Seeing some images of the Zanzibar Kai from MSV-R, I noticed that the hanger/booster attachment seems to have a hatch that leads into the back of the Zanzibar (check the image in the right bottom corner):

In the case of the regular Zanzibar, this hatch would simply lead to the rear thrusters of the Zanzibar. However, it the ship was like the Lili Marleen or the rebuilt Keraunos, the hatch would lead into the Zanzibar's own rear hatch, thus connecting the hangars:

Therefore, I was wondering if late in the war the four Zanzibars that were upgraded into Zanzibar Kai configuration might have received such modification in order to make the most of their extended hangar and catapult.
What's more, perhaps even other regular Zanzibars could have received such modification as well late in the war for more efficiently deploying MS, and/or for deploying MAs (such as the Bigro), which were also introduced late into the war.
Otherwise, any other theories for the purpose of the external hangar's hatch leading into the Zanzibar?
