Japanese women are expected to live well into their 80's.

Only 114, I remember when we had one 120+. Well still a shame. Though really, who wants to live that long, as by the time your 90... life can't be too fun. It's a pity we men live so damn short, oh well.

I dont mind it much.

and well when they died off she became the oldest =x

I just find it kinda nostalgic.

She was born 10 years before all that samurai stuff was ended and industrail revolution took place. :P

Sounds like she's a living monument... Every year there's always an oldest living person around somewhere in the world, so what's the point to live that old when life can be heaven and hell at the same time?

Argh, last night's pub quiz had her age as a question, and I remembered that I had seen this topic here but I never read it. So I got it wrong. Just another example of what you can learn through MAHQ that might have some uses elsewhere.
