The Messiah floated for a bit while Kyle vented his depression until it became clear that the Federation was getting closer to his position. There was no way he would be captured at this point of the game and started to plug in the coordinates for the Salvation.

After waiting for the fold drive to warm up he sat quietly with the Active Stealth system up to prevent being detected. Then once it was done he transformed into battleroid mode and vanished into foldspace. Hopefully that girl he tried to help remembered him.

"Hmm.." Aiden was agian sitting in the cockpit of the Phantoma. He didn't have much to do on the ship for awhile, and just recently he saw that Ryder fellow leave the ship. He was wondering if there was anything else interesting on the ship and decided that he should head up to the bridge to see if he could find something to do.

The VF-25S de-folded near the Salvation without its Full Armor pack meaning something had happened during his time gone. A laser guidance system reached out to the Messiah and began to help the AI pull it in because the pilot had seemingly stopped piloting the machine.

-Bridge-

"This is control, why have you stopped responding?"

-Kyle-

No response from Ryder as he continued to sit there motionless trying to wrap his brain around what happened. That psycho had his sister and he had just been behind that metal hull somewhere. He could have saved her but instead he almost got a face full of ship mounted beam cannon. He had failed as a brother and as a soldier.

-Bridge-

"His vitals seems fine but he's not reponding to us. Have a team ready when he comes in just in case." The order was given and a small squad of marines were waiting in the hangar for the Messiah to touch down.

-Kyle-

And of course it did eventually safely land in the hangar bay. The AI wheeled the machine into its proper position and the cockpit was opened up revealing a Ryder who seemed zombified. He wasn't moving, wasn't talking, just sitting there. Anyone who had lost someone close would probably notice it was intense grief he was suffering from.

-Marines-

"Bridge we have found Lt.commdr Ryder and he appears to be fine except for the fact he's upset."

-Bridge-

"Got it. Just leave him alone for now. He shall give a report later on about what happened." The Marines got the message and left the Messiah to sit there alone for now.

Mai and her Jegan lifeboat were dragged into the Clop’s Hanger, where once secured, Armed guards and medical personnel stood watch as Engineers reopened the hatch. What they found was not what they had suspected. Not a booby-trap or an injured Federation pilot, but the sobbing form of a young woman in a patchwork spacesuit. The Guards and medics were confused, but the engineers and mechanics could recognise one of their own.

The Mechanics were the ones to reach in and help Mai out of the cockpit and guide her to the ship’s sickbay with the guards following behind. As she was checked out, she recounted her story. Everything from finding the Jegan and it’s wounded pilot, to the Mysterious Ryder and his life saving warning. She broke down crying again when she reached the part about Henry Goffreed’s selfless attempt to save her from the Fandom Corporal.

Mai, with her story told and the ship’s doctor attempting to console her as she sobbed, waited for someone in charge to show up. Someone who could tell her what she was supposed to do now.

An hour later the HLV had reached the point where it would drop off the two Gundams. Nearby was the rest of the DC fleet waiting for them.

"Okay, they're right where they're supposed to be. Let's go over and say hello." Wingnut radioed Hellbore as he moved the Wing Zero out of the compartment and into open space where he then proceeded toward the fleet.

- Earth Orbit -

:: Altitude registered at 8700 kilometers. All systems functioning normally. Preparations for decent operation now complete.[/I]

The spherical cockpit of the mobile armor Cattleya was filled with the soft light of the Earth below. The majestic beauty of the planet’s surface was not lost on its pilot. However, there was not now sufficient time to admire it.

:: Destination: Nineteen degrees eighteen minutes north, one-sixty-six degrees thirty-eight minutes east. Designation: Wake Island. Calculating approach angle trajectory.

Holographic windows appeared and disappeared in front of the young woman, displaying various amounts of data pertaining to the mobile armor’s systems and status. She was not required to read them, however. All this data and more was already being transmitted to her brain via the implants in Kayla Ryder’s cerebral cortex.

She let out a long breath. “It’s time.”

:: Approach angle, trajectory verified. Commencing decent.

A slight shuddering could be heard as the armor’s powerful rocket engines burned for several seconds, propelling the vessel forward. As it moved, the nose of the mobile armor slightly dropped, angling it down towards the planet’s surface.

:: Now entering within the mesosphere. Breaker field emitters coming online.

As the Cattleya cleared the exosphere and entered the mesosphere, the soft blue planet light was replaced with a fiery orange hue. Then came the vibrations. Even the massive mobile armor was not without subject to the atmosphere’s jarring effects. However, Kayla witnessed a flash of orange lighting that surrounded the armor, and the shuddering all at once were brought to a stop as the Breaker Field came online to shield the massive armor.

:: Instantaneous velocity calculated at eight-seven-five kilometers per minute. G-force dampeners operating within satisfactory limits. ETA at destination estimated eleven minutes.

A new window appeared next to the young woman, displaying a static-y image of Zephyr, cloak and all. “The Gundam team has already engaged our forces at wake island.” he said. “Reconnisance shows that their forces have been divided into two teams. This is your chance to reduce their force strength to less than half of what it is now.”

Kayla squeezed her right hand into a fist. “I know that.”

She opened her hand again and extended her arm out in front of her. Then, she closed her eyes.

“Show me that you’re up to the task… Cattleya!”

-Hellbore-

Just behind the Zero, Hellbore eased the Freedom out of the hanger and into space. Easing the thrusters open, he moved toward the DC fleet no to far from where they were.

As he drew close, he spotted what was obviously the flagship. He opened a comm channel and said, "This is Hellbore of the Gundam Team, Requesting permission to land."

"Roger, Hellbore," came the reply, "you are cleared to land on the flagship, Macht. Welcome back to space."

"Roger, and thanks, it's good to be back."

Making his way to the hanger, Hellbore eased the Freedom into the opening and took a free space he was directed to. Powering down the suit, he rode the chair up and out of the cockpit, and undid the straps holding him down.

-Stealth Frigate Salvation-

On the bridge the crew sat there as they waited for orders by the taskforce commander, whoever that was. This flagship never even seemed to acknowlege their presence in this group despite being called from a previous operation to join this party.

The 250meter ship belonging to the Wolf's Dragoon team hung closer to the front of the pack due to its nature as a scout ship and one of the only two vessels in this fleet that could use the Fold Engine. It was painted in a midnight blue to reduce visibly in the blackness of space. It was a beauty to its crew and the small wing of fighters assigned to it.

The Captain watched as it seemed a transport vessel was coming towards the fleet and from it two Gundams were deployed. The computers took a quick picture and spit out data showing them as the Wing Zero and Freedom from the Gundam team. The man scratched his beard and relaxed back into his seat.

"Now why would two members of that famous unit be up here in the black?" He asked himself outload as everyone looked back at him as he spoke. But nobody answered him since none of them had a clue what was going on either. "I want Ryder out of his funk and ready for whats to come next. I want everyone on this ship prepared to move out as well as all the fighters outfitted for battle."

One of the bridge officers contacted the hangar and relayed the message.

-Ryder-

He heard the message and gave a sigh. "Seems like there isn't even any time to grief." He was still upset obviously as he exited his fighter which was taxied away and refitted with a spare FAP. The whole hangar was alive now as people tried to get everything ready for what could be a new campaign out here in space.

Kyle just headed for the Lounge in order to get himself something to drink from a machine and relax while he could. He needed a shower and a nap actually... But that would come later as for now he was still in his flight suit, minus the EX-GEAR and helmet that was back with he fighter. His hair was showing signs of graying now which was telling of his stress level. His father had been gray by this age too but it didn't help the stinging fact that he was aging way to quickly. He was only in his 20s... He hadn't been married, except to his fighter plane, no kids, and now his only family was being used by some nutcase DSK on a ship he couldn't locate.

"I'll kill that bastard when I find him. Nothing in this universe, not even god will stop me." This curse came out as he stood in front of the vending machine with his fist against the machine. His forehead was pressed against the plastic with pictures of the drinks on it. He had to force himself to no bleed tears as pain bore down on his heart. Only death could ease his suffering it seemed.

The reason Hellbore made it to the Macht first was because Wingnut was taking the opportunity to enjoy the view of Earth from space. It was likely to be the last chance to just look for a while so he made the most of it.

Soon after Hellbore landed, Wingnut made to do the same and touched down in the hanger deck of the ship himself and exited his Gundam as well.

Lt. Colonel Lily Junkers sat in the captain's chair and watched the two Gundams arrive on a small monitor. With them we just might be able to make ourselves a significant power in space again.

The order came through the communications that it was time to move. The Captain smiled and gave the order to launch. "Lower output on the sublight engines in order to not leave the rest of the battle group. Remember crew we aren't out there on our own but as a fleet. We have to think about the protection of the whole before ourselves, but should it come to sacrificing for the fleet... I'll leave you all to make that decision." He laughed a little at this idea knowing that nobody on this crew had enough loyalty to the DC to sacrifice their ship for them. They could easily outrun any ship out here since the max sublight speed this vessel could reach was .20 the speed of light. They could opt out of any fight that they wanted just like they normally did.

"Sir our long range radar is up as well as well as our subspace mass sensors. We are currently scanning enough space to detect anything coming towards the fleet." The radar specialist said as a map of space was projected on a screen showing their position as well as that of other mass objects within their range.

"Good, data link with the flagship and give them real-time intelligence. Our sensors are more advance then the ships native to this universe. Hopefully we can show our worth to this group as an early warning vessel." The officer gave a 'Yes Sir' and the information was streamed to the flagship.

The Captain sat there wondering what the DC was looking for with a fleet this big. Neither the Fandom nor the Federation would be stupid enough to launch an attack on this fleet so either this was a seek and destroy mission or they were just looking for something in hostile territory. The later made sense since a large fleet would ensure protection... But of course it made them a target for those tempted to make a sneak attack. Too bad for them with the Salvation here a sneak attack was close to impossible. They would be discovered before they could get into firing range. The Captain was fairly certain this would go pretty easy but just to be certain he had already made sure the mechs aboard were outfitted for combat.

((Long post incoming.))

- Raven Sterling, Fandom mobile weapon R&D mobile colony -

The beauty of such a facility was that it was able to change position while still maintaining the full capabilities of both an advanced R&D lab and a housing complex for those that worked there that offered all the comforts of home.

It was here at some point in Lagrange point 5 ahead of the moon's orbit that the Dominance had docked to both drop off the Eternal Engine for study and to pick up a new flight group that included the Fandom's own version of the Federation's infamous Gundams.

After handing off the Engine under the tightest security, Raven was on her way to one of the hangers where the pilots were supposed to be waiting for her.
Entering the hanger she spotted two people near the feet of the three Gundams parked there. They also spotted her.

"Who's that?" asked the girl to her male companion.

"I think that's Raven Sterling." he replied.

"She's going to like this even less than we do."

Raven had been close enough to hear the last comment and was curious as to what she had meant.

"And just what is it that I'm not going to like? Miss..."

"Trinity. Nena Trinity." she replied with a much more subdued tone than what the Mecha Talk members would be familiar with.

"And I am her brother, Johann."

"Trinity, you say? But there's only two of you."

"That's the part you're not going to like." chimed in Nena.

"Our brother, Michael was killed on the way over to this colony to pick up the Gundams. Such a stupid act too." said Johann

"We got jumped by a Feddie patrol and he decided to try and play the hero himself and take them all on himself." Nena added.

"He kicked another pilot out of his GN-X and took it out himself. He got ahead of the rest of the mobile suit team and was cut down by one of those sniper type suits the Feds have. I don't think he even got a kill before he died." finished Johann.

"He always was looking for a fight and was always so impatient." Nena said as she clenched her fists. "And now the baka went and got his ass shot off before we could even get started together!"

"Got his ass shot off! Got his ass shot off!" came the robotic voice from the previously ignored purple Haro unit as Nena's feet.

"You be quiet!" Nena cried out as she stomped her boot down on the spherical robot, effectively silencing it for now.

Raven stood by taking all of this in as she felt a bit sorry for the pair losing their brother, but at the same time she knew that he brought it on himself.

"Which suit would have been his?" she asked.

"The orange one, the Throne Zwei." replied Johann.

Raven looked upward at the machine and it almost seemed as if it was calling out to her. Having read the technical specifications of the three machines on the way over, she knew of the capabilities of the Gundams and this machine in particular being equipped with a quasi-psycommu system to allow a normal pilot to control the fang remote weapons.
An idea soon took form in Raven's mind as to how she could make the best of Michael's demise.

"I may have a solution for your problem of a missing pilot for your team." Raven said.

Johann and Nena looked at each other in confusion and then back as Raven. "What might that be?" asked Nena.

"I would take your late brother's place and pilot that Gundam myself, and you two would serve as my wingmen. I had originally planned to use you three as my personal squadron anyway, and this would allow you to continue to fight at my side."

"You take Michael's place yourself?" asked Johann. "Well, I don't suppose that would be too bad and it would allow us to still carry out the mission we were assigned."

"All right, I can live with that, but you've got some big shoes to fill there." added Nena.

"I'll try not to disappoint you two." Raven said as she called over one of the technicians.
"Remove the quasi-psycommu system from this Gundam and fit it with the one from my Qubeley as I will be using this suit from now on."

"At once, Lady Raven."

- Macht -

The course was set and the ship was now on its way. It would be several hours before the fleet would arrive at the location of the last battle in which the Lunar Corp fleet that fled Federation control was ambushed by a large Fandom force. The objective was to salvage whatever was possible from the area and in particular, the largely intact hull of one of the other Northhampton class ships that lost its bridge tower just before the Redemption and Salvation managed to escape into fold space.

Until then, key personnel that would be taking place in the operation, in particular the pilots, were ordered to rest as much as they could as the operation may take some time once they arrive.

-Hellbore-

As soon he he floated down to the deck of the hanger Hellbore was given a set of orders. They included his assignment as a main pilot of the DC fleet, and an immediate recommendation to rest up. This was odd to him for one reason: his coming to space was so last minute, the fact that they had orders specifically for him spoke worlds of the efficiency of the Divine Crusader's bureaucracy.

Since he had been ordered to rest, Hellbore was planning on doing just that... later... maybe. For now he was far to hyped to be in space again. He called over to Wingnut who was exiting his own Gundam.

"Hey, d'you reckon we should report to the captain or something?" Usually he didn't meet the captain until several days after embarking on any given ship. He thought he might make a good impression this time.

The orders of the operation were finally given to them and the Captain was rather unhappy about it himself. "So DC plans to salvage our sister ship?"

The crew sort of looked up in confusion as to why that was a problem. He just sort of stared off into space stroking his beard. "I would hate to see the tech on that ship fall into anyone hands. Its bad enough they took the Redemption from us... Knowing them they are probably trying to duplicate the technology for their own use." He thought about it for a few seconds and came to a decision.

"When we reach the location expect hostile forces to be in the area. If either the Federation or Fandom attempt to take that ship I want it destroyed. I'm issuing orders to the Wolves that they are to destroy the crippled Northhampton should it start to fall into wrong hands. How they acomplish this I'll leave to Ryder to figure out." The orders were given and recorded on a secret transcript so the other DC forces wouldn't know what their own plans were.

-Lounge-

Kyle heard the message and started to wonder how he would deal with this. Actually he would mess with it after a short nap. So contacting the other members of the team he gave them all orders to relax until told otherwise. Once this was done he headed for his own room to rest his weary mind and body. What was to come next would definably be interesting.

Having secured Zero in it's slot, Wingnut was leaving the cockpit when he heard Hellbore call to him. "Hey, d'you reckon we should report to the captain or something?"

"Probably. I wonder who they've got in charge of this fleet." he replied knowing that there were a few possible UCC higher ups that could be commanding the DC space fleet in this universe.

After asking one of the ground crew how to get there, Wingnut and Hellbore soon made their way to the bridge of the Macht.

Keying open the door to the bridge, Hellbore stepped through, Wingnut just behind him. He looked around the spacious bridge, noting the lowered area for the operators. He stepped forward again and said, "Hellbore, reporting," giving his best salute.

Following Hellbore, Wingnut also saluted the familiar, yet slightly unexpected face he found in the captain's chair.

"Lt. Wingnut, also reporting as ordered."

"Welcome to you both. I am Lt. Colonel Lily Junkers in command of this ship and fleet. Command believes that you will be of great help to us here in space, although we were only expecting you Wingnut."

"I've cleared everything with Bian himself and we were both approved to come up here, mamn." Wingnut replied.

Lily looked at him a bit skeptically, but didn't say anything of it.
"Very well. Get some rest before we arrive at our destination. I'll have a mission outline sent to your data pads so you can prepare for when we reach our target."

"Yes, mamn." Wingnut saluted and turned to leave the bridge.

-Kyle-

Arriving at his room he slipped out of his uniform and got ready to take a nap. He was exhausted after that encounter with Zepher and figured since they had a bit of time he could catch up on some sleep. Little did he know but on Earth events were taking a turn for the worst when it came to his sister and his other half. Both were being used and one of them probably just sealed his fate with the DC. Kyle though was far enough away that he couldn't sense any of it anyways so for awhile at least he could sleep. At least he knew he could because he had just taken some sleeping meds the infirmary had given him.

It seemed the entire trio was on some sort of medication for something but in all respect he deserved a good nights sleep and these things would make sure nightmares didn't affect his sleep. They would be arriving at the mission site within the next day or so which meant Kyle needed to be at his best because the Wolf's needed him.

Laying into his bed he gave a look around before turning off the deskside lamp and drifting off into the darkness.

This time following Wingnut's lead he steps out of the bridge. Pausing just outside the door he turned to Wingnut and said,

"Well, I'm all for taking the Colonel's advise and taking a nap. What're you gonna do?"

He realised at that point he didn't know where the crew quarters were. He hoped he wouldn't spend the next hour or so combing the ship looking for them.

"I might try the same. I'll probably look over the mission too." he replied as he floated down the corridor and ended up at a crew lounge and entered.

- Gon Jem team -

Although it irritated the ace pilots to no end to be out on a junk hunt, what the junk was would prove to be well worth it if they could recover it.

Thus, the four lieutenants of Gon Jem flew at the front of the line of metal armors toward the light blue hull of the derelict Northampton class ship about 2 hours before the DC fleet would arrive.

Leaving Wingnut at the lounge Hellbore was relieved to see everything helpfully labelled in a functional military manner. Quickly finding the crew quarters, he flipped on the data pad and scrolled through the orders.

He was surprised to see tacked on at the end of the report a berthing assignment. Obviously, his unexpected arrival was causing a few problems the Colonel wanted sorted out fast.

Finding the assigned room, Hellbore entered and found himself in a single berth, Spartan room. There was a narrow bed and a desk with a dock for his data pad. Setting the pad in its niche, Hellbore lay down on the bed, and was quickly asleep.
