I don't know how qualified I am to comment on other people's works, but I'll throw in my few cents.
Not bad! Style wise, there are a few things you might want to work on...
On the first two recolors - Your paint areas have some jaggies around the black lines. I'm not familiar with paint.net, or what functionality it has. If it functions similar to photoshop, you might try selecting a color area and color shifting rather than dropping paint.
Alternately, you could lift out the outline and turn it into a multiply layer rather than a normal layer. Both of these techniques will help get rid of the white dots all around your lines.
The second recolor looks pretty good, and pretty straightforward.
Congrats on posting! These kinds of linearts are pretty easy to work with, and a good place to start. When you feel pretty comfortable with these, try recoloring a less sharply defined lineart, like the mecha profiles from MAHQ. Those can get much more challenging to properly recolor, and will really help you expand your skills. Good luck!

He didn't actually franken that monstrosity, he only recolored it.
That said, it's not bad. There are a few details that irk me though: notice how several patches are still green, like that shine spot on the right arm? If you can learn how to fix those, you'll be able to do alright.

Actually, Strike Zero was referring to this one. I put in a few arrows pointing at the spots he was referring to... This is just another color to select using whatever "Color Replace" tool you're using. Something I do when I finish an image is to zoom out to 100%, then zoom in deep to see if there are any blotchy spots like these. They're pretty easy to take care of, you just have to catch them

If you're going to recolor other peoples' works, you should at least credit them in your posts.
That having been said, the quality of your recolors improves as you make more. My only complaint (that hasn't been said already) is that you seem to make the lineart rougher that the original version.

GN fan anyone ?
i was inspired by this post
Meteoid wrote: I doubt that beam sabers could be used in that gas, they wouldn't hold together, so you'd just have a hilt spraying out GN particles till it ran out.
The solution...glue a giant fan to the front of the 00.
or should that be a GN Fan?
here it is lol
