A.r.'s origami thread!

Well, I got the okay and I'm making a thread to post mah' origami! Not all of it is anime related, though much is. Let's get things rolling with some Pokemon!

My Pokemon team

Nine of my Mews

And now, for the Utensil of the Gods!

I shall post more later. Right now, I'm working on making a basic origami doll tutorial, if anyone is interested.

It falls under the Fanart in "Mecha Design and Fanart".

Yeah......but I thought the word "Mecha" in "Mecha Design and Fanart" was an adjective used to describe both the design AND the fanart...

Nope. Fanart just means Fanart.

The man in charge said the origami could go here, so it's here.

That being said, she does have some mecha-related origamis that she hasn't posted links to.

Also, I like her Mew origamis.

My Simple Hissing Cockroaches enjoying a carrot. This model won me second place in the Origami Forum's May contest.

A doll of Lex, one of my original fiction characters.

And finally, Ghinius doll. He's one of my oldest dolls (I made him about four years ago). I have since remade his boots, pants, and sash out of origami paper, though I still need to remake his tunic if I can find some paint pens.

Naw, can't really eat anything out of it. Too flimsy, plus it's make out of foil backed paper.

Hate to reply to a thread twice in a row, but I have a few bits of news. I'll be having an Artist's Alley table at AWA for the second year in a row this September. I've already posted a detailed description of what changes I've made and the prices of everything on 4chan's /po/ (the papercraft and origami board). If anyone wants me to repost it here, I'll be more than happy to :D One of the more notable new things I've added is the Pokemon Trainer's Special, which you can read a detailed description of here. My table should also look much nicer this year, as I plan to cover the shoe boxes that contain most of the origami in thin, colored paper, no to mention have typed labels for everything and much better advertising for doll commissions. Does anyone here planning to attend AWA have any interest in my stuff, or have suggestions on what particular types of origami models you'd like to see? I'd love to hear those!

Shamelessly bumping my own thread with my rendition of Kawasaki's fox!

As well as Kasahara's Adam and Eve!

WARNING: The second link may or may not be considered worksafe, depending on if you consider anatomically correct origami worksafe. By my standards, it's no worse than a painting with nudity, but I just though I should warn you guys
