-Zero-

A message soon came in for Zero from the higher-ups, which he took in his quarters. "Ah, long time no see... I take it you made a decision on my request?" The man on the monitor nodded, "Yes, we have... Your request for a taskforce within the Fandom has been approved, and three ships with three production type Knightmares are being delivered to Hawaii as we speak."

Soon, Pictures of the ship model he's getting and the Knightmares also appeared.

"Thank you, I promise I won't let you down." Zero said politely before closing the monitor and returning to the bridge.

Looks like I can finally be trusted higher-up.

He soon arrived at the bridge and relayed a bit of good news to the crew over a public channel through the ship."Once we reach Hawaii, we'll be transferring over to a new ship. And those interested in becoming pilots will have their chance." He then relaxed in the chair and began to enjoy what little time he had left on this sub.

Icer

during his stay aboard the sub Icer had mostly stayed near his machine; it seemed incomplete without it's blade. The black machine and it's pilot both sat in the hanger, beside them the damaged ejection system from the Guren.

Icer had received word of what happened in the end half of his team was dead and he was sure Wan didn't give a damn one way or another though. Icer sat in stony silence. The Zangetsu would be easy enough to fixbut Icer's honor was another matter.

Sume Gai/Tallis Stenner

Talllis had to consider the question for a while; she would be outright lying if she said that it wasn't Frightening to be fired upon but somehow she did associate the memories with that. She then considered excitement, yes, that was closer to what it was; but it wasn't the excitement one associated with pleasure but rather danger.

"Well everything was happening so fast it's all a blur right now so I..."

"I see you don't have words to describe it do you?"

She had to admit that yes there were no words to convey how she had felt or did feel. she merely nodded in acknowledgment.

"That's hardly unreasonable. I think you'd best get some rest you look tired"

-Zaine-

Having calmed down enough to hopefully avoid picking a fight with Gai, Zaine re-entered the hangar to check his Huckbein and maybe figure out what that Green Energy was. He made it to the machine and climbed into the cockpit, though he couldn't help but feel awkward about all that happened.

"I'll talk to Gai after I figure out what that stuff was backing my punch..."

He then ran a systems check to try and see if it was a bug that caused it. Everything seemed okay... Until a message came up...
T-Link System Down
"What the heck's a T-Li--" His voice promptly lodged itself in his throat as he searched for T-Link System in the database. The result soon returned...

"A system that... amplifies Psychic energy and... uses it to... power up attacks?..." Zaine read over the rest of the description quietly before coming to a realization as to the green energy was if he was reading this right.

"What the hell happened to me..." Deciding he'd leave the bit concerning the T-Link System at that for the time being, he hopped out of the cockpit and to the hangar floor before turning his attention to Gai. He walked over to him and Tallis before letting slip his presence.

"Sume Gai... we need to talk." His hand would motion towards Tallis to give an idea as to what he wanted to talk about.

Sume Gai/Tallis Stenner

Gai looked up to see a face recognized more from reports than having actually met him.

"Zaine Kamya I presume; it seems we finally meet."

Gai steps aside to offer his hand.

"So would you rather talk here or in private."

Tallis wasn't sure what to do she felt a clear tension in the air and that whoever broke it would be mauled by a lion or something. As such she stood there watching the blank space between the two.

Hale

alone in the darkening dusk the body never woke. the brain died bit by bit as it failed to restart the ruined lungs and starved without oxygen. the Eject pod would, for a time, be his floating coffin but after the air that kept him afloat dispersed through the raft's material the black box would sink to the bottom of the sea near Wake Island.

Snow

Alone the young pilot was not nearly as composed as his leader he had learned of both "deaths" earlier than his captain having witnessed one and failed to recover the other. He had not exited the cockpit in fact he 'sat' there staring horror struck at the Shen-hu's battered frame then about half way there he spoke.

"Dammit! if I had only taken the time to check... Dammit! Dammit!! DAMMIT!!!!!"

each 'Dammit' was punctuated by an ever louder bang as he struck the side of this cockpit with his fist with increasing force.

"I'd rather we talk in private." He wasn't really wanting anyone else to hear, especially Tallis. "What place do you have in mind?" Hesitantly, he accepts the handshake offer.

Sume Gai/Tallis Stenner

"right I think I know a place; Tallis you should get some rest batttle can be very exhausting"

With that Gai lead Zaine out of the hanger and to a door right beside the hanger entrance one with a card lock on it.

Tallis realizing she was, in fact. exhausted returned to the Woman's Barracks to get some rest after bidding the three remaining in the hanger goodnight.

-MP1-

The MP had waited for his chance to approached the younger girl to relay his message.

"Xiu; Zangetsu has requested you pay him a visit at you're earliest convenience; he is currently in Detention cell three"

Sume Gai

The room which he led Zaine into was filled with what looked like the collision of a hospital ward and a laboratory. A large metal table with connectors all along its length forming the basic shape of a human; at the table's head were various monitors each bearing different readouts though all of them were currently blank. In addition there were a pair a carts full of similar monitors and instruments and a large silver case resting in the corner. Gai offered Zaine one of several chairs lined up against the wall as he sat on the table.

"So Zaine where should we start."

-MP2-

It was officially a weird night, he was now escorting a man with two Talking cats to the hanger. The fact that he was doing it wasn't the thing that unnerved him most, it was rather, that the Bridge crew seemed totally unperturbed by this whole state of affairs.

"I'm going to get a transfer as soon as I get back a swear..." The MP muttered under his breath as he finally reached the hanger.

"thank you; Meow"

"who knows how long it would have taken Masaki to find his way out, Meow"

"I knew where we were going the whole time."

"That certainly explains the eight wrong turns you nearly took while the guard was Right beside us, Meow"

"yeah that was all part of the plan; say uh.. guard dude, hypothetically, if I wanted to go to North America which way would I go?"

The Guard knew the ship's general heading so a simple point to the east was his answer.

"thanks I gotta go time's a waste'n."

With that Masaki boarded the Cybuster and took off heading in the completely wrong direction. the MP just wanted his shift to end.

He felt rather uncomfortable in this setting, but took a seat.

"So Zaine where should we start?" Gai asked.

"First off, I wanna know why you offered Tallis the chance to be a pilot when she still needed training. The other thing i'm curious about can wait a bit."

- Red Eagle -

The transport finally arrived and touched down on what was left of the island base and soon informed Major Gorden that they were to take the Cattalya and anyone else that needed a ride back to Hawaii.

"Very well. We'll load up as soon as we can." Charles replied as he made to park his Tallgeese inside the large aircraft.

- Lune -

Turning around Lune found a young girl that she did not recognize. "I guess you might say it is. I'm not really up on what counts as what exactly in those terms unless it's obvious. Who are you anyway?"

"I'm June Uzuki, the new mechanic for this ship..." She replied then added, "And here I was hoping it wasn't a super-robot... *sigh* and it looks cool too..." She hung her head down, clearly disappointed that she found a super robot.

-Underground Hangar-

The crew in charge of repairing the TEMJIN was in shock as the machine actually started to try and move on its own. The chief sort of stared at his underlings with a look of disbelief as the machine was now laying flat on the ground after its failed attempt to walk. The man wasn't sure who he should call first... This unit belonged to Doctor Goldsburg's charge but this incident in their opinion wasn't something for a people doctor and more for someone experienced in advance technology. Which meant they needed to let Doctor Bian know that the offworld mech was doing really strange things.

He dialed the office from his cellphone and waited for someone to pick up before speaking. "Sir this is the crew from Hangar 3-U (third floor underground). We actually aren't sure who to contact about this but the TEMJIN, you know the machine that came through the dimensional gate with that Kylern fellow, is doing some odd things. First its systems activated and it was talking about something called an M.S.B.S. and then it tried to move on its own. Of course its not in any condition to walk but it sure as hell tried." The chief mechanic for this hangar was definably freaked out and not sure what was going on around here. He just needed some reassurance that he wasn't crazy. All 4 men had seen it move and none of them had been drinking or anything.

-Kylern-

Time never seemed to move as he sat there on the false ground in what appeared to be a space like setting. His arms were crossed and his eyes closed trying to obviously mediate. Not that he was very good at it... His dabble in spellcraft as a teenager had caused him to try things like mediation, incense and such to focus. But this was different because it wasn't so much focusing but trying to kill time and not lose his grasp on reality.

Finally something different happened and he opened his eyes to see a figure not to far from him standing there with its back turned to him. He noticed the hair and what appeared to be pointed ears and automatically thought of Rena. But as he got up the figured disappeared showing that it was just a mirage created by his lonely subconscience. The next figure was now standing beside him and he had to blink a few times before realizing who it was. It was his sister from home...

"Don't give up so easily big bro. If you do then you'll never find your way back home to us. Everyone misses you..." Kylern turned to embrace her in a hug but the figure vanished like the one before leaving alone again. But her voice remained in the air a little longer. "Never forget or you'll always be lost."

-Medic Wing-

Goldsburg had been sitting there half asleep when a blip appeared on the brain wave sensors. He lazily looked over at it and it seemed there was actually some activity going on in that head of Kylern's. But nothing showing that the otherworlder was actually going to wake up. But he wondered if this meant that Kylern was far from brain dead as he had thought previously. Maybe if they could stimulate activity then they could wake him up. But how to do that was still out of his grasp. Until he knew why the TEMJIN was radiating the same energy wavelength as Kylern's brainwave the next step wasn't clear.

"that is simple, she asked me to help her become a pilot. But more importantly, didn't you see what she did out there? She doesn't need training; she needs confidence."

Alex Bloke

Alex's Huckebein was moved to an underground dock much like the TEMJIN. There it was undergoing a full inspection. The scientists were busy trying to find out just what had happened to the GS-ride and Tesla Drive. the lines that transferred the Energy within the Drive were almost totally fried.

It would take time to rebuilt the drive and perhaps even longer to bring it up to spec in case the same phenomena took place again.

Mao decided that it was a good time to tell the Brigade of their new upgrades that were going to be arriving soon seeing that they were all enjoying their lunches right now. He first put down his forks in a motion that sort of got their attention, since they stopped to look at what he was doing.

"Hey guys, Do you know how we were all piloting Falkens at the beggining of this war?"

"Well, of course. We're the only ones left that still wanted to pilot them anyway."Tsuruya was the only one that really spoke for the group and it was how it always was.

"Well in a few days or so those three Falkens will be retired from service. And hold on, I know you guys are probaly thinking 'What the?' But we are getting three new Mobile suits that are perfect for your skills. I assure you."

"I trust your opinion but are you sure this will be the right thing?"Itsuki was not afraid to speak, but he always agreed in a way that he didn't say he said yes or no.

- Roberto, just north of Taiwan -

Roberto's repaired and rearmed Gilgazamune was speeding towards the island and the Taipei base at 500 mph as he raced to catch up with the drop operation which was just now getting underway. If he timed it right, he would get there just as the rest of the force was.

- Drop pod and Gunboat team -

The rough part of the trip was over. Or at least the rough part where they wouldn't be shot at.
Both the pods and Gunboats had completed atmospheric re-entry without any problems and were now descending on the Taipei base with only one goal: The total destruction of the base and all Federation forces stationed there.

As the drop pods slowed and split open they would reveal their GN-X cargo within. Half of the total of 60 units were the original GN-X and were to fly close escort for the Gunboats in pairs, but 10 were GN-XII units equipped with a large GN beam cannon or a large GN sword on their shoulder (5 of each). The remaining 20 were brand new GN-XIII units with their maroon and gray paint jobs shining in the afternoon sun as they brandished their GN lances and prepared to engage the mobile suits stationed at the base.

--Slug and Antonio--

"There we go!"

Standing in the hangar on braces, the Ex-S Gundam gets resupplied with external tanks, just about ready to cruise for almost half-a-day to Andorra. Of course, it's also fully loaded for combat---Slug's purpose, after all, is to get that Hummingbird to land in safety.

"I just want to see what the Federation is up to next," Antonio says, chillin' in the sun, curious as to where these other Federation guys would go.

--ZetaPlus Team--

The surviving five are on the runways taking off. They head towards Tokyo again, their prime responsibility. Only Rachel had to drag them out so far down south Pacific; it's likely a one-time deal. The five units head NNE.

"Confidence comes from being able to stand on your own in battle. A lack of confidence comes from worrying that you'll be in danger to the point where someone has to bail you out; which relates to a lack of training. And if you call her charge after your old 'friend' confidence, then one of us is wrong on the definition of the word. That was anger and grief over you being killed by him." He knew that from experience. "Which makes me wonder... Do you even care about her?"

-Excalibur-

Something odd came up on radar... "Wha... GN Particle interference...?" The radar officer thought for a moment and realized what was happening. "Radio the Commander and Lyon and get them back here ASAP! We're under attack!!!" The Communications officer sent a message to Luna's PDA to warn her of the attack and get them back to the ship, while an alarm rang throughout the ship alerting the pilots.

-Luna & Lyon-

A beeping sound came from Luna's pocket. "Wha... I told them not to send spam to my..." She pulled it out and read the message when her expression changed to show the seriousness of the situation. "It seems we're soon to be under attack. I'd suggest getting to your machines as quickly as possible. Major Reese, your machine should still be on board, so please come with us..." Of course, Lyon was already out the door after hearing Luna's statement, running back to the Excalibur to retrieve her machine. "... I mean, please come with me."

--Taipei base--

--Rachel and Taylor--

Rachel can only smile a bit as she was acknowledged by the other officers. The girls were greeted with respect. Pleasantries couldn't last, however, because...

~5 mins. later~

The crew of Excalibur exited the room rather quickly, and asked the other major to cooperate. As they left, Taylor turns to Rachel and says flatly, "They say we're getting raided. I know you're tired, but you might want to try to avoid being bombed." With that Taylor follows Luna and goes for her mecha.

Rachel didn't even have time to respond. No reason for me to not believe them. She walks hurriedly into her mecha, which turned to flat-out running as the Taipei base's own warning sirens start to pop off and follow Excalibur's suit. "Outta the way! She'll be fine!" Shouts Rachel to the maintenance crew, whose third bit has a molten foot. At the very least, all the weapons were recharged.

--Slug and Antonio--

"What the hell man, already?" Antonio grumbles, hearing the siren.

Slug thought about this for a few seconds, then... "Go. Just go, Antonio, gogogogo! Get outta here!"

"But..."

"It's fast enough right?"

"Yeah..."

"Gogogogogo!" Slug claps his hand in front of Antonio, telling him to hurry is ass up and get the Hummingbird out of harms way.

"AAAAAHHH!!!" Antonio quickly jumps in the cockpit, and starts the OS, frantically trying to get the thing up in the air and become uncatchable.

The order had come down and it was time to defend this place. It seemed the enemy was using a typical drop operation which begged the question, what the hell was the Federation space fleet doing out there? Letting enemy drop ships get in position over a base was unquestionably stupid... And it was now up to them to fix this little problem by killing all enemy units.

The Testament booted up with the typical G.U.N.D.A.M. operating system showing. The cockpit was identical to the kind found on the Freedom. The 'Cockroach' Gundam stepped out onto the launch catapult and was fired into the sky as the flight pack lifted him into the sky.

"This is Ensign Heron and I am in position to intercept. We have GN-X type units, an unknown attack fighter, and what appears to be new model GN-X types." His communications were unaffected by GN particles due to the Mirage Virus Emitter antenna which allowed him to broadcast wirelessly not only viruses but messages even in the thickest interference. His stealth system was on as he attempted to coordinate the defenses using his multi-lock targeting system. Enemy positions relayed to ground defenses would help focus fire on the enemy instead of just blindly firing away.

The Testament had turned to a white/gray color scheme showing that it was in long-range mode as it used its own unique abilities to watch the battlefield. Once the enemy got close enough he could turn his Beam cannon and beam pistol on the GN-Xs but until then he was content to coordinate.

-Lyon-

She made it to the ship well ahead of the other two and reached her Gundam, completely oblivious to the conversation going on in front of her. Once she starts up her machine however, she notices their presence and carefully steps over them and maneuvers out of the hangar and takes a defensive position near the ship.

-Dagger Squad-

The two Dagger Ls aboard quickly filed out of the hangar after Lyon, one of them waiting by the entrance of the base to carry Luna and Taylor to the ship, the other standing guard in case the enemies start shooting.

-GM Custom-

A GM Custom also left the hangar and took a defensive position by the ship with Lyon, standing ready in case the attack comes before the ship is airborne.

-Luna-

The two soon exit the building, greeted by the Dagger waiting with it's hand extended. "We'd best hurry... who knows when they'll start shooting." She soon climbed onto the Dagger's hand and the machine waited for Taylor to climb on.

Silver Knights

as Claus returned to the Avalon he saw the Lancelot leaving the catapult and the Tristan taking the next position. He boarded his own machine to see Jennefer entering the hanger in a tank top and PT shorts as he inserted his key.

Clare Rosewater

Clare readied her VARIS and raised it up as the Hadron cannon on her shoulder folded out and connected to the rifle. She boosted skyward and swept the powerful cannon across part of the incoming fleet. the crimson and black beam sweeping across the blue sky.

((What are you shooting at that's so close to the water, Gai?))

As the attack force broke through the lowest cloud cover they could see the Federation base preparing for battle as quickly as they could with one Gundam type machine leading the initial counterattack forces and what looked like another one trying desperately to escape the area.

"Ignore that one unless it decides to come back, our objective is what's at the base." said the leader of the GN-XIII squadron which were now in formation themselves of 5 teams of four units each.

"Team 3, engage that Gundam currently coming at us, Team 4 back them up if they need it. Team 5, deal with the units that take off from that Pegasus class ship and assist the Jinx II units in its destruction. Teams 1 and 2 are with me. We'll engage the local riff-raff."

Various acknowledgment signals came back the the Jinx III teams set to work at the anti-MS tasks they're assigned to.

The Gunboats meanwhile were now coming in on the base itself with their nose beam guns creating a hailstorm of fire that rained down over the entire base. After about 30 seconds of this, they too split off into teams with their Jinx escorts staying close as they armed their warhead launchers and began firing "torpedoes" and rockets at the various buildings and hangers that they came across with three of the Gunboats and their escorts making a direct run on the Excalibur and three more on a similar run at the Avalon.

- Roberto -

What little emotion that he had now began to surface as he was becoming annoyed that the party had started without him. Arming the missile launcher he targeted the command center of the base and fired a single Type SIM-96 MLC missile directly at it as he continued to close in on the base.
