Gregor & Carmelo make sense, but where did Kirujarugu come from??

Well, apart from both containing nuclear materials, they're two very different kinds of explosion; you're not so much comparing apples to oranges there, as apples to fish.latenlazy wrote:Chernobyl tells us that plants don't mind radiation, but maybe Hasegawa doesn't know that...
Story is that Jupiter Tech is cannot manage to recreate the Minovsky Drive unit so they add I-Field generators to control the Minovsky particles. This however creates havoc as the two different systems conflicts each other, and thus deemed highly unstable and a failure. Basically this thing runs hot when the system activates, hence the F91 style cooldown system (mask vent and sheet) and the coolant capsules that is expelled.balofo wrote:Phantom is a failed prototype that was mean to use Minovsky Drive Unit to travel bewteen planets. The I-Field and Phantom Light(pink flames) are byproducts of an unfinished Minovsky Drive Unit.
Expect an upgrade somewhere along the manga
Thanks for the info, is it translated from the manga or jp wiki?Enileph wrote:Story is that Jupiter Tech is cannot manage to recreate the Minovsky Drive unit so they add I-Field generators to control the Minovsky particles. When our lucky geek boy manage to get his hands on the unit he did some tweaking somehow to get the systems barely working together. This requires lots of energy and can be done in limited time though. HOWEVER, when everything is activated it is quite powerful. Being able to tweak around beam weapons like having a giant I-field (and I-field armor?). Beam weapons of the Phantom are also supercharged, hence the beam saber being able to slick through beamshields. Also some increase in speed and mobility.
Whatever it is, this is a little bit of an upgrade from his last MS which is a vintage MS-06-F.
