Re: Christmas 2012 thread (post your haul in HERE!)

MG Nu Gundam Ver Ka (Bought for myself)
$125 (I got like 25 bucks from each extended family member)
Some assorted candy as a stocking stuffer for my brother because of the santa-thing still going on for him.

Might get some olllllllllllld Gundam stuff from a friend. He found a ton of old action figures from when they were selling them out here, including an SD Nieu Ziel, Nu Gundam, and a bunch of other rare ones including the Battle Scarred God Gundam, Dragon Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero, and Zeong. He also had some of the OYW action figures I was trying to find including the one I had before I new about Gundam, the Z'Gok, which my mom bought me randomly as a stocking stuffer another year ironically.

Re: Christmas 2012 thread (post your haul in HERE!)

Didn't really get anything interesting from my mom, because she always gives me boring stuff (though the gift certificate to a local yarn shop will definitely be put to good use, as I love to knit). But at least my fiancé gets me cool stuff!

-Gundam Unicorn episodes 1 and 2 on Blu-ray
-MG Banshee kit
-Avatar: The Last Airbender "The Promise" Part 3 graphic novel

And that's it. We're both unemployed, so he couldn't send me a whole lot this year.

Meh. Not a great haul this year for me either.
A gift card, various articles of clothing, a calendar, and a Clive Cussler novel. Oh, and the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy on DVD.
As a belated X-Mas present to myself, I plan on getting a new BD Player, as mine's busted.
EDIT: Also, my folks bought me a new iPhone.

A 500gb PS3, which was a birthday/christmas present, so I have had it almost a month already and a $25 dollar gift debit card thingy which seems like it might be a pita to use. Present to myself will be a copy of the latest mobile suit illustrated if I can find the complete version for sale in the next couple of weeks online.
WARNING!!! I EDIT My posts in the image threads if there is NO NEW REPLIES!!

Re: Christmas 2012 thread (post your haul in HERE!)

Most of the stuff I got I purchased myself, since the week and a half off from work I'm currently enjoying at the moment is the first real break I've had from work practically since I started back in July.

I got a lot of kitchenware and small appliances for the house I'm going to be moving into in the near future back on black friday, along with a 32in HDTV which sat in its box until only yesterday when I got a desk and other stuff for it to sit on next to my laptop. Apart from that, I got the usual clothes, including a pair of khaki pants which i freaking love and intended to buy more of, but when I went to the dept store from which my mother bought them, they were nowhere to be found. Lame.

I'll probably throw away another few hundred dollars within the next week or so since my birthday is right around the corner. Maybe I'll start collecting parts for the PC I plan on building since, as much as I love my laptop, it is beginning to show its age and it struggles with some of the newer games I try to play on it. I can't even run sites in EVE Online without my FPS chugging on anything more than medium/low settings.

Evangelion 1.11 and 2.22 Blu-Rays.
Borderlands 2 plus DLC from the gaming side.
A load of books.
I suppose the most relevant book to be mentioned here is Redshirts by John Scalzi. :)

Re: Christmas 2012 thread (post your haul in HERE!)

Great haul this year. For Christmas:
-MG Blitz
-FMA Brotherhood Complete vol. 2 (blu-ray)
-Community Season 3 (DVD)
-A very nice peacoat, and numerous other semi-fancy clothes (I'm a teacher)
-Set of 4 Star Wars glasses
-Fables hardcover vol. 4
-A very nice pen, for marking (again, teacher)
-"America Again: Re-Becoming the Greatness We Never Weren't", by Stephen Colbert

For my birthday:
-Sherlock series 1 (blu-ray)
-MG Aegis
-Fables hardcover vol. 5

I also purchased the Ramba Ral and Dozle Zabi RAH-DX statues, the MG Nu ver.Ka, and the MG Buster with money that I received. Needless to say, it was a very Gunpla-filled 2 weeks.
