Not to the point where I couldn't see any parts that weren't from the Leopard there. That looks like a recolor and not a true franken. If I can be proven wrong, then it's fine, otherwise that doesn't count as a valid entry in my book.

Indeed...you are correct, i just compared his picture to the original leopard from Mark's site and nothing is different...so it's pretty much a recolor.

all contestants are required to use parts from at least two green mechs in their design.

Do ace colors count, or does it have to use green as the standard colors?

As long as it's a canon color scheme for that mech, ace colors count.

Ok, I didn't get much sleep so I hope this question makes sense.

What about a mech that is a variant of a standard mobile suit (which is green) but said variant has not yet been seen in the standard (green) colors?

For example, the High Mobility Zaku is a variant of the ZakuII (which is green) but the MS-06-R1 does not have a green (standard color) lineart.

Acceptable or not?

For a different mech, I would likely say no. However, this Zaku you want comes in Black Tri-Stars colors, which have green, so it's okay.

Oh, and believe it or not, I'm actually working on something for this contest... I know most of the stuff I've posted here has stunk, but I've been quietly experimenting with various image manipulation programs for months now, and I think it's time to give a contest a go.

Of course, what I'm doing is such an obvious concept I'll probably be beaten to the punch by someone faster, but I'll get over it.

EDIT: I have a terrible feeling I'm about to find out it's a franken I saved rather than an official Gundam (I occasionally forget to tag them, especially if I'm pulling from a Japanese site), but is the Epsilon here "green"? I want its arms. Or rather, I don't want its arms, but I don't want the arms of any other green mech, and so its arms will have to do. If it's green. If it isn't, I'm in deep trouble.

But seriosuly, this was totally accidental, i was talking over with heretic about modifying his Double Zero design, and i started susing some of his aprts etc then i noticed i had used 2 green mech's parts so i decided to enter this.

Green parts:
Astray Green Frame-Torso
GINN High Maneuver Type-Thrusters

The green parts are the Astray Green Frame arms, and the Huckebein 009 legs.

Throne Vier "Shellbuster" Gundam

Green parts: Chaos Gundam (side skirt armor), Gundam Dynames (shoulder armor, GN full shield)

Everything, except color manipulation, and the purple GN drive (it's copypasta from the source) done on MSPaint.

If you haven’t guessed, the idea was taken from the Gundam Virtue. MACS stands for something along the lines of Mega-Assault Combat System. I haven’t exactly figured out what MACS stands for.
