High acceleration values of early UC MS?

Case in point, the Zudah. Which has a listed 8Gs of acceleration whereas most other MS from the OYW era usually have ~1G. I understand that the Zudah can overheat and explode but how exactly was such a value achieved? Or is it simply that the acceleration value of other MS isn't a maximum value?

If you believe the Newtype 100% series books, that value is a value for "moving",
so it is not a maximum value.

I assume they mean it is the highest efficiency value.
Take note that the highest efficiency value usually is propostional to the maximum value.
