The blade was probably coated in GN particles and seem to have that effect, Exia's blades do the same thing when they cut through things.
Don't send a coordinator to do a newtype's job!

Sergei's Tieran has two shoulder shields mounted. Does that mean he forgoes the two shoulder thrusters on the standard type? Perhaps, it will be identified as a commander use variant.
