Re: Known MSV-R so far

The name I got for this is "Local Control Type Guntank", but that might not be the best wording. Weapons are 120mm cannon x 2, 3-tube missilelauncher x 2, and "others".
Sakuya: "Whatever. Stop lying and give up your schemes, now."
Yukari: (Which lies and schemes are she talking about? It's hard to keep track of them all...)

Last time I saw something that looked like that, it was a Destroid in Macross.

I think it's more like "Area Suppression"

I actually thought of this concept art for the RX-75 guntank. it looks like they compressed it down and made match the evolution of the Animated guntank.

Re: Known MSV-R so far

I'd vote for "Regional Control" but that's just me. The term 局地 can also mean 'limited' but I'd have to read the background on the unit to see.

New MSV-R unit - another attempt to make out of the Zakrello the ultimate MA:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/ ... 00X-2d.jpg

Can someone please translate its name?

By now, MSV-R already covered the Zakrello, Bigro and Braw Bro. Will they continue that route and eventually add MSV units of the Big Zam, Elmeth and/or Grabro?

Re: Known MSV-R so far

i think the name is Brawrello? it's the mix between Braw Bro and Zakrello.
so now it have 2 x wire-guided particle gun and wire-guided claw? that's gonna be hard to controlled, even by newtype, i think.

Wow. A newtype use Zakrello. You see something new and strange every time with this line. Not totally a bad idea either, but I still feel that the ultamate Zakrello is the one that was modded to be like the GP-03 that showed up in Gunpla Builders.

Lol. I did clean up for the Gunpla Builders Zakrello for the site, that thing is still the greatest of all Zakrello's.

Re: Known MSV-R so far

It has thruster boobs :P (Then again, so did the GP-01Fb, but at least those were hidden behind its chest vents - completely implausible as that is)
Pretty neat-looking other than that though.

That's not the only similarity between both units: there's also those wing-like thrusters attached to its backpack. It almost looks like a testbed for the Full Vernian configuration of the Zephyranthes.

If MS-05DS hadn't pointed out its name, my guess would have been that this could be called something along the lines of "GM Full Vernian Test Type", with the V on it's name standing for Vernian/vernier. This would have been odd though, since in UC 0083 the most logical choice for the base unit would have been the RGM-79C, which had already served such purposes in the form of the RGM-79C Powered GM (though for the ground combat configuration).

My second guess would have been that this is the Federation's answer to the MS-06E Zaku Reconnaissance Type, which also had the chest thrusters and additional sensors.

The only parts that seem related to its name, "Night Seeker", are the head sensors. I hope we get some more info on it soon.

The big kanji title says it was developed for special forces use.

Re: Known MSV-R so far

judging from the rest of the msv-r units this odd GM configuration could be what inspired AE in building the GP01FB core fighter. the local control guntank looks like the old guntank concept art but also fits with the s-tank if you put an guntank torso on top of it.

Re: Known MSV-R so far

There wasn't anything listed in the introductory "chapter" for MSV-R. It just showed the back of a Dom and that's it...
