TARRRPG Chapter 7: A new path (Earth)

As he successfully makes an attempt to at least throw the Exia off-balance, the enemy uses its midrange GN weapons as a simple retaliation. Still in WaveRider mode, Slug attemps a fast Kulbit to easily have the shots go under his unit. Not willing to give up the advantage, he flies right past the Exia and attemps to turn around and engage again.

"He's not so hot when you're outside his best range," Slug comments.

[Omega]

(I can't lose here!!!)

As he turned to face the Zeta Plus, a sudden sense of foreboding came over him. (Gotta shake it off...) but he instead decided to surrender to keep what's left of his Exia intact.

[Kylern]

The enemy seemed to surrender as the Zeta Plus screeched by him. Kylern gave an exhausted sigh from inside the cramped cockpit of the TEMJIN. His body continued to ache and his head had been splitting from the strain of combat. It had taken everything he had to not be fishfood but he still hadn't been able to fight the same way as that last battle. That feeling of sheer overwhelming power was nowhere in sight and his VR felt the strain. His unit lost a few pieces of armor and its V-Converter started to slow down as the energy level dropped inside the unit.

"Damnit... Don't give up on me now..." He begged as the VR began to power down and lose altitude. Once the Telsa drive turned off his unit gave a free fall to the ocean below taking its pilot for a swim. Actually Kylern even tried to escape by the cockpit but he couldn't summon the strength to manually open it.

"Why does combat always end with me without power?" He asked himself finally relaxing in his seat. He guessed if he was going to crash and drown then it would happen. No need stressing out inside the metal coffin.

To prove he wasn't bluffing, he went and rescued the battered Temjin.
"Are you okay?" Zaine asked as he helped it out of the water and noticed an odd look from his captors.

Fortunately Kylern never hit the surface. As Wingnut came back around he had transformed and was about to draw the mêlée attention of the Exia, when he found it had given up the fight.
Thus, he was in an ideal position to grab the 707 as it began to fall.
So where do I put this guy? wondered Wingnut as he saw that the DC sub was damaged, and figured that it wouldn't be able to support him right now.
Guess it's back to the Ceres for now. thought Wingnut as he carried the unit back to his own ship.

"Slugger, secure this guy and bring him back to the ship then have the MPs escort him to the brig."

Bio and Otto headed due east towards the Pacific Ocean, there they would meet a ship that would take them the way of the Gundam Team. Otto was working on performance speeds in the cockpit, while a ways away Bio was working out for the upcoming battles. It would be hard from here on out.

[Kylern]

Inside the TEMJIN Kylern felt a stop in the freefall. Actually he felt it pretty hard as the sudden change in speed caused him to hit his head on the moniterless front wall. Pain ripped through his head almost feeling as if his brains had been scrambled like grandma's Sunday eggs. But no real damage was done and after his vision stopped spinning and the spots went away he found his unit hit the ground of some place... Who had just saved him and where was he going to? If this was the Federation ship then he didn't want to come out. There was a reason... He had based a lot of Kyle on himself and the looks were pretty similar right down to the rusty looking red hair. Kylern didn't want to ask questions or meet any of the Gundam pilots since he had known most of them on Mechatalk. His previous oath to getting everyone out of this world, even aligning himself with Bian for that one purpose, was forgotten as he didn't really want to be approached from those in his own universe.

But he wouldn't have a chance once the cockpit was opened up... Maybe the bleeding head and pretty battered looking body would soften his position a little. Even though he had killed several Federation mobile suits including a Gundam not to long ago.

(I didn't want to; but I need them alive and you aren't exactly giving me many choices here; also, I'm sick of VF-11's)

what the VF's had missed was the fact that Wan and Gai were fighting nearby; once they reached the top of their ascent and began transforming Wan saw a chance he placed himself between Gai and the 11's firing off a wide area EMP into the Valkyries backs. even if the machines evaded the launched missiles would be scrambled by the attack. Gai couldn't try to stop him because of the risk of friendly fire and the distance

Icer had managed to evade the beam guns by doing his own spiral which grew bigger as the Valkyries closed allowing him to be outside their tight spiral when they passed. His vucan ammo was exhausted He would have been unable to counter the missiles but thankfully just as they were being fired Wan's EMP blast erupted

What the hell? Is this guy confused or something? Slug thinks.

Slowing down from his afterburning velocity, his ZetaPlus transforms back into suit mode, heeds the commands of Wingnut and watches that Exia---that one funny move and it's a beam shot straight into that pretty GN drive of his.

Not being used to this communication, he attempts to call the bridge, "Uhh, ZetaPlus escorting the enemy unit, have uhh soldiers at the ready," Slugger says.

[Wingnut]

((Actually it only gets that fast during a battle.))

- Ceres -

"Acknowledged, Slugger. All units return to ship. We will be leaving as soon as all craft are aboard."

[Omega]

Along the way, Zaine made a remark. "I take it you guys are wondering why i saved him, huh?" he then waited for a response as he was being escorted to a ship he had never seen before.

[Kylern]

(I know you are but I love them. VFs outperform and beat KMFs anyday)

-VF squads-

The two chasing after the pietiful KMF were finally routed by an EMP. Their smart missiles had been short circuited and fell from the sky instead of detonating. Both of them had been out of range of the actual EMP but the fact they had been confronted by another unit caused them to transform back into fighter mode and take off back towards the ship. Besides the orders came down and both teams took off now that their respective battles had been won.

[Omega]

Zaine then started to wonder what fate awaited him... (guess i'll at least ask about the ship.) he decided, upon entering.

"Um... what is this ship? and what are you going to do with me anyway?"

[Strike_Rouge_Mk2]

As Mao was still speeding towards the enemy machine a status change appeared in the corner of his screen, indicating that the three of his Falkens were badly wounded. Almost losing track of the battle, He snapped out of it and pulled out of his slash rolling to the side and passing his enemy. Giving himself time to descend, he fired multiple bursts of the beam cannon and pushed it back into its wing slot, making it easier to hold the anti-ship sword with force against it." Are you guys alright?,' he radioed the Falkens and a positive message came back,"I want you to try and head back to the base, I cant have you shot down in our first real battle."

After settling things, he went and continued his fight with the enemy focusing on the newly drawn sabers."We'll settle this with our blades."

Wan Fey Lo/Icer

With the VF finally breaking off Icer continued towards the transport which had moved lower for the KMFs to land. Wan was enraged that they would have to retreat, He would make sure to sort out the Akasuki pilots soon enough. Next time they would be sure to eliminate extraneous factors such as the VF-11's and the DC...

Sume Gai

Gai watched as Wan ascended into the clouds; following was pointless and return orders had been given. He turned and made his way back.

Alex Bloke

Alex followed the passing enemy through multiple cameras and when the beams were fired did a combination of a flip and turn to evade and once again face the enemy.

[Strike_Rouge_Mk2]

The Rouge E was now facing the enemy machine. After a stand still for a few seconds, he grabbed the anti-ship sword in one hand and mounted it on his forearm. After doing that, he fired up the Wings of Light and rushed at the enemy, the sword looked like a pink line separating the Rouge's head agianst the rest of its body from the enemies perspective.

Alex Bloke

as the enemy charged Alex placed his sabers parallel to each other one going upwards the other downwards and in such a way as there was a bit between his arms where both sabers blazed side by side. Alex caught the slash at this point let himself move backwards so he wasn't over powered by the weight of the blade; as he did so he used his own sabers in a scissor like motion trying to close around the enemy's A.S.S. while still holding it back

Just as Mao suspected the enemy focused both sabers on the Anti-ship sword. He then quickly used his free arm to pull out the beam cannon and fire a point blank stream into the enemy mech, pushing his own mech back with tremendous force.

Alex Bloke

What Mao hadn't planned on was the 009's secondary arms. The right one deployed in the same instant the enemy drew his cannon and stabbed into it from below. the left activated. and merely waited for its chance to strike

Mao quickly reacted to the stab of the cannon and pushed it towards the enemy machine, allowing it to explode in its face while he backed away from the enemy only slightly. He then held the sword in both hands and pulled a slice upwards to the mech.
