you know...it's been wacky these last couple of years. Divorced, remarried, new son (fatherhood is awesome, btw) and i'm in the middle of getting a startup home efficiency company off the ground as a co-owner. in short, I am a man for whom time is a luxury.

I've been working on writing a story, however. It is a sci-fi epic steeped in the look and feel of medieval europe. "Is there any mecha in it?" you ask. well duh. Of course. Everyone worships giant idols of their clan or nations particular war-god. Then one of them winds up being more than an idol. oooooOOOOOOOooooo. I'm such a friggin dork.

In any case, I miss you guys. I need to visit here more often.

A Zaku I franken? From deathpony? Get outta here!

Nothing special, just a lightly modded Zaku I, OYW style. I haven't even attempted to franken in well over a year so I thought i'd just start small.

The crotch piece kind of looks out of place and I'm not too sure where you were going with the colors but at least you're making frankens again. I like the glow effect you added, if anything it really makes the suit stand out.

Still seems a bit out of place, being more angular than the rest of the zaku's design style; Other than that I think the shoulder armor works better. The purple on green sort of reminds me of Mardi Gras.

well i don't exactly agree with the crotch comment since there are almost as many angular parts to the zaku i as there are roundy parts, but no biggie. in any case...whatcha think of this update?

i guess its a front-line barrack-buster kind of mobile suit. I've got it equipped with a twin-barreled mega particle cannon, a beam rifle (w/ rechargeable e-cap), a .50 cal self-tracking anti-personnel cannon (mounted on chest) and a beam zweihänder.
