The stalemate between the two pilots was starting to shift in favor of the GN-X. Zaine knew the deadlock would get ugly if it continued, so doing his best to maintain the hold, he sent Tallis a message.
Tallis, if possible, i'd like you to fire a beam shot at the GN-X. Don't move, just fire. No need to worry about me, i'll get clear when I know the blast will hit him.
Byakuya was starting to get bored with the stalemate, though something about the pilot seemed familiar. Who... An odd feeling told him it would be good to turn this around now, so he boosted forward to try and overpower the Huckbein.
"Fei-yen?" Rena had never heard of Virtual-On, so she didn't know what the Fei-yen was, but at least he'd think her offer over. *sigh* "... Well, I'm glad you'll consider my offer... see you later." much to Kylern's surprise, She planted a playful kiss on his cheek before running off towards her dorm.

The baryon blast, thanks to the locality of the suits to the ships hull, was deflected by the GN shields. The Radiation wave, however, was taken full brunt by the Ikarus being targeted. Again, such an attack was pointless due to the altered biology of the crew of the ship. The missiles too impacted the GN field of the Ptoley.
The Ptoley, however, wasn't going to sit idly by as it's suits were targeted by Fandom assailants. One of the missile batteries opened up and launched one GN missile each at the team. Once they approached their target, they seemingly blew apart, revealing several hundred total dart like projectiles hurtling at the Icer team.

Kylern almost said something but was stopped dead in his tracks as she playfully kissed him on the cheek before running off. He just sort of stood there slowly turning a shade of red as the mobile terminal on his arm made a note of the increased heart rate. He didn't know what to say or what to do next as she had already left the hangar leaving him looking like a complete idiot.
"This universe keeps getting more interesting by the week..." A few mechanics glanced at him with a shake of their heads thinking of him as a completely idiot for letting that moment go. Finally though he caught their stares on his back and spinning around opened his mouth to say something snappy but found nothing coming out. He just became tight lipped again and walked away feeling embrassed at this whole moment. Maybe he really was the master of crash and burn... As an old friend had told him while they sat in the basement listening to music in highschool, 'You live you learn, then you crash and burn'.
"I need a drink..." He muttered walking off to find something new to get into to.
Chris was expecting the hit and run tactics by now and was able to dodge one while the other was stopped by the G-Territory. Fortune was also on Chris's side as the barrier was still up and while it wasn't fully omni-directional, it did take the edge off of the blasts fired by the Xeku Funf. ((Talk about a mess to type and spell right every time.))
"Aw, what is this, gang up on the funny one day?"
Turning he found a large blue unit closing in on him. Deciding to go in close on his opponent, he counter charged the machine and as he got close, turned on the beam edge and made a diagonal swipe (his lower left to upper right) at the Fandom mech.
At the same time, a group of four Z'Gok mobile suits was unwittingly helping the DC pilot as they found the unknown to them machine loitering about and fired off three torpedoes each and the Innovator Gundam.
"I'm reading... lots of mecha units in the air, the Island is getting trashed, and 2 ships," Slug mentions, reading the data from the AWACS sent to his machine. The sixteen units are less than 100km away, and they intend on firing at both sides. Then...
"An unknown ship is firing at both DC units and Fandom units..."
"Haha, oh wow," Rachel replies sarcastically, "The Fandom plan surely is F^%*@#$ them over when there are three factions just dying to take control of this isle."
"In any case, Divine Crusaders might just be more pissed than the Fandom is at us at the moment. Engage cautiously; watch those unidentified units, we don't know what their motives are just yet."
The fast aerial units decide to speed and finally make their move and make their presence known, and just as they did the communications slowly started to get worse. Aw hell facial reactions could be felt by the Federation pilots. The Major would like a word with the unidentified units, but it seems impossible at the moment.
Slug was deciding to pick off his targets. Strong DC units for epic duels, or picking off little KMF rats with long range cannons? Hmm...
The Tactical officer spoke up as alarm warnings on his holoscreens soon began to surround the station..quite comically in fact. Pushing the 'popups' out of the way, he called out the status of the shield output for the vessel.
"Heading, we're beginning to overtax the capacitor. She's dangerously close to running on raw drive power.. again."
Heading watched out the window as the shield began to shift the visible spectrum toward the blue side, denoting that the shield was soon reaching it's breaking point.
Damn, the prepared forcasts said that this was possible.. Interventions have never had THIS result. Innovators never make mistakes..
"Heading! The Capacitor-"
"Incomming MS! Unknow- Wait, they're putting up Federal IFFs!"
Heading sighed and set her jaw as a scowl formed on her face.
"Disperse the shield. Recall Enlight!"
"We can't, we're too close to the GN field on the island to have any effective transmission medium."
"Well, use Lasers!"
"The Bhayas is under water..Like I said.."
It was now that the stress of the battle was getting to Heading. Usually it was a one sided affair, and never two. Not to mention the fact that they had never had an engagement this large since they arrived. They needed that Whysp drive. If the fact that they had already lost more than half of their MS compliment in combat wasn't enough proof..now this was.
"Incomming!"
More fire from the remaining Gel Dolla's finally broke through the shield, smoke and shrapnel denoting strikes against the outer hull of the ship.
Heading could only yell a curse, and curse herself internally.

It was then that something crossed her mind in her inconsolable state of rage. It was something Mikhail had once said before they arrived in this world.
Though we aren't human, we are fallible. Veda can only assist us from making costly mistakes.
Heading clutched her head as the ship rocked again.
"Enlight.."
She then slammed her fist on the arm of the couch.
"Take us down into the GN cloud! If we can't use the shield, then at least we can rely on our armor for the time being.."
The Ptoley then began to descend, slipping into the red light over the island as it's shield finally faded in a shower of sparkles.

Enlight meanwhile was having the time of her life, at least until the Z'Gok units showed up. The Torpedoes only appeared on her sensors moments before impact, giving her only moments to throw up the gauntlet shields. the torpedoes impacted the back and shoulder before the shields went up, causing the suit to creak and shudder as Enlight tried to recover. Bringing both rifles to bear, she targeted the chest of one of the Z'Goks and charged a pair of shots at the groin and forehead of the suit where she assumed the torpedoes were stored.
"Just try that again, fool.."

Phyllis used the Fang limbs to block the slash with a pair of beam sabers in a scissor lock, the advantages of four arms now coming to fruition. With a smirk, she raises her rifle and fires at the torso of Chris' suit.
"Mmm, not too smart there, buddy.."

Kitty, meanwhile, was being doused with the wave action of the ocean; more annoying than it being a threat. She was immune to hypothermia and sun damage for the most part after all. In between the crashes of thew waves, she thought she spotted a mobile suit flying toward her. At first, she thought it was just another suit on an attack run..

The majority of the Fandom units are focused on that ship... And their best is fighting the Divine Crusaders... "Hmph! There's quite a few people that I expected but didn't show up" Rachel says as she gets ahead of the fleet for the initial charge-in.
She sees the easiest prey---a Gundam lookalike and a GN-X unit in a lock. Not just ANY GN-X unit---the one that attacked her alone awhile back! Perfect.
"Gooo, Airmasters!" ~NTflash~
By then, her three ever-obedient newtype weapons started to fly erratically* and spam beam fire on both the Huckebein and the GN-X....
--Slug--
Slug, with his G-Cruiser, follows suit and gets ahead, but still not engaged.
The 11 other units continue to fly towards but has not yet made any offensive moves. While the eleven lag way further behind, the Duskraiders follow Slug's path towards the messy aerial mecha combat, but the ZetaPlus units steer toward the isle and bombard the facilities, anyways.
After all, taking control of this isle is a pretty good outpost to attack both Hawaii and Aidoneus.

"Get my Akatsuki ready for combat. I just might have to jump in sooner or later," Taylor calls in as the crew members try to clear the launch pad on Excalibur. (Keep note, they're still a few hundred km away)

Although the shot to the groin of the one machine wasn't a critical hit, the impact to the head was and send the machine reeling from the blast and broke off in an attempt to regain control, though even if its pilot survived, the unit was out of the battle.
The remaining three continued their attack with three more torpedoes each at Enlight's mobile suit.

Chris was cursing himself for not seeing the extra pair of arms sooner as the lone beam shot blasted his Huckebein backwards and falling towards the water.
Regaining control at the last moment, Chris pulled out of his fall and was now hovering near the surface.
Damn. That nearly got me. She's got the edge on me in close too.
Lacking any better options, Chris started flying backwards toward the Valhalla while firing railgun shots so that Phyl couldn't follow him too closely without being hit.
- Red Eagle -
"Thanks, Wan." Charles said as much to himself as actually Wan as his units kept the Ikarus units busy while he continued ahead toward the stern of the ship.
Reaching his destination, he took aim at what looked to be the engine block and fired off the last three shots from the dobergun before ejecting the empty cartridge and placing the spare he had mounted on the inside of the shield into the weapon.
Spiralling around the Legend's beam fire, Jacob drew closer to the dark Gundam. Still firing his assault rifle as a distraction, Jacob brought the Cold Metal Sword into the ready position, still in its sheath on the left arm.
As he closed to about 100m, he fired off the under-slung grenade at the Legend. Using its explosion as a cover he replaced the rifle on the rear skirt armour and drew the solid sword and made a backhand slash at the Legend.

For her part Sara kept up the barrage at the Legend. She fired three more double shots at the imposing, dark coloured mobile suit.
-Metal Armours-
Team 4
As the missile they missed detonated over the island, the Dragoons and Gelf of team four moved out to open water to escape the more damaging effects of the dense mass of particles released.
One of the Dragoon pilots sent a message to Hendrik. "Sir, I'm picking up incoming mobile suits. They're Federation!"
"Tch, that's all we need. Commander we have incoming!"
Juuso Eljas
Seeing the unknown ship's shields effortlessly tank their missiles, and slip away, Juuso acknowledge Hendrik's message. "Understood Ensign. Team 2, assist Major Gordon. Teams 1, 3 and 4 with me."
With that 15 Dragoons, the Jagd and Reb Gelfs and the Falguen all urned toward the incoming Federation airforce. All 18 Armours fire two missiles each at the Zeta Plus and Airmaster units. (not Rachel)
Team 2
Splitting off from the others, Dan and 5 Dragoons Charged the Ikarus suits and drew their laser swords, slashing to bisect the GN suits surrounding their 'leader'.
The heavy GN disruption in the area is a very annoying nuisance indeed---communications are junky at best. They would have known earlier that they have been fired upon if the GN presence wasn't there---but it still detected anyway.
The missile fire were a bit off (thanks to the unknown ship's GN infulence) ---but the Duskraiders would still have to take action. "Evasive action, Duskraiders!" They bobbed and weaved through the projectiles, with some getting hit. D2 and D4 gets hit in the arm and their leg respectively, but tough luna titanium alloy keeps them going. D3, however, gets hit in the kneejoint, having its entire right leg blown off in the process. "AAAHH!"
In return, the Duskraiders fired back with their own pair of missiles at the Metal Armours (that's 10 missiles total), plus their beam rifle fire spammed, all targeted on the three frontmost Metal Armors.
--ZetaPlus AX2 units--
These guys from Japan are a lot less fancy and more serious business as they immediately all transformed into MS mode and started locking and shooting every missile in their path with beam cannons and the beam rifle.
In the end, some would still have to take evasive action---two units (Z5, Z6) had to break away for awhile to get away from missiles not shot down, while the rest kept going towards the island.
ZetaPlus 1 (Z1) is a particular badass as he used two beam sabers to intercept missiles coming at him, but still keeps going with the other four.
"Attack!" Said the leader in Japanese as the four ZetaPlus units unloaded everything onto the runways, hangars, whatever weapons still on the ground and whatever's still standing---no mercy. After all, that was the original intent, right?
--Slug--
"Well that's not very nice; we haven't even done anything to your island yet!" Slug comments as he transforms into the Ex-S Gundam, and wastes no time getting the smartgun plugged into the reactor. At long range, he snipes Metal Armors one by one, lobbing a beam from the 56-MW beam smartgun on their torso, targeting the grunt armors that were attacking the ZetaPlus units.

With another 2-on-1 Maria gets shifted to a defensive position. The grenade exploded in Maria's beam shield, knocking her Gundam off balance. Still, her reflexes are quick enough and manages to draw the
beam saber from her left hand and block and parry the metal sword slash.
However, simultaneous attacks are a bitch as the Wildfalken scores a hit on Legend's back, disabling one of the DRAGOONs that pivot on her right side and gets thrown off -balance and down to the waters below, crashing...
The incoming missiles veered of seconds before hitting the Dragoons, their guidance systems defeated by their built in jammers. The beam fire was also dodged due to some impressive aerial acrobatics. Still, with the crossfire from the Ex-S, three Dragoons lost legs.
The Metal armours retaliated with their rail-cannons, fire long bursts of plasma ammunition in an effort to cut through the armour of the aerial Mobile Suits.
As Gordon would make his way toward the stern of the ship, he'd meet up with a nasty surprise as the port launch tubes for the missiles were still active and after having launched the 'cluster' missiles at Icer team, gladly obliged with opening up a close range shot at the Tallgeese as he tried to reload. The shots he fired, however, hit their mark, chunks of armor coming off and rippled armor plating coming loose from the impact.
The Ikarus lead, seeing this, gave a smug look before his sensors picked up a heat signature within the GN cloud. Thankfully, the TD'd drives still had the ability that Tau units did not and could 'see' (if one wanted to call it that) through the field. It wasn't much to speak of, but the boosted output of the sensor array gave enough contrast on his radar to show him that he was going to have a laser sword up his butt in 5 seconds..
So, with a growl he turned, only to find that his sensors had miscalculated the distance of the enemy Dragoon. It's saber cut into the gauntlet as he tried to activate it; the collector on the arm blowing apart and having the nasty effect of discharging the entire capacitor on the arm in the direction of the Dragoon, in essence creating a giant beam spray gun that took the right forearm with it.
The others had fared better, some dodging and one even attempting a rifle shot at the dragoon as he ducked toward the deck. Meanwhile, the CWIS units were plugging away at the enemy units, targets now switched to the Dragoons and unloading rapid GN fire at the suits.
-Enlight-
As Enlight recovered, she found another volley of torpedoes on their way. With a smirk and a huff, she decided to play chicken with the underwater missiles. As they approached the suit however, it was clear that her GN jamming was NOT working on these suits. She only could only throw up her shields as the torpedoes impacted, bubbles obscuring both suits from each other.
She decided to use this chance to close the distance even more and drove straight through the bubble mass at the nearest Z'Gok with an attempted point blank shot to it's exposed cockpit hatch.

With that, the extra arms wielding the sabers [/i]detached[/i] from the main body and rocketed off to intercept the Huckbein. The sabers in thier 'hands' would soon be pretty..handy. They doubled as GN beam guns, the insane speed and maneuverability of the remote bits becoming evident as they were soon flanking the Huckbein and targeting it's binders; pelting it with beam fire. Phyl, meanwhile charged after Chris and opened up with 3 shot volley of GN beam fire.

Tallis raised the rifle and aiming with some hesitance at the twoand fired a beam of Yellow Energy lance toward the two.

Sume Gai
The Black and gold Alt had a bit of a chore recovering Kitty it had to precisely Lift out of the water picking up Kitty While doing so. It may have been a bit rough for her but Gai managed to lift her out and begin a short 'flight' to the Valhalla. During which Gai bought the hand to the cockpit hatch and opened it. He had for convenience sake removed the mask but Kitty whom he had never met face to face was unlikely to recognize him anyway.
Gai reached out and offered her a hand into the cockpit.
"Kitty? What's going on here I thought you were with Mike? on that ship?"
Wan Fey Lo/Icer team
The Ptolemy Crew were making light of the four and would find that out very quickly. three units were protected by their radiation shields and the Shen-hu by it's spinning Slash Harken.
the four changed their target to the ship weaving nimbly the Akatsukis fire another two radiation missiles, Which upon impact would Discharge a high volume of radiation energy designed to destroy any electronic devices the embed them selves in. Wan himself attack one of the missile batteries with a radiation wave while the Shen-hu attack another, the one targeting The red eagle, with it's Baryon cannon.

He shut off the Tesla Drive to drop clear of the blast right when it looked like he was about to get hit. "Looks like you're out of luck, GN-X pilot!" He shouted before reactivating said mechanism to stop his freefall while swapping the sword for the rifle, which also allowed him to dodge the GW Bits shots, and let loose a volley of photon shots at the GN-X's right arm, almost knowing he'd try to evade.

"What?!" He shouted in confusion as the Huckbein dropped toward the ocean for almost no reason, that is until the alarms warned him of the Weissritter's beam attack.
A joint attack? now I'm sure...
He tried to evade, but ended up flying right into Zaine's photon shots, which cost him the GN-X's right arm, throwing him off-balance, allowing the Weissritter's attack to obliterate the left arm. The joint attack would've worked, but fire from the GW Bits had completely disrupted the attack, allowing Byakuya to escape completely unscathed.
He turns toward the attacker, and recognizes the weapons as a similar make to the Airmaster he fought before. With their appearance, a question went to the two DC pilots. "How about a temporary truce until we run those things off?"
"Okay" said Zangetsu as he walked towards the bridge and motioned for lowind to follow him. It only took a few momments to get there; he entered and saluted the Captain. "Sir we have a pilot from the Fandom wishing to join our forces." he said and motioned to show him Lowind. "He is an exceptional fighter and has a powerful mech as well."
The Valhalla in a defensive stance required little beyond ODIN's control this left it's captain free to handle the battle and/or the running of the ship. Thus he was able to respond to Zangetsu.
"WHAT?"
Hallen focused his gaze on the fandom pilot and asked
"and we should trust you why?"

Tallis was a bit cautious about the message. It seemed rather odd but nonetheless they would have to deal with the attackers soon enough. even as she fire a solid slug at two of their heads, she sent a message to Zaine.

When he read Tallis' message, He grinned slightly as he sent a reply.
I don't know how, but there's something about him that makes the offer seem worth it. besides, he may return the favor later.
Zaine turned to the GW-Bits and and fired off defensive shots at said units and replied to the GN-X. "I'll go with whatever my friend decides."

Byakuya was far too busy using his GN Defense Rods to block the GW-Bits fire he couldn't dodge and dodging anything else to even try attacking when he heard the Mk. II's reply. He nodded as he stayed on the defensive and waited for the Weissritter to respond.
Kitty was quiet as she stood on the hand and stepped inside the cockpit, flight suit soaking wet and her helmet missing. She kicked the dead haro unit into a back corner of the cockpit space while she slid beside Gai. As the pair began their return trip to the Val, she finally spoke.
"Michael made a mistake. And it cost hi-..us dearly."

The radiation wave shot to the missile battery would prove disheartening, but still fruitful in the end. With the scale of the shot, Wan would find that his blast only dented the missile battery blast cover. Seared white paint now shimmered a glossy yellow. The Bayron cannon fire, though proved more effective this time. The cannon shot impacted and blew the cover right off of the battery, taking the forward tubes with it. Luckily these were already emptied, but with the destruction of these tubes, the un-armed GN missiles that still were held tumbled out of the tube into the water below..totally useless as the battery began to tear open even more from the chunks of metal waving in the ether.
The CIWS, though, made mincemeat of the missiles, blowing them up long before they could reach the ship thanks to their AI control. The explosion would occur quite close in fact to the Akatsuki's as they were still being targeted at that point by the CIWS.
"We've lost #2 Battery ma'am! #1 has a jammed hatch. We're down to two batteries now, ma'am!"
Heading growled and decided that now it was time to do something a little more drastic.
"How's the capicator?"
"We didn't blow it.. but we've only got a 37% charge left. That shield wo-"
"Can we still pressurize?"
"Sure."
Heading then moved over to the helm controls, looking over at the hull integrity and naviational controls.
"Just barely.."
The helm officer looked up.
"What?"
"Take her down hard. If those shots were beam based, we'd have a better chance under water.."
"Aye."
The Ptoley then, on that cue began to pitch down and descend toward the water.
