for the referee to come in and give him the count.

"It's ok," Hannah replies, "We'll get the next 23! After all, you fought with handicaps!". All she can do now is try to comfort Al, despite somewhat being jealous to him. The last thing she wants to do is to break AL's morale and break his confidence.

Al was very tired, that aside from Hannah, this Neo-American gave him quite a run. The least Al can do is congratulate his opponent. "Good job, Mr. Ranger. That was the best fight I've had in a while." Al was tired, but he stopped feeling the pain---the Jeepney has a temporary shut off after it sees that victory is impossible---a true machine dedicated to Gundam Fights.

“You weren’t all that shabby yourself… Thought I was a goner for sure…”

James is breathing heavy.

“You’re good… Good enough at having a shot at actually winning this thing… No one has ever blocked that many shots before… Made me waste so much ammo…”

The Cowboy finishes reloading the second revolver and holsters it. No need to waste any more shots. The Jeepney is tore up pretty bad, luckily. All that’s left to do know is wait for the Ref, then Jo, who is already in her Prototype Minuteman, standing just outside of the ring, ready to retrieve the Victor when the match is official called. But if James is the Victor, then what does that make Alvin? Sure he lost, but he certainly isn’t a Loser. The Cowboy can’t even leave under his own power, not short of crawling, anyway, and there was no way in Hell James is going to crawl out of the ring.

No, Alvin just simply did not win.

Well it was finally over, and the home team won. The clash of ultimate attacks was certainly a sight to see, and if it was any indication of things to come, John would have a front row seat to the most exciting sporting spectacle ever witnessed.

After confirming the damage to both fighters it was clear that the Jeepney Gundam was not going to be moving again, while the Cowboy could still move, albeit barely. Those were good enough conditions for a victory.

Switching on his suit's PA system John announced "This inaugural match is over. The winner of this round is James Ranger and the Cowboy Gundam!
Crews of both nations may now retrieve their Gundams and fighters."

With that John moved his mech away from the arena and headed back to the hanger where his referee mobile suit was housed.
