Ok, because of another thread, I got curious about how terms used for MS specification differentiate between various Gundam anime.

From what I've come to understand, general purpose in UC means that it can function on the ground, space, and [limitedly] underwater. Apparently, this "definition" isn't necessarily applicable to the other universes, such as CE. Then there are other neat phrases like "muti-role" and "mode."

So I was wondering if there was anyone who could actually define those terms in accordance to their relation to a given Gundam universe. I figure this way, we can have a precise picture of what these MS were meant for again.
