I had the Assault GINN picked from the beginning. I'm not a big fan of the M1 or the Strike Dagger...
and I think he blocked the Gunbarrel Dagger.

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
Well the Noir, Doppelhorn, Jet, the Raigo's three, and the Librarian Strikers defiently out. Lightning and IWSP weren't used on grunts till the Destiny timeframe. Aile, Launcher, and Sword are fine. Gunbarrel, tech wise is in the clear, as it was a SEED timeframe pack on a mass production model. Now how newtypes, or space combat, figure into this IDK.

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
Some AW grunts are probably fine, it will take a bit of looking for me though.
Also, about approvals.
I don't know (or remember) how it works here, so I'm just going to make a post later tonight and make a list of approved characters and units. And if your profile isn't approved, I will have sent a PM of why it wasn't and then suggest changes.
World Empire is lacking true allegiances right now. While I won't necessarily close down Firebrand character signups, and assuming mercs will split roughly 50-50 onto both sides, I may have to use The Empire's actual asset when a large-scale battle happens: superior numbers via Leo and Aries as NPCs.
Hopefully I get all that crap out of the way by tonight (as well as everyone else), then we can start by late tommorow or Thursday. I have the first arc planned up, though the first chapter will probably be short, just character introductions and in-game recruitment. 2nd chapter should be the first battle, and then it escalates from there (hopefully). Seeeaound good?

Pretty much ditched my Gelgoog in favor of a tweaked GP-00 Blossom. Same performance specs and the reliability issues fixed. That big gun just won't be as 'big' and hard hitting since it'll use E-Caps ala the early Rick Dom beam bazzies.

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
I can switch my guy over to Empire. Its easy, especially as I've yet to finish typing his background. The reason I didn't at first was I thought ZAFT designs were Firebrand.

I could make a another merc (for the Empire) if it'll help even things out.

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
No need for extra characters just yet (unless you really wanted to), we'll find out how the sides stack against each other after the first chapter, how many mercenaries will pick a side and which side.

I'll store this character for now, then. *does so*

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
Well with Siege finished that is one more for Empire making the sides a tad more even. When does this thing kick off?

Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
I could also make my character an imperial loyalist if necessary. Let me know if that will be necessary.
Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
Again, I'll say, no one has to switch sides right now as we need to see where some of the Mercs may end up (and no, you don't have to tell me right now if you have an unaligned merc). I don't want players getting 'pressured' to play on one side, or a side they may not enjoy.
If I notice that the sides are badly skewed then I have options to weigh in to fix that.
If I have to say something like an important announcement, it will be in blue.
Also, we'll start this game soon. Before Thursday, like, soon. I still have key characters that I need to make.

Ok, so it's not as bad as I thought. We did end up having 4 Empire, 4 Firebrand and 8 unaligned Mercs. So to those 8 mercs, up to a 5-3 split is ideal if everyone aligns...
Alright, thanks to everyone who signed up so far, it will remain open. But the game should start soonish

While I'm happy to have somebody after the Bone Rangers, I was under the impression that the moon was still largely independent. That's why our profiles made it sound like the lunar belt supply corps were also defending ships against the Empire.

To be honest, I don't have a problem aligning with the WE.. as long as they don't skip payments. I can't help but feeling Lem buddying up with Cortez as a contracted technician with Cortez's world view.

Hmm, I'm not sure were to begin. These are or are not Faction limited?
"Paladin Anderson, Executioner Anderson, Bayonet Anderson, Dust to Dust Anderson, Assassin Anderson, Regenerator Anderson, Killing Judge Anderson"-Millennium Soldiers
Re: Gundam: Outlaw's Advance Discussion Thread
Not really limited.
Mercenaries can start anywhere, though those who leans Firebrand may want to start in Barstow while those who leans Empire may want Las Vegas.
Firebrands will most likely start at Barstow.
Imperials can start in Vegas to join the captain who's recruiting mercs there, or join at the restaurant in Barstow.
The Mojave is kinda just open-world that I plan to just keep for a while so that players can meet if they want and maybe fight for a bit... it won't be a main-plot driven thread.
Sorry if it's confusing.
