Story: The Federation and Side Three came to a truce after the assassination of the entire Zabi Clan (Mineva included, which was considered a war crime to some) and the discovery of corruption within the Federation and Colonial governments After a quasi official witch hunt for these "bad apples", diplomatic talks were persued between the now unstable Earth Sphere, and the equally unstable side governments. The result of the talks founded the Earth Sphere Democratic Federation, a union of the earth, and all sides in a democratic republic state.

Acting similarly to the republics of ancient Greece and Rome, the Colonies now became self governing in a sense, and as a stipulation to the charter, had to lend assistance (if able) to other sides ravaged in the war and troops to a peacekeeping para-military force, known simply under the acronym ESDFPW for Earth Sphere Democratic Federation Peacekeeping Wing.

To offset the shortage of MS and funds found as a result of the One Year War, the design bureaus for Zeonic, Zimmad, and the Federation, banded together along with a fledgling Anaheim Electronics to form a brain trust collective known as Monomic Industries.

The Gelgoog II or Hi-Gelg was the crowning achievement of this collective, introducing many new technologies including a Panoramic view cockpit, linear seats, and moveable frame technology.

The resulting unit was cheap to build, field, and repair, making it popular with many peacekeeping pilots and tech crews. It has been used in several incursions with Zabi Loyalists, piracy groups, colonial revolutionaries, and former Federal dissidents. In all these incursions, it has proven to be a formidable unit, and plans are currently under way to bring command and recon versions of this suit into existence.

Very nice looking, but I have to ask if it was inspired by that Turn A GM that showed up in the Random Image Thread earlier in the week, because that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the Jidai Nea.

Actually, I didn't even see that image until just now. It's more or less inspired..by boredom and making stuff up as I go along. I'm kinda meh on the whole thing, and may rehash it later.

I dunno..

Wooo, go sprites, anyway, do you make larger size ones? roughly 80x80 pixels? I don't mind. But could i request a GM sprite?

I do only small scale ones, 30x30 starting sizes, but I can blow them up to larger sizes (Max about 80x80 to avoid distortion).. Any GM in particular? I mean, I do specialized sprites like MSVs or uncommon MS sprites using Encirobot Sprites as a base.

I hate doing recolors too, because I'd rather stretch my creative muscles on some designs, which is why I'm asking for a particular design or design motif.

Any universe is fair game too, people. I want a challenge since my Franken designs are starting to go bust.

You can get that off of the Encirobot site. No need to request a custom one.

EDIT: Hey, TBZ, did you notice that Encirobot's 3D-ish sprites for Z-MSV include both the MP and Prototype Psycos?

Yes, I knew about the sprite versions; there aren't icon versions of the MP and Proto Psychos though, so I made those via franken/hand drawing in icon form.

And as Ascension pointed out, there are many different icons of rare MS, but what I want to do is take on ideas of custom MS or MS ideas that aren't off of the MAHQ database or the Encirobot website.

Essentially, you have an Idea for your own Gundam/Zaku/GM/MS franken variant, and want to see it as one of those little Icons, I can do it for ya. I can also blow them up to 80 x 80 form for Avatar use.

Note, I am just starting out on this, as I learn the ins and outs of making these I could move on to more advanced sprite making...

Ah i see...then i'll change my request then just to make it a little more challenging for you. I'd actually like one of my frankens in sprite form...Maybe my Salvage Gundam? If that one is too complicated then you can just have a crack at my Hero Gundam =D

The 80x80 actually came out good, as far as an artsy fartsy look.

In that case, could you make an 80 x 80 version of this thing? You would become my temporary official hero if you do.
