"I did." called out a voice that had been listening in on the open comm channel of the Fandom pilots.
As the camera panned skyward, it came to rest on the hovering form of the Wing Zero with a buster rifle in each hand.
- BGM = Last Impression (Instrumental) -
Wingnut had arrived on the scene in time to see Daniel's mobile suit take on the charge from the nearby ship and fire it at the Valsion, but due to the fact that his Gundanium alloyed mobile suit was invisible to radar and that those on the battlefield were focused on the attack, he had gone unnoticed until now.
His next target was the trio of GN-XIIIs that were in the area. Firing both buster rifles at full power, he aimed in between the close together Fandom MS and let the force of the beams do the work of destroying them. Which they did as all three went up in GN particle fireballs.
Noting the MP Huckebein units on the field, Wingnut opened a comm channel to the DC forces.
"Attention all beam saber equipped DC units, this is Wingnut of the Gundam Team. Move quickly and attack at close range to the Fandom mobile armors. They have a powerful shield on top, but a soft underbelly that can be exploited. Take advantage of this." Wingnut finished as he turned his attention to the two closest threats, the Descem Custom and Zamza-Zah #1.
Chapter 17: Rescue and Return (Earth)

The beam saber attack was blocked by the field, which vanished briefly before re-forming itself. Bian was about to finish dealing with Wedge when an alarm indicated another high-energy source in the other direction.
Again Bian had to ignore Wedge (sorry) and took the blow head on. The containing field soon broke and "detonated" the energy sphere causing the black hole anomaly to manifest on the outside of the warp field. The swirling force sucked anything around it, which would include Wedge if he wasn't careful.
Although powerful, the effect was brief and soon broke down and dissipated. As did the Valsion's warp field a moment later from the strain put on it during the battle.
A Guarlion landed nearby and fired off a couple of railgun shots in Wedge's general direction to ensure that the unit was leaving with the rest of the Fandom force.

The crew in 1 didn't like it but they had to retreat, they couldn't take out that arrogant Gundam Pilot. Instead. they held their position as the remaining GN-X III's, one of which carrying the crippled Kampfer, passed.
The one trying to face Black Mage also forced to withdraw from its own battle firing multiple shots to keep BM from following. As the two assembled below the remaining GN-X III's they all put up a wall of fire to cover their retreat.
the final one was in the middle of it's attack and thinking he had the enemy right where he wanted it continued.
Wraith
his failure to kill wasn't unexpected but it likely had the wanted effect of buying them time. Wraith, still carrying the Black Hole Gun, was forced to go around rather then pass through the newly formed line but he was ready should any try to stop him.
The subs began to pull away the GN-X III's each landing in their respective ones, the one carrying Wedge landing on the sub Wraith would soon board. The Zamza-Zah's followed and the Plane the doctor was on lead the group.
Avalon
The two opposing ships got closer together the Avalon flying high above the Minerva class. On board a chef was taking a tray of food to the prisoner. Expecting the man to be tied he entered the code the captain gave him and stepped in expecting no resistance.

The two were on sleds burning large amounts of fuel, one of which mounted an HOS jammer which hid them both in it's wake, and quickly closing on the estimated course of the vessel, which thankfully, was right on target. As the two Ignite Pikes penetrated deeply into the Mobile Armour, the two rear energy cannons flipped down to fire. Unfortunately, Jacob was faster. Flipping the Terminus Cannon over the Cerberus' shoulder, and fired a stream of energy that completely engulfed the stricken Mobile Armour.
As the Zama-Zah was reduced to glowing particles, the Cerberus Ignite was silhouetted in the flames.
"Kerberos Fang."
As the two Ignite Pikes penetrated deeply into the Mobile Armour, the two rear energy cannons flipped down to fire. Unfortunately, Jacob was faster. Flipping the Terminus Cannon over the Cerberus' shoulder, and fired a stream of energy that completely engulfed the stricken Mobile Armour.

"Very well. Come to my office after you finish storing your Gundam. I also expect an explanation as to why you came back to Earth in violation of your orders."
"Yes, sir. I do indeed have one that will satisfy you." Wingnut replied.
"We'll see about that." Bian said as he closed the channel and boarded the elevator headed back underground.

Well, that's no surprise that he isn't pleased to see me back so soon. Still, it's better that I'm down here right now. Things are definitely not the way I expected them to be when I left Earth. And until the situation becomes more stable, I'm going to have to remain with the Gundam Team and help guide them down the right path.

Noticing the cook that entered the room, a nice little surprise was coming when he revealed that he wasn't tied up, and in a moment, a fist slammed into the chef's gut, knocking the poor soul out cold.
After tying the guy up with the same ropes that bound him, Zaine cautiously left the room and made his way towards the hangar.

The bridge had just finished retracting into the ship when the weapons officer called out that the ship was in range.
"Good, ready mobile suits for launch. Advise the pilots that their targets will be the small Knightmare Frame type weapons, so be sure to equip accordingly to hit small and fast targets. Have them launch after our first salvo." Ryker replied.
"Yes, sir."
"Weps, target the enemy ship directly. Load Parsifal (anti-ship/ground) missiles into the tubes. Target their defense systems if you can."
Outside the ship, the Tristan beam cannons angled upward to attack the Avalon as the missile ports along the side of the ship opened as well.
"Tristan, fire! Parsifal, fire!" came Ryker's order as both turrets sent their deadly green beams at the Federation ship with the missile launchers firing right afterwords.
Both catapult doors also opened to allow the first pair of MS to launch.

The order came down that they were attacking a ship known as the Avalon. Of course with a little pre-operation research from previous operations he found it was home to a group of KMFs. Kylern had hated Code Geass back home and had an idea what to do after seeing the combat footage.
So with that in mind he had reprogrammed the M.P.B.L.'s energy output from high energy base attack to low energy rapid fire. After all each beam would still be powerful enough to take down the tiny units they were fighting. Even the still small 16 ft TEMJIN was bitter than these guys... He also readjusted the powerbombs to a wider dispersion shockwave. The energy level would be lower and more spread out but he could increase the chance to catching on of them in the attack.
His finally adjustment was to the Radical Zapper... Normally it was a high powered anti-ship mode but he altered it as well. Instead of a focused arrow shot it would release a wide burst of destruction at a shorter range. This was the greatest part of the Multi-purpose beam launcher, it was highly adaptable.
-Operation-
Kylern slipped the VR Direct Imaging helmet and activated the Mind Shift Battle System (M.S.B.S.) and the reverse conversion hooked him up to the inside of the TEMJIN. He could see the cockpit like he was sitting in it and booted up the V Converter as well as the Tesla Drive.
"V Energy at optimum, Sync rate at 82%. Tesla Drive at full capacity, weapons are charged. Time to rock and roll!" The White Knight started to walk up to the launch catapult as its Tesla drive lifted it from the ground. The machine was then fired into the sky far enough for the Max Boosters to flare up and send him screaming towards the battleground. The M.P.B.L. was leveled and the game was beginning.

The Attacks from the Ceres below Hit, exactly as intended, upon the MSV Shielding. Although the ship rocked somewhat the Attacks themselves didn't cause any damage.

Clare was just now learning of the battle, Claus had elected to keep her in the dark, something she would confront him about later. For now she was making her way to the hanger when she noticed the shape of a person darting around a corner ahead; a person not in federation uniform. She knew immediately what was happening.
"ZAINE!!!"
Her Voice was filled with rage that echoed down the empty coridor; She drew her gun, Standard Federation Issue, and gave chase.
Claus Rissur
on the bridge the only one who was clam was the Commander he was ready for almost anything. As it stood they were going to try passing over the Ceres without returning fire. He knew if this was a rescue mission that the Ceres Pilot's couldn't risk attacking the ship recklessly as they might harm the one they were trying to save.

Kylern saw the Avalon no returning fire on the Ceres with the assumption of not wanting to hurt Zaine. Of course the TEMJIN wasn't stopped as it got into position towards the rear of the ship. Kylern quickly set the Radical Zapper to the anti-ship pre-set option and the large beam weapon split in half as energy built into it.
"Bet you weren't expecting someone like me..." He grinned mentally taking aim and unleashing a fully charged blast at the tail of the Avalon. If that shielding held he hoped he at least rocked the ship enough to make a scene before charging in, seemingly riding the beam weapon like a surf board. A layer of beam energy was surrounding the edge of the Blue Slider as he gave a death charge right towards the ship. In the machine's hands were two orange balls seething with explosive energy. He needed to get close to throw them...
Kylern saw the Avalon no returning fire on the Ceres with the assumption of not wanting to hurt Zaine. Of course the TEMJIN wasn't stopped as it got into position towards the rear of the ship. Kylern quickly set the Radical Zapper to the anti-ship pre-set option and the large beam weapon split in half as energy built into it.
"Bet you weren't expecting someone like me..." He grinned mentally taking aim and unleashing a fully charged blast at the tail of the Avalon. If that shielding held he hoped he at least rocked the ship enough to make a scene before charging in, seemingly riding the beam weapon like a surf board. A layer of beam energy was surrounding the edge of the Blue Slider as he gave a death charge right towards the ship. In the machine's hands were two orange balls seething with explosive energy. He needed to get close to throw them...

Strike had, much to Xiu's dismay, ordered that she and Stellar hang back for this attack. The Shenlong and Gaia, while excellent suits, were not suited for mid-air combat, which is what a ship-to-ship battle mostly consisted of. Therefore, only he of the three would be taking to the skies for this fight. The Delta Gundam rocketed out of the Ceres' hanger in Waverider mode and sped headlong in the direction of the the Avalon.
As the Ceres fired, the Avalon made no move to dodge, and it was apparent as to why; the Ceres shots impacted harmlessly against a green barrier of energy that materialized around the Federation ship.
"Blaze Luminous..." Strike murmured. If they wanted to get to Zaine, they'd first have to punch through that shield. But how to do that, he wondered...
Then he spotted the TEMJIN sporting readying what appeared to be some sort of Hadoken attack. Strike shrugged. "Well, I guess that answers that."
