-Ens.Korbel-
-Hamburg's Hull-

On the HUD a camera keeps a zoomed-in eye on the mechanics that rushed in as soon as Bernard landed. With a thumbs up from the lead mechanic, Bernard quickly sets his sights on the continuing battle around the Chuikov. With a grimace he observes the flashes of light from beam rifles and explosions that can even be seen at this distance. Once the mechanic team has moved he taps his thrusters to gain some distance from the Hamburg. Firing his verniers to place himself in the direction of the Chuikov.

Soloman, A Bao A Qu...I can't imagine what the battles must have been like for those who were lucky enough to get off the earth.

Opening a channel to his C.O. Bernard reports in. "I'm good to go. Are we going to resume assistance to the Chuikov, Sir?"

-Hamburg - Bridge

Adam sighed with relief as the mobile suit team landed on the hull of the ship. He watched as they were resupplied and made ready to move off. The three suits floated outside, probably awaiting their orders from the captain to be relayed. He heard the radioman calling Randy to do just that.

His thoughts turned toward Ens. Kai. He had hardly knew the man, so beyond the loss of a comrade, the death didn't affect as much. As perverse as the thought was, he couldn't help but think that now he would likely get a chance to pilot a mobile suit again.

Emington stand outside while a group of mechanics crawling over his Nemo. The chief insisted to send a man to check the broken left screen despite Randy's initial order. Unwillingly he let the man do the check although he knows there's no time to fix the screen. There he watched the other group of men clad in normal suits welding at the Nemo’s left shoulder. They tried to patch the shoulder up, cutting all the essential function since the elbow and the hand are already lost. Making sure that the part will hold up and not leaking anything out.

A team of mechanics cleared out from Bernard’s unit. Randy saw an ignited light on the thrusters and soon the Nemo took off from the deck. As Bernard's Nemo gained some distance, Randy entered the cockpit and turn on the radio transmission after he closed the hatch. The mechanic was still there, playing with left screen wires and circuitry. Even with 2 persons inside, the cockpit still quite spacious. Both of them listened when Bernard’s voice coming out from the speaker. "I'm good to go. Are we going to resume assistance to the Chuikov, Sir?"

Randy makes sure that the line is clear before giving out his answer. “Hold your position. We’ve yet to receive any order from the bridge. Keep your eyes open and stay close to the ship. I’ll hail the bridge once my unit is ready.” He seated himself and turned the console on while giving a hand gesture to the mechanic to continue his work. He assisted the man in checking the screen for almost a minute when the mechanic outside told him that the job is done. He opened the cockpit hatch and giving out his order. "Time's up. I have to launch the unit, tell the other to clear the deck."

The Nemo standing up and carefully ignites a minimum amount of thrust. Randy let the unit drift for a distance before turning on his thrusters and position himself near Bernard's unit. He switched the line to the Hamburg bridge, asking for the skipper and reported, “Captain, Ens Korbel is standing by for order. The boys wanted to know if you’ll send them again to support the Chuikov.” He carefully selected his words and continued, “Sir, I suggest sending out two of us aid Chuikov. One unit should provide protection to the Hamburg at all times.”

The pink Dias screamed in at an alarming rate and shoulder-slammed Ryo's Marasai. The powerful impact caused Ryo's next three-shot burst to sail out into open space.

"...YOU AS*HOLE!" Ryo head the last two words of Pink Lemonade's bellow through skin-talk as the mobile suits collided. Ryo grunted, thanking the linear seat technology for allowing him to remain conscious after such a blow, and immediately whipped his right arm around to jam the barrel into the enemy's head, point-blank.

Howling all the while, Ryo jammed the trigger. Moments later, Pan's saber found its mark and sank into the Marasai's torso. Although the saber hadn't been stabbed at cockpit-level, the angle of the thrust meant the saber incinerated the cockpit - and Ryo - anyway. Soon explosions rocked the suits torso as propellant ignited.

Ryo's beam rifle never fired into Pan's head, as the last three-shot burst had depleted what little remained of its energy. Ryo had been too hopped up on the adrenalin and panic of the moment to notice the HUD warning about it and had probably died thinking he'd taken his enemy with him.

-

Wolf had turned away from Fritz, but would never have been stupid enough not to keep an eye on him. Even still, it was Sven's vulcan shots and spoken warning (even if Minovsky interference thoroughly garbled the words) that prompted Wolf to turn and face the traitor just as he attempted a blindside.

As he turned, Wolf swerved back and left to evade Ashlyn's beams, but still caught them - thanks to a slight miscalculation on his part - along the right side of the torso. Several cockpit monitors blinked out, preventing Wolf from noticing Ryo's demise. One of Julian's pestering shots from the side snapped off the Marasai's head antenna.

Beta Team's leader knew that Echo's MS forces must have been suffering fatigue from the damage and fuel/ammo expenditure. Beta Team, certainly, would have to withdraw. It was only a small window in which to kill Fritz, but Wolf could take it without getting carried away. If he failed to kill the traitor here, he'd have to accept that and let the bastard die later.

With that, Wolf fired off the flare signaling Echo's suit forces to fall back. In the same motion, he advanced toward the blue Dias and fired.

Picard howled with satisfaction as Mello reciprocated the move to melee range.

"Think it's so easy just because you have a beam saber?" M-Hover was practically biting at his helmet's visor "I'm a Newtype, you idiot!"

When Mello came in for the stabbing swipe, Picard swung his heat hawk up to meet the beam blade. The weapons clashed violently, but predictably the beam saber proceeded to eat away at the heat hawk's physical form. M-Hover, however, acted quickly on the force of the blow, shoving with his right arm to deflect, as it were, off to Mello's right. With some vernier assistance, Picard swing his entire Hizack around his opponent. When the two mobile suits were positioned roughly perpendicular to each other, Picard took aim with and pulled the trigger on the beam rifle in his left hand, completing a complicated maneuver that occurred in perhaps a second and left his heat hawk ruined.

-

Warren had finally regained control of his Hizack to see that Aaron, along with another Hizack that had since appeared (perhaps Lt. Kamek's?) were now contending with a mobile suit design Warren recognized from recent briefings as one of the AEUG's dangerous high-performance models.

Steeling himself, commanding himself to pack it in and move, Warren hit his thrusters and took the right arc Elijah had probably expected Aaron to take. With his Hizack's left forearm ruined, Warren had to fire his machine gun one-handed, which he did right then in a five-round burst at Jacob's Rick Dias. Firing one-handed meant the rounds spread out from each other more, but even still the greenhorn struggled to maintain some modicum of control on the bursts.

- Herakles Team -

In a blur, they were gone. Constantine's missile shots from out of nowhere had fended off the attacking Nemo. For a brief moment, Cara let herself believe it was over, even though her team was still in an active battlefield with hostile forces on the move.

Allowing that moment of respite was enough for the reality of what had happened to rear its head and make Cara gag. When Kyle's retreat order just barely made it over the Minovsky, Cara gasped out a "Yessir." She pulled up her helmet's visor reflexively and took measured breaths, then carefully moved her Hizack to fall in line with the rest of the team in returning to the Herakles.

Jacob's shots finally find their mark. One of the bazooka shells strikes the Hizack right in the head, the contact detonator going off perfectly. Exploding gas and hurtling shrapnel make short work of the head, leaving only a mangled ruin.

The beams from his pistol walk a line up the left side of the Hizack's body, one lancing through the torso, threatening the cockpit but mercifully missing it. It does, however, ruin a vernier and a few more cameras, impairing Elijah's field of vision even when the auxiliary cameras kick in. The remaining one pierces the left arm just at the shoulder, weakening the appendage and almost slicing it off.

The young pilot doesn't have long to revel in the damage he's caused, however. Another Hizack approached, this one rattling off a burst of machine gun fire. If he was more experienced, Jacob might have stood and took the fire, knowing that there was almost no chance it could damage his suit. As it was, he didn't like getting shot.

He slammed on the thrusters, throwing himself up/forward so that the machine gun fire caught only the shin of his Rick Dias, a few shells deflecting off into the vastness of space. He rolled toward the new target, coming to face it full on. He empties his bazooka at the Hizack, firing the remaining three shells at Warren's mobile suit. It looks like things are about to get close and the bazooka isn't exactly a close combat weapon. Better to use up its ammo than waste it.
Yep...That's Texas in a nutshell. Why just say "f**k you" when you can put it on a flag?

A Hizack Custom sped across the width of the Kirov. Leandro had moved on without checking to see if Grace was following. Stukov and the Black Tiger were duking it out with a Rick Dias "above" the Kirov. Several shots from the second Dias sank into the ship's hull just as Leandro reached that side. Said Rick Dias was making a run for it.

"Hey man, you're not getting away so easy!"

Leandro zipped out from over the Kirov and fired "down" at Ian's mobile suit, then pulled an immediate barrel roll out of the way to discourage return fire.

-

The Dias' return fire went wide as Stukov unconsciously weaved around them. Nick, in his tiger-striped Marasai, was doing what he did best. Eager to see the AEUG pilot gored on a beam saber, Stukov fired to the Rick Dias' side to once again limit its movement.

Shin saw Gill's Barzam pull a sudden 180 and knew the enemy was behind. Without stopping to let conscious thought interfere, Shin cut his thrusters and used AMBAC to pull a forward roll while maintaining his flight path. Jack's beam still hit, scorching across his outer left thigh, but it was far less severe a hit than it would have been otherwise. Clute's bazooka round screamed past where Shin's suit's torso had been moments ago.

Shin initiated his thrusters again once he was facing Clute and Jack. "Sir," he said to Gilliarme, his voice placid, clear as his mind, "I can handle these two."

I don't need help. Not anymore, like the older years. I don't have to worry again.

Shin sped toward the AEUG suits.

Shin fired twice at Clute.

I won't let you worry anymore, either. Neither of you. What I need to do

-

Sam banked under Michiko's attack. Some kind of fate compels us to trust those who are dirty Knowing that Gill and Shin could engage the two mobile suits that had appeared from behind, Sam moved in to meet Michiko's aggressive advances. and when we're hurt by their lies we don't trust again

And what of it? Because experienced men take pride in breaking the naïve? They don't know how terrifying it is to be a woman.

Sam wasn't backing down from the collision. She readied a beam saber into her left hand for the clash that, barring her enemy bugging out, would be inevitable.

terrifying it is to believe you're the only one who has

The Barzam's vulcan pods chattered a short stream at the Rick Dias' face.

Learning that purity is a lie.

-Gilliarme-

It was clear as day that the AEUG were trying to have them in a Delta Formation --- the pun did not escape Gilliarme --- with Delta Team between them. Too bad formations meant little in the fluidity of space, just like her smile that makes you melt within, and a formation, of all things, wasn't going to stop Delta Team from doing what they did. When Shin told him that he could handle Clute, Gilliarme believed him --- wholeheartedly. This was not the Shin Yamamoto Gilliarme was worried about earlier, who was reckless to the point of seeking death, who behaved like a self-conscious rookie. Who didn't start out as one? Gill certainly did, back in the day.

But he's matured. Though wounded, he would move on. Though beaten, he would stick with them. He was Gilliarme Lasalle, of Delta Team --- He belonged to them, and belonged to Ellen. Neither Stukov, Te'litha, nor the AEUG could take that from him.

Beam Rifle in the right hand, a flicker of drawing the Beam Saber in the left, Gilliarme's Barzam moved into a dynamic left sideroll, twisting above Clute's explosive round, and gave his own retort towards Jack; Gilliarme fired three shots from differing angles as his Barzam moved upwards left, downwards left, twisted forward, and moved right --- he was giving Clute and Jack his own 'Delta Formation' --- firing shots at Jack's Rick Dias' left arm, rear binders, and head cockpit just as Jack's follow-up explosive shot came at him. Gill's response was to slide backwards and right into a short roll, firing the Barzam's vulcans at the same time; The explosive round exploded short of its goal, nicking his Barzam's left shoulder with the trail end of the explosion.

But now Gilliarme's Barzam was sliding towards Michiko's Rick Dias again, angling himself, readily preparing himself for the follow-up in the wake of Michiko's collision with Samantha --- when both were in range, Gilliarme suddenly lunged, struggling in his seat as his Barzam charged Michiko from her right flank, Beam Saber poised in a precise stab at the Rick Dias' head without accidentally damaging Sam's Barzam in turn.

-Curren-

Another pincer attack. The duo of Marasais had done this enough to warrant Wes' automatic sink-and-swim manuver. That is... sinking below the slash and manuvering away backwards from the tiger-striped unit just as Stukov's beams came flying by.

Giving his thrusters another tap, Curren increased the distance between the aggressors. He let loose a duo of beams at the units, knowing damn well that they were probably inaccurate.

Pan's Rick Dias ripped through the enemy like it was nothing, the sadistic pilot followed his stab by igniting his thrusters and slashing upwards tearing the mobile suit in half. The propellant scorched Pan's suit, but it wasn't damaging enough. A small alarm rung out but quickly silenced as the external temperatures of the Rick Dias quickly cooled down in the void of space.

Pan grunted his adrenaline soaring right now as he caught the sight of a nearby flare. He squinted due to the brightness, but was able distinguish the rest of his unit. The flare was most likely a retreat signal. These people were not going to get away. Heyden would not allow it. This squadron had gotten away too many times personal vendettas aside. Pan would kill these men.

Heyden let out a roar as he rocketed forwards as soon as he hit his only pistol's range he locked on and fired...but WAIT!?!? In a sick twist of fate the pistol had backfired and exploded. The Rick Dias computer sensed something was wrong faster then any human could hope to react and the gun was ejected from the hand exploded rather exotically.

The Pilot swore loudly as his exploding pistol had announced his position.

- Outside Side 2 -

- The Hamburg -
- Bridge -

The large communications screen that was suspended up above the main bank of windows displayed a fuzzy image of Ltjg. Emington’s Nemo where it hung in space ahead of the ship. “Captain, Ens. Korbel is standing by for order. The boys wanted to know if you’ll send them again to support the Chuikov… Sir, I suggest sending out two of us aid Chuikov. One unit should provide protection to the Hamburg at all times,” the team CO said, his voice mangled and warped by interference but clear enough to understand because of the short distance. Capt. Loweno took another look at the screens that indicated the 4th Squadron’s position and then gave a small nod of approval.

“Tell Ens. Izuruha to stay with us,” he ordered, “And be prepared to fall back quickly,”. In his estimation the ship was currently safe enough where it was near the New Yark to let the least experienced member of the ship’s team (well, living member) stay behind as a guard. Bernard’s current personal troubles were entirely unknown to him. After closing the connection to Emington’s MS, Loweno leaned over the arm of his chair in Lt. Stalvern’s direction and said nonchalantly with a hint of a smile, “Have the boys load up another spread of missiles. We’re going to lay down a nice barrage when we leave,”.

- New Yark Team -

Mello was close enough to get a clear bit of Kamek‘s bluster when the rest of his team arrived on the scene. "Think it's so easy just because you have a beam saber?“ Picard raved, “I'm a Newtype, you idiot!". One of Lt. Mello’s eyebrows shot up. A Newtype? “Doesn‘t that mean you‘re on the wrong side?” he grumbled cynically. The Hizack deflected his stab away and Mello gritted his teeth as his enemy used his thrusters to move around him before he could properly follow up. Glowing bits of Kamek’s wrecked heat hawk streamed past Mello’s forward vision as he realized what his opponent intended to do. “Back off, freak!” he commanded through clenched teeth.

He swung his left arm out, what was left of his poor battered shield leading the way, in an attempt to throw off Kamek’s aim and avoid dying spectacularly. The Nemo’s elbow struck the Hizack’s wrist, and the angle of the shield made the beam rifle slide outwards just as it fired. Coming up from behind the lieutenant was the trio of other MS from the New Yark, and Sophie had to go into a dive to avoid the off-target shot. “Disengaging and withdrawing, hoo!” Sumitani ‘reported in’ once they were close enough for any real communication. Mello took what little opportunity he had to accelerate forward and get away from Kamek’s machine. “Thibaut is with you?” Mello asked, breathing a quick sigh of relief that his wingman had managed to find friendly units and survive. He moved closer to his team and flipped to an open channel. “Hey, Newtype! You had trouble fending me off when I was alone. Want to try out your magic on four of us?” he taunted.

He reached out and grabbed Ramon’s shoulder to initiate skin talk. “Ramon, let’s get back to the ship. I’m about to run out of fuel,” he said, sorry to let Picard go without a conclusion to their fight. Sumitani spread the word to the two others through hand signals and interpretive dance, and they were soon rocketing in the direction of the New Yark in a loose formation with Sophie (and her beam rifle) in the lead.

- The Chuikov -
- Bridge -

Capt. Dombrowski’s loud orders and admonishments had grown less frequent and more clipped and to the point as the battle had worn on around his ship. While the helmsman had successfully turned the Chuikov around to stay in line with the rest of the fleet, he knew they wouldn’t be out of danger until they had left Side 2 far behind them. “I swear I’ll never come back to this d*mned place,” Dombrowski muttered to himself as he removed his hat to mop sweat from his brow. The ship rumbled as another explosion blossomed in space near the hull.

“Where is our team? Once we’re out of this mess we’re going to need cover while we withdraw!” he bellowed, pointing at the comm officer. The man at the comm station gulped and turned to the radar man, who sat up straighter in his seat and answered, “Sir, the observers saw a Nemo destroyed close to the ship that they think is one of our team. We can’t confirm it,”. Dombrowski’s mouth tightened into a thin line. “Helm, get us out of this. Gunners, prepare to resume our barrage once we’re clear of friendly mobile suits,”.

- Clute & Jack -

Clute knew there was no way he and Jack could keep the Titans boxed in with only three units, especially if the three of them couldn’t properly communicate. To compound his troubles, he still didn’t have a clear idea of what these new Titan mobile suits could do--

He could feel his pulse quicken and the pounding in his temples intensified. Something tickled the back of his mind, just at the edge of his awareness. He slid his Rick Dias to his left, almost before he even saw Shin’s incoming beams at all. The shots passed him by, and he was getting ready to return fire when he saw another one of the blue MS spin around and double back to attack Jack. He blinked, mesmerized for a brief moment at the maneuvers the enemy pilot put the Barzam through as he unleashed a wall of fire all aimed at Jack. At least he’d have a decent description of the new suit for when he got back to the ship. “Get outta here with that!” he grunted, shaking the cobwebs. He fired another round at Shin to keep him at a decent distance while he put his suit into a turn that would let him come in at Delta from closer to Michiko.

Jack, who had the best (worst?) seat in the house to see what Gilliarme could do in a Barzam, began to sweat as he tracked his enemy’s movements and struggled to stay out of the way of his shots. The first beam was clearly aimed at his torso, and Jack accelerated and moved to his left to keep Gilliarme roughly in front of him. It missed, but the second was close behind, and Jack only had time to put his Dias into a short roll and drop ‘down’. The beam scorched across the top of his Rick Dias’ right shoulder, blowing through the pistol and its mount and melting across the right binder. The pistol was destroyed in a small explosion, and Jack reached over and ejected the binder without waiting to see how severe the damage was.

It flopped wildly off the suit’s back and out into space behind him before its weakened armor gave way and the propellant inside it exploded. Dealing with the binder combined with his own quick recovery move ensured that the last beam missed entirely like the first had. Jack frowned as sweat began to trickle into his eyes, and his grip tightened on the controls. Gill had turned away and his focus was now on Michiko. “I’ve still got my rifle, you punk. And you just presented you back to a hungry animal!” Jack growled as he leveled his beam rifle and took careful aim as best he could as he rapidly closed the distance between himself and the Barzam. He fired once at Gilliarme, figuring it was his last decent chance at a mid-range attack before he was on top of the enemies near Michiko.

- Michiko -

With half of Team 3 in the vicinity to back her up, Michiko’s confidence had been bolstered enough to make her think about her situation rationally. Fritz was no doubt fighting Wolf, probably somewhere close, but the other two suits from Team 3 and the rest of Teams 1 and 2 were also out there. She didn’t have long to consider things outside of her control, because Samantha was determined to strike a killing blow and it didn’t look like she was going to back down. Michi drew her own beam saber, igniting it and speeding up into a charge reminiscent of the position Rick Doms used to use - open hand out ahead of the suit with the saber trailing slightly behind the body. In this case, it was an attempt to protect her suit’s head from incoming vulcan fire.

She noticed the enemy was using its beam saber left-handed, so she turned slightly to strike and parry the blade out from her suit’s body. Just as she was nearing a point of no return, her angle of approach allowed her to notice the rapidly incoming Gilliarme, whose beam saber was pointed directly at her head. Michiko broke off her attack with a cry of surprise, cutting to Sam’s left like the losing party in a game of chicken to avoid a nearly certain death. One Barzam rushed by her, and another above. Behind Gill she spotted the flash of a beam rifle and instinctively threw her suit into another evasive, deactivating her beam saber as she rolled into a dive that took her further away from Sam and Gilliarme. From her new position, she turned her suit around and pulled a beam pistol off its rack so she could renew her fight against Samantha if she was pursued.

- MacAlpin & Fritz -

Fritz got his wish as he watched Wolf fire off a flare and then turn to face him again. Ritter was nicked by one of his shots, and seemingly caught in a brief crossfire from somewhere to their left before he changed direction and fired again. The huge beam roared in at Fritz, who slowed down momentarily to angle into a sharp ascent. It passed below him, lighting up the lower half of his sphere of monitors again. “This ends here…” Fritz rumbled hoarsely as they continued to speed towards one another. Just as he raised his weapon for another try at Ritter, another Rick Dias blazed in from Ritter’s right side and blocked ruined his chance.

“Wer zum Teufel…?” Fritz growled as Jim MacAlpin rushed in at Wolf, beam saber at the ready. “I’m here, Fritz! You’re saved!” Jim announced sarcastically, most of his cheerful swagger back to normal levels. He eagerly moved forward and took a wide swipe at Wolf, hoping to disarm him at the least. That beam launcher had been annoying for the entire battle. “Stay away from him! You’re in the way!” Fritz yelled, his anger rising back up. MacAlpin may have arrived to help his CO, but he was needlessly putting himself in danger and keeping Fritz from finishing off Wolf. Fritz’ propellant was running dangerously low, and he didn’t have the time to wait for Jim to realize he didn’t have a chance.

-Underneath Kirov-

Having avoided Cowboy's shots, Jason continues to pry himself from the Kirov's underbelly and starts to fiddle on the console to work on the Marasai's damaged right foot attempting to stabilize it and get some mobility back, at best match the left foot's output.
Soon his sensors pick up an enemy nearby. Amid the alarms Jason brings his rifle up. From what he can tell the bogey is on the Kirov's topside but unable to pinpoint it's exact line of travel. A familiar voice fills the cockpit. "...what..I do to help?"

..super..

"I got a bogey approaching fast. Get your butt down here." Jason barks.

Jason sticks close to the Kirov.

Hopefully his sensors will only pick up the Kirov and I'll be a total surprise if I can get the first shot off....is it me or have the Kirov's gunners fallen asleep.

-Eddie and Cowboy-

At least we're clear... Eckardy thought. Not that getting clear of the firing had made their situation any better. Ian and Wes were still fighting, they assumed, and were out of contact. As soon as they had the chance, Eckardy and Cowboy had taken a moment to relay what damage each had taken; Eckardy's left foot was gone, Marvin had lost his left binder, both has the tell-tale black streak marks of beams that had come all too close.

The loss of his Rick Dias Custom's left foot, while helpful as it had been in combat, was now proving to be a pain, as trying to hold the Dias on a straight course was becoming tricky. The AMBAC system was trying to account for it, but the suit was now unbalanced, and it was simply annoying to Eckardy. At least he knew that it was an easy thing for the mechanics to correct, they could get a new foot on the suit quickly enough.

It seemed like a lifetime while the flew along under the battle, before they spotted the distinctive Dervish. Angling upwards, Eckardy keyed his comm. "Dervish, Eddie and Cowboy are comin' home from below". Fearing that Minovsky Particles might screw with the message, Eddie repeated the message two more times.

===============================================

-Ian-

The warnings came fast as the beam came in at Ian. He rolled, with his foward momentum keeping him moving "downward" and fired a pair of shots from either pistol at what looked to be a Hizack, knowing they would miss the enemy mobile suit But at least they'll hit the ship..., he thought to himself.

Inspite of his roll and moving, the beam was fired simply too close to totally avoid. It burned close enough to the right arm to turn the entire thing black. More cockpit alarms went off, quickly informing Greydon that the arm could not move, and was now stuck facing foward. The beam pistol would work, but aiming it would be a problem.

There was a dark flash to his right side and Ian was suddenly underneath the Alexandria. The reddish-orange Marasai could not have been more obvious against the darker hull of the enemy ship. Pilot instinct kicked in again, and Ian fired a trio of shots from either pistol, again knowing that, should the shots miss the Marasai (And with the way the right arm was, those shots certainly would), they'd still hit the enemy ship. Already going as fast as he could, Ian started to bounce around again to make himself a more difficult target, and kept his left arm (And it's beam pistol) pointed towards the underside of the enemy ship.

After constant messages trying to find his team, Patrick finally gets a response from Jason asking him to help. "Uh...Roger Sir" he remarked as he turned towards the Kirov and boosted his Marasai down towards the belly of the ship.

"Okey dokey Jason, I'm over here now" he said into the commline while looking for his companion.

Emington saw the Captain gave a small nod through his screen before relayed his order. “Tell Ens. Izuruha to stay with us, and be prepared to fall back quickly.”

“Roger. I’m putting Ens. Izuruha under the bridge’s command.” A pause before he decided there’s nothing to add. “Emington, out.”

A quick glimpse to the console assured Randy that his team were ready, without further wait he gave his order. “The Captain just agreed. Alfred you’re with the Hamburg. You’ll do fine on your own, seek the bridge if anything happens. Bernard you’re with me, best speed to Chuikov.”

He checked the Nemo’s status one more time. Satisfy with the normal status he reoriented himself and adding more thrust to the engine. The engine hummed slightly while the Nemo accelerating into her top speed, producing a generous amount the blue streak of flares in her thrusters. Randy already estimated before that the two fleets should cross each other and he believes that it should happen any minute now. He just hopes that the boys with the new MS could wreak some havoc on the Alexandria and give the fleet some advantage.

The scanner already alerted him and new dotes appeared on his scanner. MS and a few of them are close. He observed that some are leaving from the scene, clearly the first wave of Titans is returning after their initial attack on the Chuikov. His unit is still a way to go but he saw a single Nemo (Caroline) on her own to Chuikov. Randy decided to give assistance, at least to make sure that her back is safe. He adjusted his MS direction and began his approach.

The enemy mobile suit appeared just off from where Jason was predicting. Hoping the right foot would hold, all he could do from being hit was to kick off hard from the Kirov. Two shots went by low hitting the Kirov instead but the third went through the right foot tearing the bottom part of it. Infuriating Jason who was proud of his quick patch up work.

"I JUST FIXED THAT FOOT, YOU @*&$-ER!"

Awkwardly trying to keep the Marasai moving, Jason responded by returning 4 shots to the strange mobile suit's largest part - its midsection.

Again Patrick's voice clamored through."Okey dokey Jason. I'm here now"

"well isn't that nice. %@*&. Now shoot this @*&#-ER!!" Jason bellowed.

Overhearing the captain's response, Bernard does a final check to all systems before heading toward battle once again. For the moment he appears to be in the right mind set but flashes of previous OYW battles enter his mind. "....Bernard you’re with me, best speed to Chuikov.”

"roger." Bernard replied.

En route to the Chuikov Bernard opened a comm to his C.O.

"Once we're in range lets get in contact with her Nemos. They probably need a time-out. Since the Chuikov will be last out, we can all provide escort till it's out of this mess..." Bernard's eyes are steered away toward a smaller screen on the monitor. A blip on the monitor brings up a lone Nemo drifting closer to the Chuikov. Boosting his sensors as far as they can go reveal other information. Reopening the comm, Bernard informs Emington.

"Sir, Elements of Team One still appear to be fighting off some Titans around the Chuikov. That lone Nemo is drifting toward a world of hurt if it's spotted."

Bernard grins wickedly. "Time to put those feddies in their place."

Patrick Miller
Under the Kirov

"well isn't that nice. %@*&. Now shoot this @*&#-ER!!" Jason yelled into the Commline. "Yes sir. Firing away." Patrick replied as his Marasai's verniers carried him closer to his partner and the enemy. Fulfilling the order to shoot at the enemy, he fired is beam rifle four times, and also unleashed a large volley of ineffective vulcan fire.

(OOC: Edited paragraph spacing)

- Near Salamis-Kai Class Chuikov –
- Beta Team –

Sweat rolled down Sven’s brow, he could taste the salt as it passed by his mouth. He had survived A Baoa Qu yet this fight seemed all the more chaotic, with the mass production of beam weapons, the battlefield quickly had become a more dangerous place. The chunk of metal blown into his Marasai’s neck had thrown his aim off on the Vulcan’s which had easily missed their target. They had served though to punctuate his warning to Wolf.

Sven’s Marasai was still below Wolf and the other enemy suits but he was rapidly ascending. Gazing upwards Wolf’s Marasai was suddenly engulfed in enemy fire, but being expert pilot that he was negated the brunt of the attack. A quick succession of lights drew Sven’s eyes to his left; there the Third member of Beta Team was fending off the oddly colored Dias.

The next scene played out in slow motion, as the Dias with the odd color scheme sliced its way through Rays Marasai and ended the pilot’s life whom Sven had never met. Following through the exploding Marasai the oddly colored Dias was no longer a chuckling matter. It was in that moment that Sven suddenly had a realization that he might not live to support the destiny and that this pixie colored abomination would end him without even blinking. Thankfully its beam pistol exploded, Sven might be without ranged weapons, but the Dias was short one as well.

Sven missed the retreat flare being fired as he kept one eye on the Dias, but he noticed its residue of light as his other eye was drawn back upwards my more flashes of light, Wolf was moving upwards to engage the Blue Dias. Beta team certainly had bad luck, two aces and pot shots from numerous enemy units had wreaked the team. And, it looked liked their luck was continuing to bottom out the enemy Dias from earlier rushed in to attack Wolf. Either Wolf was letting him close with him or hardly noticed him.

Putting his remaining fuel into one small course correction, a smile crept across Sven’s sweat stained face even as t thought flashed in his head, a daring move that he had encountered only earlier in a situation just like this. If Wolf is letting him get close, if that's the case, Ill apologize later, I need to repay this AEUG inkind. He sped upwards on the right side of the Dias, still holding his saber from earlier he ignited it and gripped in his only operational hand. His beam caught The Dias’s beam from the inside stopping it from damaging Wolf. Satisfaction rolled over Sven, as he followed up the move by using his momentum to bring his left knee into the Dias’s Chest.

He had heard the pilot say his name aloud earlier through skin talk. It had been a rookie move of Sven, one of many he had made in this battle. The resent of giving his name to the enemy still burned in him, giving way to a taunt which he threw in over the local communication channel.

“Let’s say the favor has been repaid, AEUG.”
