It would be easier to understand what you're talking about if posted a link to said screenshot. AFAIK, Axis is made up of two asteroids attached to each other. The smaller one is used like an escape pod to evacuate the population in an emergency.

Negative, Mosa was actually a habitation area to accomidate the growing population of Axis along with helping to suppliment it's production and resource needs, it was subsequently used by Glemy Toto as a perverial rock through the window when he launched it at Core 3 in an attempt to destroy haman and her forces.

You're both partially right. Moussa is ment to give extra living space for the people who lived in Axis, but it could be detached (And later reattached) in case of an emergency.
