Oh, yes. The new Chinadam made something of a splash with internet-goers.

For instance.

Japan had another 1/1 scale Gundam all along.

EDIT: diregard, some a-hole photoshopped the picture. Nice job of making fun of a very serious situation.

I edited my post, you can remove it if you'd like... turns out the picture (and source) that I found, was photoshopped. Just some idiot making light of a tragic situation.

My apologies.

Sounds like JETTOH JAGUA!

You know the 13-year-olds will love it. They may have well designed it with that in mind.

Or yeah, they could have no aesthetic sophistication. That's also possible.

It's obviously the work of Zeon supporters.

For that matter, why isn't there a Red Comet statue?

Thread moved. This has already been covered. The Gundam statue was not destroyed by the earthquake. It's just somebody trolling.

Can we make a thread in regards to the earthquake? I know some social topics aren't allowed on here, but this is pretty significant and will have an impact on anime and manga productions (not that that is really important right now, but a catastrophe like this should be allowed to have its own discussion, IMO).
