New gals art.

Heya guys

Im new here so I just thought I would post a selection of the artwork I have done over the years, its mainly from roleplay games ive played in.

http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b290/ ... /char1.jpg

This is Ray Katsuki and he is the big villain from a pen and paper Gundam SEED game I ran. I mean whats a gundam game without a masked baddie :P

http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b290/ ... /char2.jpg

This was a character my housemate at the time was playing, he is a gundam seed “druggie”

One of my favourite mecha ever! What ever else comes out patlabor remains a favourite of mine.

This was to be a custom mecha for my character in a forum rpg, never got to use it. Lol good thing too not my best pic.

Just a standard astray ^^ you will also note on some of the pics incorrect part identification. Lol that’s my BF for you he tries tho ^^

This is my faveourite character I ever played or used in roleplay, He started off life as my version of Roy Fokker in the pen and paper SEED game and just kinda became my online character. Im a massive fan of characters like Roy and Mwu.

This was the moebius unit used by Bronan in many a scrape till and ungrateful Zaku had a word!

Hope you like em guys if you got any request let me know!

(Just so you know im actually a girl, just I didnt want to put that in as ive had bad experiences in the past on forums but you guys rock! !)

Wow, I really like the way you color and shade your mechs. Though I don't like seed/destiny but your art is pretty clear and nice. Keep it up.

Not bad. I really like your characters a lot, their faces are very reminiscent of Macross and other assorted memories of old-school Anime.

I think your mecha could use a bit of work though. They aren't bad or anything, but they seem rather spiky where it shouldn't be, and skewed in ways that defy perspective, which is most apparent in the Altern and Astray drawings. They are also lacking a bit in detail, which is noticeable since it's placed in comparison with the official lineart.

To be fair though, you're posing the mecha dynamically. You could either try using simpler and easier poses, or you could try doing studies of individual mecha bodyparts, sketches of actual models, as to get a feel for how they should look under those circumstances. If you have no model kits to practice with, the next best thing would be to study actual inanimate objects, such as furniture, household objects, buildings, etc..

The former would sound like cheating, but it actually does help. Well, it worked for me. Either way, it'll help refine your ability to place mechanical and inanimate objects in perspective.

I rather like your Astray. Not a lot of grunts get fanart.
