((when you say gunboat (on earth) I think of a boat; slipped my mind those fighters were named gunboats I blame Final-exam-itus))

Avalon

as soon as the Tristan had launched the Avalon lifted off which served two proposes the first being that it could activate it's MSV shields which protected it from the "torpedoes' and it would allow the Excalibur to put up a barrage against it's own incoming torpedoes.

Hal Goodson

The Tristan in Fortress mode sped at the Gunboats launching the heavily armored Spike Harkens at two the ships in an attempt to impale them form above.

Clare Rosewater

Clare herself charged one of the GN-XIII's firing several shots at it's drive from behind.

-Cassan-

It looked like things were kicking off and nobody had targeted him yet. This was good because he found exactly what he needed to do and it was in the form of a massive missile heading their way. "Denied!"

The Testament sent out a virus to the MLC missile fired from the mass Metal Armor. The virus was a scrambling program meant to disarm the warhead and turn the missile into more of a hunk of metal then a powerful explosive. He didn't want it going off anywhere and instead forced it to smash into a building inert.

"Enemy missile defeated. Moving to deal with hostile." So with its Divine flight pack up to full power he charged at the massive unit firing off several bursts from his composite shield unit's beam cannon. he also drew a beam hand-gun and began to fire from it at well hoping to catch the guy unprepared. After all the Testament was in its Stealth Mode and wouldn't show up on sensors. Only sight could catch him.

(Hope that wasn't cheating. Since it was a missile I figured it would be easier to infect than an actual unit.)

--Taylor--

"GN units!" Taylor says as she jumped for the hand and looked at the sky, seeing the visual cues of a GN-T drive. It would take the Dagger mere seconds to get to the hangar of Excalibur in a hurry; after that Taylor only had a few steps to her Akatsuki. She runs past, activates the elevator quickly, and gets to the cockpit. It takes her all of 20 seconds until the Akatsuki's sensors start to glow and didn't even use the launch pad---she steps out of the hangar and boosts out under her own power.

--Rachel--

Her movements were identical to Taylor as she was able to power up her Airmaster Burst quickly. She, however, concentrates inside for a few seconds. The result? The three other Airmaster bits coming to life and pulling out of the hangar. She could already sense the other hangars in danger of being mowed down.

--Duskraiders--

Four GMs, with its pilots knowing the relative strengths of the Airmasters, goes into a defensive position to protect the hangar where the Duskraiders are housed, as the pilots power their units one by one.

--Slug and Antonio--

"This base is goooonnee!" Antonio screams as he powered the Hummingbird at maximum thrust, effectively escaping the zone in a few seconds.

Slug was not too far behind as he used pure force to get to the sky and back up Antonio. "I'm only backing you for a few seconds, and then I'm going to help them out!" Antonio agrees, as he powered up higher and faster.

Hmmm, They're ignoring us. They're so dumb, Slug thinks as the two large units boosted out of the battlefield.

-Jacob/Sara-

Leaving the hanger after the commotion seemed to die down, Jacob and Sara returned to the crew quarters and entered Jacobs room. Shrugging off his jacket, Jacob flexed his artificial arm, watching the play of light along the exposed metal. He turned to Sara and asked, in a serious tone, "Are you really okay with this, with who I am?"

Sitting beside him, Sara touched the arm. The metal vibrated slightly under her hand. She turned her head and looked Jacob right in the eye and replied in a similar tone. "This doesn't matter to me. This is who you are and it doesn't matter what's happened to you. Nothing like that can change what I think of you."

Taken aback by her sincerity, Jacob looked away and grabbed for his pills. Tipping out a few, he dry swallowed them in in go.

((I'm not going to take control of every single unit attacking here. The Gunboats are one thing, but I know you people can interact with the GN-X types on your own and portray them accurately, so please do so.))

- Roberto -

"What?"

Somehow, someone had stopped the missile cold without blowing it up. Roberto got his most likely answer as to who when alarms went off indicating incoming enemy fire. Although large, the Gilgazamune was able to evade the cannon shots, however one of the hand-gun blasts caught the left leg, doing minor damage.

"Not bad, whoever you are."

Roberto pushed the metal armor to a higher altitude as the two machines closed in on each other. As they did Roberto caught sight of the white machine shooting at him.
"So there you are." he said as he extended the right arm and from under the shield, unloaded a full spread of missiles at the Testament.

- Gunboat teams -

Although briefly surprised by the MSV shields, the Gunboats continued by firing another salvo from their launchers just before the Tristan's Spike Harkens hit. However thanks to the shields of the Gunboats, the weapons bounced off of the fighters doing no damage at all and causing the Harkens to go slack. Their GN-X escorts returned fire with several shots, but stayed with the fighters as they moved into a strafing run on the Avalon with their beam guns.

Hal would have other matters to worry about as well as a pair of GN-XIIIs from Team 2 started shooting at him with their GN Lance mounted beam guns.

The Jinx III that Clare was shooting at picked up her in time to turn around and evade her fire and once turned around open fire himself with rapid fire bursts from the GN Lance. One of the other GN-XIII units that was part of his team also turned to help as well.
One thing that had been drilled into the pilots heads before they launched was to never let a unit be separated from the others. A sort of mandatory buddy system as it were. Fandom Intelligence had seen what Federation mobile suits were capable of, Gundams in particular, and isolating and picking off mobile suits one-by-one was a favored tactic of Federal pilots. With any luck at least working in pairs would delay if not defeat this tactic.

Meanwhile a trio of Gunboats launched heavy rockets at the hanger group where the Duskraiders were housed. They would have to move and launch quickly, or be annihilated.

-Cassan-

Now the fun began. His unit was going to to be put through its largest trial so far as he went after the large enemy unit trying to keep up the pressure with a mixture of beam blaster cannon and hand-gun fire. He was trying to close in to prevent the enemy unit from evading so much when it pulled out another trick...

Numerous missile bays were shown underneath the armor of the large monster letting Cassan know that this could get dangerous. And quickly Cassan tried to defend himself by unleashing a wave of viruses to cause the first layer of missiles to detonate and hopefully take the others out domino style. If more were still going to come after that then the Testament started to draw back in order to give himself more dodging room since this guy was becoming to dangerous to meet head on.

"This guy is something else..." Cassan felt frustrated as he drew back out of his beam hand-gun's range and re-evalutated the situation as he tried to handle what was left of the missiles. Of course there were just too many and he retreated using his Virus emitter as a defense tool. "Attention ground crew target the massive Metal Armor in the sky!" Cassan gave the coordinates as defense guns opened up on the enemy unit while the Testament tried to shoot it with his beam cannon.

The Tristan's Spike Harkens retracted as he spins sideways to avoid the bursts of fire. The Tristan showing mobility even the best of mechs would be jealous of. he U-turned to face his attackers and released the Harkens again this time however they combined in mid air-to release a Stream of blue particles.

The attack was certainly surprising as the GN-X III raised it's shield thinking it would be the same as the attack on the Gunboats and found the powerful beam smashed though it and into his left shoulder leaving the arm attached but inoperable. His teammate switched targets to the combined Harkens only to find it pass though the empty space between them as they returned to their master.

Jason Lancer

even as the Avalon ascended The Mordred took off. it's pilot stone silent as the 'missile' tubes all over it's body opened fire on the Team trying to strafe the ship.

Clare Rosewater

Clare moved sideways as beam fire from from the two GN-X III's came at her. She returned fire with the VARIS managing to catch one of the units in the head and damaging it's camera and causing it to go silent for the moment as it's pilot tried to get his bearings.

This allowed her to focus fire on the second with deadlier results the last shot in her clip hit the cockpit eating though the thinner armor and the pilot. Clare quickly reloaded the VARIS as she decided on her next target.

-Avalon-

the White ship seemed to be receiving a lot of attention as more and more fire was directed at it. The MSV shielding taking many hits as the ship tried to climb above the thicker parts of the battle. The first shots from the beam guns managed to score hits on the ship charring parts of it's profile. even as CIWS was directed at the smaller machines and their incoming ordinance.

--Duskraiders and 4 GM--

The GMs fire their beam rifle at the incoming GN-XIII's, but the GN units were just too fast, avoiding the majority of fire, but it did break them off formation. 2 GN-XIII return the favor to two GMs; their outdated shield could only last them so long. One shot decimated the shield, and then the second shot destroys them. The other two GMs humor the two charging GN-XIII's by more beam rifle fire, but they bob and weave with their lances, looking for a fancier way to kill the GMs.

The Fandom forces lose sight of their real goal, however; while they could still destroy the hangar for a consolation prize; Destroying an empty hangar is near useless, as the four Airmasters had taken off. One of them, funnily enough, carries the torso of D3, which got badly burned on the last mission. Obviously, in that condition they are in no way battle-ready. They get out, just before more ammunition from an unknown location (Gunboats) eventually bring the building down.

"Cover us! We're retreating to Tokyo!" D2 says, carrying D3 and has its pilot squeezed in inside D2's cockpit.

The three other Airmasters then trade blows with three GN-XIII, trying to protect the wounded units. Firing, evading, blocking, both sides were evenly matched. The Duskraiders see the lances and do their damnedest to not get into melee range. One of the GN-XIII's that just offed the GMs are looking to finish the last two, first thrusting and impaling a third GM, and promptly explodes it.

The last GM goes into a retreating position in such a way that the Airmasters can easily cover as well; the GN-XIII attempts to jump high, and try to land on the backing GM to impale it through the top of its head, until...

"I don't think so!"

--Rachel--

The three bits quickly swarmed the GN-XIII high in the air and was already surrounded before he even noticed; the pilot was too busy looking good for the kill. While Rachel was further behind, she commands the three bits to annihilate the Fandom unit, and it does so, by creating a massive web of beam that while the GN-XIII attempts to bravely evade all shots, it was near impossible as eventually the incoming beam fire from 3 different directions overwhelms it, blowing off all its limbs, knocking out all of its stability controls and sends it crashing through the ground.

"Attention ground crew target the massive Metal Armor in the sky!" Someone says. "Damn!" Rachel responds; she's seen this one before, and its tougher than your average Fandom grunt.

She sends herself and the bits in that direction, but gets interrupted by another GN-XIII. Rachel retaliates with beam fire, but was rendered useless when it threw an anti-beam chaff at her area, rendering all of her beam weapons useless at range. She pulls back and regroups, seeing another group of 4 (GN-XIII Team 2) grouped and taking position to surround her...

--Taylor--

"Akatsuki Gundam, eliminating Fandom targets!" Taylor reports as she bursts up in the air, seeing the smoke from some of the buildings being razed. She presses a handful of buttons and opens up a new communications line. "2nd Air Wing, do you copy? Taipei is under attack and we need backup, I repeat, we need backup!"

"Roger that, we're turning around for support." Five ZetaPlus AX2's previously heading back to Tokyo turns around to see a cloud of grey smoke at where they came from. Alarmed, the five then boost to full power.

Taylor, then, quickly engages the nearest opponents---The Team 5 GN-XIII's, gunning for Excalibur. Their formation was broken up by Taylor who fires a flurry of high-energy beam cannon waves at the opponent. She destroys the lance of one opponent, prompting the team to go after the Akatsuki at a higher elevation. In response, Taylor fires the Akatsuki's thrusters and verniers at full power to evade the eventual GN-XIII shots.

He wasn't exactly familiar with Cyborg technology, but he wasn't in the mood for that at the moment.

"...I'm just worried about her... and...I don't..." He couldn't finish that last remark, but what he wanted to say would likely become clear with his next sentence, as he decided to turn it towards the other thing he wanted to talk about. "...How... do you... feel about Tallis... as a person...?" He lowered his head after asking. He just hoped Gai didn't turn the question on him.

-Luna-

"Get this ship airborne!!!" Luna ordered to the crew once she arrived at the bridge, and in a few moments after the Dagger L that delivered Taylor and Luna to the ship, The Excalibur took flight with the GN-XIIIs and Gunboats coming at it, though the GN-XIIIs would turn their attention to the Akatsuki...

-Lyon and GM Custom 1-

The GP01 and GM Custom soon opened fire on the Gunboats that were trying to get their ship, the shields they had held against the Beam shots fired at them.

-Excalibur-

"Let's test those shields of theirs... ready the Dual Cannons; target those Gunboats and fire!" The Excalibur's dual-barreled cannons soon appeared and fired on the Fighters, managing to overpower the shields and destroy the crafts before they became a problem.

- Roberto -

As the enemy was pre-occupied with the missiles, Roberto drew his sword and activated the neural interface system that allowed the Gilgazamune to be controlled directly by his thoughts alone. This made the unit incredibly responsive and fast, but only lasted for 5 minutes.

Roberto raced in around the missile swarm he had fired and came in on the Testament from the right with a slash at it's right arm.

-Cassan-

This was starting to suck even worse... His warning lights were going haywire as the massive Metal Armor came streaking around at him with its massive sword drawn. Two could play that game... The missiles were defeated, if rather slower than he had hopped in which time he had barely turned around to face his foe. The massive anti-armor sword extended from the composite shield on the Testament's right arm as he took the blunt of the swing.

"Your big and fast but I have a few tricks you probably don't expect." Now that they were locked up Cassan sent out a virus to ensnare a nearby GN-X and bring it under his control. The Testament gained full access to the Fandom machine and forced it to move behind the enemy unit while its attention was focused on him. Then the make sure the big guy didn't move the anti-armor grappling claw that at first appeared to be a flightpack snapped out like a stinger to grab the enemies other arm to prevent it from moving with the GN-X opened fire from behind with its GN-Submachine gun.

-Kylern-

He stood there as the shades of his memory betrayed and left him alone again. A stream of tears ran down his face as he begged to wake up from this nightmare. But instead of being released his will escaped the confines of the darkness and touched something in the outside world.

-Hangar 3U-

The crews had gotten the machine up again and finished repairing the legs. The previous call to Dr. Bian had been unanswered and the Chief was sure that this situation wasn't important enough for the head of the DC to worry about. And of course they had made sure it was once again turned off and locked down to prevent it from doing something strange again. Too bad for them but it didn't work as the TEMJIN unlocked and activated.

M.S.B.S. Connection complete... VO+ Pilot found... Brain-wave conversion initiated... Beginning Reboot of combat systems... ... ...

The TEMJIN hadn't lit up like before yet but the cockpit was definably alive. But what it was doing was still unknown because the special pilot conversion system loaded onto a Virtualoid was different from other things in this universe. Yes all 2nd and 3rd generation Virtualoid's had a cockpit from direct piloting but they still had the ability to be controlled by VO+ pilots remotely. The TEMJIN had entered M.S.B.S., or Mind Shift Battle System, mode and was connecting its own energy wave-length to its dedicated pilot's brainwaves in order to reactivate itself.

-Goldsburg-

Now this was something odd... Goldsburg watched the computer screens and noticed that while body functions remained low, the brain was awake. Which was strange because it proved that Kylern wasn't brain-dead as he had first feared. But what was he responding too and why wouldn't he wake up? Then it hit him like a ton of bricks... This guy was responding to the TEMJIN which was sending out the same wavelength as he was. They were trying to sync psionically and Goldsburg had an idea. Quickly he ran out of the room to find the VR Direct-link helmet Kylern had worn when piloting the machine. It must have been a way to connect the pilot directly to the Virtualoid since the cockpit didn't exactly contain impressive visual screens and controls. Maybe the connection could work wirelessly and the mentally active Kylern could operate through the TEMJIN.

Goldsburg came running back with the headgear and placed it over the still laying head of Kylern. Then he hooked several wires up to his computer in order to analyze the results himself. But now he just had to wait to see if this actually worked...

-Ptolemy-

"Ma'am, the base is moving to be compromised. That flying Gundam squadron has since moved off. It looks like they're down to the smaller units and the Sphynx shaped vessel."

"May as well call the base lost, orders?"

Heading frowned, her jaw set as she clenched her fists and slammed her right fist on the arm of her couch. With a huff, she stood, nodding to the tactical operator.

"Spool up the GN drives, get that GN field up. Also, get in contact with the base command and tell them that we're now operational."

"Roger. Should we deploy Enlight, ma'am?"

"No, deploy the Ikarus wing."

"Roger."

The Tac-Op then buzzed the pilot's lounge, all 12 of the Ikarus pilots now rested and recovered from their ordeals thanks to medical supplies and food from the base. It also helped that the repairs for the Ikarus units had gone off without a hitch, the added manpower having allowed the ship to get all 12 of her Ikarus units back into the fight.

The Ptolemy was now a force to be reckoned with once again.

"Ikarus teams, scramble. I repeat, Ikarus squads scramble."

"About damn time.. Lets move."

The 12 pilots of the 3 Ikarus teams rushed through the still under repair halls of the Ptolemy XIII, donning their helmets and sealing up their suits for the fight ahead. They soon reached the hangar and loaded up into their respective suits.

"All pilots report in."

"Gold lead go."
"Gold 2 go"
"Gold 3 go"
"Gold 4 go"

"Red lead go"
"Red 2 go"
"Red 3 go"
"Red 4 go"

"White lead go"
"White 2 go"
"White 3 go"
"White 4 go"

"All pilots launch at your discretion. Target the Gunboats and leave the Jinx units to the Federal Garrison."

All of the pilots acknowledged in unison, the hangar decks on the ship opening as one by one, the Ikarus units shot out of the white ship. They soon formed up in 4 man teams and each team went after a Gunboat of their own..

"Get the Missile batteries online. Target the Jinx IIIs. Fire!"

The two forward most Missile batteries opened up and launched their salvos (48 total) of missiles at the Jinx IIIs that surrounded the Gunboat units. If the pilots were any smart, they'd eject now and let their units be lost to the volley of shimmering missiles as they bore down on their positions..

-Hawaii Base-

Three Ikaruga class ships arrived at the base, two with their hangars loaded with Burai, Gekka, and Akatsuki, while the third kept room for Zero's KMF and two other KMFs. Not far behind them was another transport, carrying MS for another group of pilots.

A group of engineers in Zero's employ would be nearby, waiting to examine the ships and send the results to their commander.

- Roberto -

The impact of the beams caused Roberto to break the lock he had with the sword, and although the Testament had a hold of his left, he simply opened the chest cavity to reveal the 16 clustered guns beneath which promptly opened fire on the Gundam at point blank range. The amount of lead being pumped into the machine at that range would be felt even through Phase Shift armor.
Roberto then swung his free arm around at the GN-X and disposed of the "traitor" machine with a pair of small missiles from the forearm launcher.

((Omega, every gun on the ship is a duel gun. Be more specific next time.))
Meanwhile, one of the Gunboats attacking the Excalibur was struck head on by one of the larger secondary guns and knocked off course, the other two continued firing their beam guns as they continued to close in, weaving in between the gunfire as they and their escorts closed in.

((No TBZ, that would be dumb of them as they know too much to be captured by the Federation.))
The first indications the Fandom pilots had that things had shifted in the battle was the streams of purple(right?) particles coming from the missiles that were closing in on them.
"Those can't be!" said one pilot before his machine was taken down by one of the missiles as the others scrambled to shoot the rest down before they could do any more damage.

The GN-X escorts of the Gunboats that now had the Ikarus units on their tails turned around and opened fire on the unknown units that threatened their charges.

He had not taken the gunclusters into account but he wasn't about to end this now that he had the upper hand. So instead of letting go he just turned the dial up on the Variable Phase Shift armor as high as the power would go and ignored using beam weapons for now. This mean he used the rest of the suits capacity to crush the enemy units arm with the anti-arm claw and as the guy turned around to attack the poor GN-X Cassan used the freed blade to plunge into the enemy unit while it was distracted.

Ammo was poured into the Testament and the unit was thrashed but the mixture of VPS and a nuclear reactor saved his tail. Although the pilot wasn't in as good of condition since he was literally just shaken all to the hell. Hopefully the blade would meet its target and he could end this battle with one quick cockpit aimed thrust of the massive anti-armor blade.

Wan Fey Lo

His arm still in it' sling, per the doctors instructions, Wan had lef tthe sub hoping to find himself a new machine as repairing the Goren would take too long to be practical. thus he brought himselfin the hanger which contained unused machine; inside the Destiny and VF-27 both waited for their destined pilots.

Neither of these two machines suited Wan he knew he wouldn't be able to pull their potential out and kept walking soon he encountered a neglected machine in the corner gathering dust. Wan immediately called over a mechanic.

"tell me about this mech."

"to be honest we don't know much; there are black boxes all over it we simply can't seem to analyze. We got it a while ago from who knows where and no one's been interested in piloting it."

the Black machine was calling him it's yellow eyes seeming to draw him in. Something about this machine seemed to wanted him to pilot it.

"Prep it for combat"

Icer/Snow

Icer had moved his machine to the hanger to find three other mechs already there; Wight's old Akatsuki Jikisen, Snow's Jikisan and the Shen-hu it's cockpit block and right arm clearly missing. Snow himself was on the ground staring blankly at the Shen-hu, not even noticing the Zangetsu roll into the hanger and his Captain climb down.

"Snow; what are you doing?"

"..."

Icer received no reaction as he began approaching the younger pilot as he closed he saw something on snow's cheek, glimmering. what happened next would likely surprise anyone watching.

"GRIT THOSE TEETH BOY!!!"

Captain Icer reeled back his fist and as Snow turned to face him released a powerful blow right in the kisser. Snow was knocked back stumbled and fell.

"S-sir?"

even with the swelling lip one could see his confusion.

"Stop wasting your time on tears you aren't the reason either of them died; now go get cleaned up you're still on duty"

Snow stood and made a snappy salute before rushing to do as his captain ordered. Icer himself had to admit that did the trick even better than he had hoped, the boy's reaction told him that much. Icer had seem team members die many times before and this time as every other time he felt the weight of responsibility.

-Lyon and GM Custom-

She took notice of the Gunboats closing in on Excalibur. "You won't harm that ship!" She rushes off after the Gunboats with the GM Custom following behind, both opening fire with their beam rifles on the Gunboats and their MS Escorts.

((...Sorry...))
-Excalibur-

One Gunboat had been knocked off course while the other two continued and were now weaving in and out of the line of fire while keeping the pressure on with their beam guns. "Descend, then ready the anti-air lasers." The Excalibur soon lowered it's altitude to evade the Gunboats beam fire as it's Anti Air Lasers soon appeared. "Bring the ship to a halt, then fire at those ships and their escorts." with that, the AA Lasers locked on to the fighters and opened up on them.

-Dagger L Squadron-

The Daggers positioned themselves for ground-based support for their ship and opened up with their beam rifles on the gunboats that were trying to destroy Excalibur.

-Zero-

He moved his KMF into the hangar of the Ikaruga flagship and departed for the bridge of the unnamed flagship, just as the other transport carrying multi-mode MS touched down. ((There you go, SR Mk. 2))

"Hmm... Impressive, the engineers did a marvelous job building it." Zero spoke with a hint of admiration in his voice.

A member of the bridge crew soon came forward and spoke.

"Ah you must be Zero, the leader of the Taskforce these ships and Knightmares are for." Zero nodded. "Well then, do you have names for these ships?"

"Yes, this one will be Highwind. One will be called Aroundight and the other... Abel's Ark."

The bridge crew member nodded. "Flagship is Highwind, the other two are Aroundight and Abel's Ark." She then proceeded with the registry of the ships to their respective names as Zero took a seat in the Captain's chair.

((OOC: Prepare for a long-ish post))

DC main base.

Time date: shortly after Wingnut starts piloting the Wing Zero

"Pardon me, Terrace, but Mister Bian would like to see you."

Terrace looked up at the orderly who had tapped him on the shoulder.

"Did he say what it was about?"

"Just that you should see him at the earliest possible convenience, sir."

Shrugging, Terrace walked off towards Bian's office. A nod from the guards, and the door opened.

"You wanted to see me, sir?" Bian looked up.

"Yes. This is our current head mechanic, who goes by 'Kid.'" With that, Terrace noticed the rather youngish-looking man who was also in the room.

"Pleasure to meet you, Terrace. I have a few questions about your Gundam. What made you want to stick a GN drive on it in the first place?"

Terrace thought about it.

"I suppose that it had to do with my thoughts at the time about how GN drives were better than most other forms of power generation and thrust. When we captured a Fandom suit over the Sahara, I found out that it had one of these drives. I decided to see what benefit it could give Heavyarms if I added it."

Kid looked thoughtful. He said, "We frequently can't get our hands on enough GN drives to really get a handle on what the effects are on Mobile Suits that aren't originally designed for them. I'd like to use your Gundam to help with the tests. You'd have to be out of action for a while, but we would greatly increase our knowledge of how to work GN drives." Kid grinned. "Who knows, we may even be able to copy it to make our own GN drives. A big take that to the Fandom, eh?"

Terrace smiled, too. "I think I'd like that."

For the next long while, Terrace stayed at the DC headquarters to assist with the GN testing on Heavyarms. They ran the suit through a battery of tests, their knowledge growing with each new one.

Present day

Terrace was now given orders to rejoin Wingnut's team now that they were returning, and waited to greet them when they returned. Now he was returning to action.

He could hardly wait.

-Ikarus Squads-

"This is Gold Lead to all Gold units; Gold 3 and 4, toe to toe with the Jinxes. Gold one follow me."

The Red and White leads ordered similar commands as two of the suits from each squad broke off to engage the two Jinx escorts, the other Ikarus pairs breaking off to engage the Gunboats themselves. It was a spray of violet GN particles everywhere, much to the probable surprise of all the units involved in the battle. The two units that engaged the Jinx escorts would be in for a nice surprise when they'd find their suits simply outclassed by the Ikarus' which would feel as if they were going against a pair of Jinx IIIs.

The Ikarus escort interceptors dodged left and right, rolling around the shots as well. The white Gundam like suits were now in melee range, igniting their sabers, a few wielding them in an inverted form (Think Malek's Shien weild). A flurry of slashes would fill the screens of the Fandom escorts, while the pair that intercepted the Gunboats would double team the craft fore and aft.

It was almost as if these people were as experienced with GN warfare maneuvers as the Fandom pilots themselves..
