I was reading through one of my favorite blogs and discovered these two articles. As a writer I have a particular fascination with what if scenarios (as do comic book writers it seems) and decided to submit these for your perusal. What do you think? Could an extended Apollo program with 100-man space stations and solar power satellites and two-week lunar expeditions established a better base for the future in space? Maybe lead to one of those O'neill cylinders? Oh and leave some comments for the author as well, eh?
