Silent Knight Gundam's Factory
Hum, the Valkyrie seems to have manipulator arms, just those heavy guns? If that is its tactical role, then I don't see why not, but don't the Macross-style mechs usually have arms/hands as well?

The Valks had hands while most of the Destroids just had guns.
Putting a Destroid's guns on a Valk is a pretty novel idea, though I wonder just how different the Vulcan Valk would be from a normal Valk in terms of effectiveness.

Although not my greatest work, I believe that the Vulcan Valkyrie is effective against small targets or other mecha like missiles and regults but is only able to carryout aggressive missions that don't require any manipulators. But you gotta admit, you would want to pilot one of these guys just because of the giant automatic cannons. You can't give out anymore free Bright-like punches but You can fill them up with ALOT of hot lead.Draco Starcloud wrote:The Valks had hands while most of the Destroids just had guns.

Sure, sure. As I said, if its role is to smash everything and let those with manipulator arms come and pick up the pieces, then I think those cannons fulfill their role quite nicely. Thanks also to Draco for refreshing my mind when I thought the guns looked out of place but not completely foreign.

I like the tribute type the best. Dark grey and forest greens don't appeal to me.

Personally, I think it would look better without the missile launchers on the legs.

I don't think the launchers mesh well with the rest of the suit.

After i fixed the Legs on the GM 5 Custom i was surfing through youtube and then unknowingly listened to Basara's song and i got hooked on macross again..... So here we go the VF-24Z, VF-24ZS, AND THE VF-24 Basara's custom.
VF-24Z Ex-Zeta

VF-24 Ex-Zeta Custom

I was planning to make it my contest design but it wasn't that creative enough in my eyes so I just dumped it into my thread. NOW LISTEN TO HIS SONG MARK 2!!!!!
Edit: Fixed for eye justice. Again.

Ok from Gundam to super robot wars to gundam/SRW to getters to battleships to Macross back to Gundam to Macross/Gundam and now to PATLABOR and PATLABOR/Gundam. I haven't found a favourite series/unit type yet but so far in SRW terms Real type robots all the way.
AV-99 Gaigram
A Law enforcement anti-labor crime patrol labor unit specifically made ony for high ranking officiers that include the cheif of police to be used specifically for emergencies or ceremonial events. The Gaigram once given to the pilot can be recolored into their personal colors for recognition of their district.
weapons: 59mm Hyper revolver cannon, anti-labor stun stick, 90mm riot cannon.

ARL-100 Hellrider
A experimental Airborne unit used for high speed assault and clearing out landing zones for the rest of the Helldiver units to arrive safely on the ground. Salvaged from a berserked HAL X-10 the legs provide a low altitude hovering at high mobility and versatility makes it a formidable foe.
Weapons: 40mm rapid-firing machinegun, smoke discharger x 6

Can't go wrong with Patlabor, Gundam, and Macross now can we? Based off of the Bawoo I present the Gaiwoo.....I messed up the numbers so the number i write down here is the right one.
AMX-123 Gaiwoo
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v662/ ... Gaiwoo.jpg
AMX-123 Gaiwoo Emerald Rose Custom
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v662/ ... Custom.jpg
Both are equipted with a beam rifle, 2 beam sabers and a beam sheild but cannot transform like it's first cousins the Bawoo.
