The Mechanical Exposition at the end of volume 8 features the Parts Block of the Phantom, the Mirage Oiseau, and the Bailarina.

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

So is Ebikawa doing the mecha designs for this series? I know Crossbone is usually Katoki's thing.
Sakuya: "Whatever. Stop lying and give up your schemes, now."
Yukari: (Which lies and schemes are she talking about? It's hard to keep track of them all...)

Good question allow me to explain:
1)Hasegawa does almost all the MS, ship, additional weapons and support mecha design. Then he either has someone cleanup his rough or the design goes directly to manga form
2)So the original Crossbone was designed in this order: Hasegawa rough, Katoki cleanup, final Hasegawa take on the design that appears in the manga
3)Katoki is confirmed to have cleaned up the Crossbones, Batara, Divinidad and Phantom(not responsible for Mirage Oiseau, though). The Crossbone Core Fighter is the only known original Katoki design. It seems Katoki also is the creator of the Mother Vanguard. I suspect Katoki also did the Zanbuster(Buster Gun/Beam Zanber) going by the lineart between chapters in the 1st volume of the original series
4)For Ghost the official clean up artist for the Thoucus MS is Myazaki Shinichi(宮崎真一), he also is confirmed to have designed himself the Butterfly Buster B and the Multipurpose Attack Armament [Kujaku]. Also seems to have created the Thoucus MS cockpit design
5)There's also the contest MS like the Elegolea by Ebikawa from the original series, and Ghost with 7 contest original MS(the ones that got profiles have the contest winners credited with original design)
6)I don't know if Ebikawa cleaned up or redesigned some the Ghost contest MS, I know he was just a judge along Hasegawa. I've seen Hasegawa roughs for the first 3 contest MS that appeared on the story

If anyone wants, I can post all the roughs and contest images I've got

Heh, you know I actually forgot that Ebikawa got his start with the Elgolela. So I guess he's a natural fit to work on Crossbone professionally.

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

The MS contest winner Bibrons appeared as an experimental Zanscare MS
Sorry for the little correction, but it's name is Bifrons (ビフロンス), which in Latin means literaly "Double-foreheaded" (it was an epithet of the ancient Roman deity Ianus), an obvious reference of the fact it has two heads...

Yeah it was named Bifrons by the original designer, but in the manga it appeared as Bibrons. Maybe another mistake like the model number...

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

It might just be a case of a misplaced diacritical mark.

Just checked the official blog and yes it's Bibrons(ビブロンス).

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Thanks for the clarification...I personally hope both name spelling and model number will be amended in the tankoubon edition :)

To avoid confusion, Tobia is Curtis. The image floating around is him reflecting back when he was younger.

Final bosses

-Midas: appears to be a pure Jovian MS. Has a kind of flash attack that paralyses other MS. Holds a scepter and has 2 arm Beam Shields.

http://ww2.sinaimg.cn/mw1024/a081fa4egw ... 0xcgta.jpg

-Chaosreru: huge weird MA. Controlled by Maria plus other 5 subpilots. Has Funnels that can control other MS upon contact or inject Angel Call dissolving the pilot

-Ghost Gundam: now carries the Kujaku in Mirage Oiseau Mode. Also upgraded with a cooling cartridge belt for extra running time
-Desphys: looks the same but now the arms are painted in white
-Rear Shrike: one gets Dash parts, other gets the Beam Smart Gun and third gets nothing
-New kitbash MS: looks to be a Batara(Ghost upgraded one) riding an Einerad with Lalo's Light Ball divided into 2 and carried in arms. Is Mermaid the pilot?
-Full Cloth X-0: FC looks the same but now has the same silver plating as the Ghost Gundam

Wow these enemy MS look OP. Looking forward to it

It seems they combined the elements of the contest Marionette type MS and Chaosreru into the manga Chaosreru.

Now we're only missing the Grego which must be the final Thoucus MS.

More images:

-Midas: Scepter doubles as a Beam Saw(how does that mechanism work?), it also has claws powerful enough to destroy MS.

-Chaosreru: the funnels release the same fast hardening gas from the Totuga, if a funnel sticks to your MS you are done for.

Oh and I forget to mention that the Ghost Gundam cockpit is filled with the same liquid that prevents Angel Call infection.

Midas:

Hasegawa rough:

Myazaki Shinichi cleanup:

Again the final manga version by Hasegawa is different from the cleanup.

It indeed has the power to stop other MS, but we'll have to wait until it's revealed in the manga. Minovsky Particles control?

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

-Bibrons confirmed as spelling, model number corrected as ZMT-XXG. Concept is to not allow the Einerad to be stolen by the enemy, developed at the same time as the Bruckeng(spelled here as ブルッケリング, typo?). The holes on the tail are magnetic generators, by repeating the on-off at high speed it acts as a kind Linear Motor

-EMS-TC07 Grego finally appeared. Pilot is the Thoucus leader who apparently knew Professor Karas from the original.

-Ghost Gundam: new abilities revealed.
a)waist armor was remodeled as Beam Rifles with a barrel at the tip(Flame Sword functions as grip). The beam has an unusual trajectory due to the Phantom Light
b)All direction attack: releases beams from every Phantom Light duct resulting in a devastating attack
C)cockpit liquid: reduces the effect of the extreme G-forces.

-Full Cloth X-0: no special coating, just a normal FC unit.

Imagine how powerful/cool Ghost Gundam will be when it finally appears in a game :)

Will update with more info when more pics appear

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

Since I snagged the ebook version, the original design/draft of the Bibrons is attributed to marchant.

Karas was his teacher. :/

God this story needs to end. 10 volumes of crap. The original story went to hell rather quickly it seems.

I like Ghost :)

What are the Grego's abilities? Is the pilot already dead(shot in the heart)? Kizo and fake Maria fled? Is this even the final battle?

What was in the missing Bibrons techninal page?

Re: Crossbone Ghost MS discussion

There's a reason why I never translated these things...

From the missing page that shows it inside it's "wheel":

Due to the reduced diameter of the wheel when transformed, the main body is unable to be stored inside and as such juts out the side. Instead of covering this with a shield, it overcomes this by positioning flexible operating beam cannons on both sides.

Its weakness is that it is forced to go around the side, and the muzzle inevitably becomes the target, so it can be said that it is strengthened for "attacking" and "defending" so to speak. Furthermore, since the beam cannon does not have a long barrel, the range is considered to be not very far. The machine lacks an official model number (unobtainable/didn't receive one) but, because the Zanscare Empire was putting out a wide variety of new models in such a short period of time, it was believed that the development site of mobile suits was in considerable chaos or perhaps it didn't have the decision from the higher ups, or it may have been put together by the development team eager for success.

I think I messed up that last sentence but whatever... you get the gist of it.
