Finally the other Thoucus MS appear: Grego?, Kirujarugu?, and Carmelo?

Gregor & Carmelo make sense, but where did Kirujarugu come from??

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Phantom is a failed prototype that was mean to use Minovsky Drive Unit to travel bewteen planets. The I-Field and Phantom Light(pink flames) are byproducts of an unfinished Minovsky Drive Unit.

Expect an upgrade somewhere along the manga

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Updated from the last 2 chapters, a lot has happened and people have already died!

A)Galahad's remaining gimmicks are revealed:
1)Beam Chainsaw Rifle, as expected:

http://imageshack.us/a/img715/4526/4228j.jpg

2)Knee Beam Sabers/Shields
http://imageshack.us/a/img850/4721/4234.jpg
http://imageshack.us/a/img600/1460/4238.jpg

3)Gordon is killed by Jack, maybe they'll recover the Galahad and repair it
http://imageshack.us/a/img163/8748/kgx5318.jpg

B)More development on the Phantom abilities:
1)Phantom Light Beam Zanber(don't know official name) stored on the side skirts, can PIERCE Beam Shields easily:

http://imageshack.us/a/img823/2198/4237w.jpg
http://imageshack.us/a/img836/9249/4239.jpg

2)Phantom Light runs on cartridges or something, since a thing is expelled from the back when it overheats:

http://imageshack.us/a/img826/3741/4233v.jpg

3)It's I-Field can block and repel a VSBR shot with some difficulty, so it brings the question: I-fields can be easily pierced by a VSBR shot? Has this been brought up before?

http://imageshack.us/a/img849/8216/kgx5337.jpg
http://imageshack.us/a/img46/8193/kgx5338.jpg

C)New Thoucus unit revealed: Bailerina? What's the name of the pilot mentioned by Jack? Has leg VSBRs and something on the wrists(beam vulcan/saber perhaps)

D)Jack is captured, therefore Thoucus is out of 2 of its custom units.
http://imageshack.us/a/img405/5530/kgx5320.jpg

E)The only ''MS'' profile on the vol.03 is for Haroro, Phantom's must be on the upcoming vol 04

**Also I saw on aemedia that Cornix model number is EMS-VSX4 and Amakusa's is EMS-11, no source though. Must be me made up

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Nothing new this month but we're getting to visit Earth next. The nuclear remains of Jaburo exactly. Also the 3 remaining Thoucus units will appear this Summer on the manga.

Also X0 will get a toy that comes with the Peacock Smasher. Together with that promo pic with X0 holding a Murasama Blaster looks like Tobia will use his favorite weapons in the future. Not to mention they recovered a LARGE supply of weapons and accessories for the F97 series along the X0, perhaps the Phantom will get its unique handheld weapon from this cache...

Kurtz thought about naming the Phantom as Phantom Gundam and it already got the crossbone symbol in the chest from the colored lineart.

I still find it amusing that Jaburo is still a giant crater of nothing. Vegetation would certainly grow back over that in the oh 60+ years it's been since the bomb went off.

Well, apart from both containing nuclear materials, they're two very different kinds of explosion; you're not so much comparing apples to oranges there, as apples to fish.

Chernobyl, essentially, was a large-scale steam explosion which vented huge amounts of radioactive particles into the atmosphere - to the degree that Geiger counters in Sweden were giving off readings so intense the Swedes were convinced one of their own nuclear power stations had malfunctioned (bearing in mind here that Stockholm is around 800 miles from Chernobyl!) - and wasn't what you'd consider a true "nuclear explosion".

Jaburo, however, was something rather different: the deliberate detonation of an atomic weapon. That in itself would be one of two very different process - depending on whether it was a fission or fusion bomb - which would not only release huge amounts of radiation, but would also produce the infamous "glassing" effect illustrated in this image from the Trinity Test.

Of course, the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have been rebuilt and restored following the Second World War, so there is some precedent for being able to carry on in the wake of an atomic bombing - the question then becomes whether the Federation would want to spend the time and money and effort on reclaiming the Jaburo site in the aftermath of its destruction by the Titans, I suppose.

In the Return of Johnny Ridden manga, it was revealed that only the central facility was destroyed by the bomb, while the outer facities were mostly left intact and the Federation never bothered to clear out those facilities of the their equipment, in the story Zeon remnants were taking advantage of that, to supply, repair and upgrade their MS.

Story is that Jupiter Tech is cannot manage to recreate the Minovsky Drive unit so they add I-Field generators to control the Minovsky particles. This however creates havoc as the two different systems conflicts each other, and thus deemed highly unstable and a failure. Basically this thing runs hot when the system activates, hence the F91 style cooldown system (mask vent and sheet) and the coolant capsules that is expelled.

When our lucky geek boy manage to get his hands on the unit he did some tweaking somehow to get the systems barely working together. This requires lots of energy and can be done in limited time though. HOWEVER, when everything is activated it is quite powerful. Being able to tweak around beam weapons like having a giant I-field (and I-field armor?). Beam weapons of the Phantom are also supercharged, hence the beam saber being able to slick through beamshields. Also some increase in speed and mobility.

Whatever it is, this is a little bit of an upgrade from his last MS which is a vintage MS-06-F.

Thanks for the info, is it translated from the manga or jp wiki?

Phantom's transformation called Mirage Oiseau will finally appear next month. Funny it doesn't look like a variable MS at all, but certainly will be based on the Cornigs

Mirage Oiseau MA Mode revealed. Font needed to seppuku to break the mechanism that prohibited the transformation at first.

Phantom's upgrade: Ghost Gundam. Repaired using X-0 parts plus a new coating using a mysterious metal found during outer planet research. This coating makes the unit silver and provides some anti beam coating and more importantly functions as reactive armor against solid weaponry.

-Bailarina's model number is EMS-TC03, produced after Phantom. Its VSBR is called Needle VSBR. So we're only missing the EMS-TC07 Thoucus squad member
-Mirage Oiseau mode provides additional duration for the Phantom Light, maximum is 3 minutes
-The MS contest winner Bibrons appeared as an experimental Zanscare MS, model number 2TM-XXG(must be a type, should be ZTM-XXG). Armaments: fixed Einerad tail with claw at the end, and 2 Beam Guns on the dual fake heads.
-The remaining 3 MS contest winners are set to appear soon: Grego, Chaosrail and a Marionette type MS http://i.imgur.com/nOl1yuW.jpg
-Kizo's custom MS has been partially revealed, no name yet but it appears to have the power to make other MS explode by emitting a light from its head. Potential final boss
