Immortals... What does everyone else think? Everyone around me seems to think of it as the greatest thing ever. I think that it's just some special-effects-heavy, light-on-the-story, Hollywood money-grab for all those who marveled at AVATAR. I also think I'm right.

I'm most likely just going to end up watching this with a group of friends for a movie night and for the sake of some action to go along with my kettle corn. I, for one, am not going into it expecting it to be the greatest movie ever, but rather I'm just looking for my desire to see a decent action scene once in a while. Hell, I pop in 300 from time to time and rewatch the fight scenes in slow motion rewind with a buddy or two and have a good laugh.
If I want some substance, I'll just go rewatch Kara no Kyoukai or something.

This movie was atrocious. No one should ever go to watch this..the best part of the movie was the Prince of Persia Sands of Time esque final battle where no explanation is given as to why the enemies float in mid air after dying...other than that the movie had horrible pacing, the characters were meh, and it just wasn't engaging.

Even when i saw the trailers i didn't get into this film. Honestly it looked like it was Clash of the Titans and 300 mushed together.
