I guess most, if not all, of those specialist unit use to guard Earth only. Feddie isn't so kind toward spacenoid anyway.

There is also the fact that F91 is a number of years after those Jegan types were first introduced. By UC 0123, those variants may have been retired or are in more limited use (Not that I'd say they were really wide-spread).

Besides, we only see what's inside Frontier Side, so I wouldn't expect to see something like the nuke-capable Stark defending a cluster of four colonies.

I haven't seen F91 yet. I was just sorta' taking a guess at it.

And the spec of S is quite a bit better than normal Jegan [in order to carry all that addons without becoming sloth]. Addon-ejected S would become high performance [at the time] Jegan. Is this msv Stark Jegan the same as S type Jegan in Unicorn though?

Edit: in fact the unicorn S is the same as Stark, but with lineart update [KA-ized].

There is a mid-range fire support Jegan variant for ground combat (I assume Earth terrain) called the Heavy Armor Type. This variant is cleary superior to the normal Jegans in terms of firepower.

By the way, shouldn't these Heavy Armor types be usable in colonies as well? If so, why use those A/B/J-Types in F91 while the Feds could make use of the Heavy Armor Types with updated equipment (during UC 0123) instead. The Feds should upgrade the Heavyguns instead of making A/B/J-Type Jegans no?

Maybe, but it would depend if they can be used in space, which is something I'm not sure of (Besides, it's not a good idea to deploy a MS solely for use on the ground in a colony).

Cost is probably a factor. It's probably easier to maintain/upgrade to the A/B/J, which are all very similar aside from some assorted weapons or minor changes to the arms or backpack. It may also be possible that the RGM-90's role as a support unit may have been taken over by newer machines like the G-Cannon or Hardygun or something else (Seeing how, as a support unit, it wouldn't have been as heavily used as a basic unit, like the Jegans, so replacing it may have been easier).

That depends on which came out first; the Heavygun or upgraded Jegans. I don't know which entered service first (Although I suspect it was the upgraded Jegans), so we'd need someone to fill in that bit of data.
