Assault Gundam's Mech hanger (recolors are my main thing)

(this first post was originally frankens but they were all crap so I got rid of them)

Well. Do to lack of inspiration to make new frankens, I have started to recolor. I was never that great but now I am much better. I hope You think they are good.all my recolors will be put here.

P.S: please tell me anything that can help me with the recoloring and/or frankening

P.S#2: all the frankens on this topic right now were all made a while ago so don't tell me to improve because of those

Impressive design. Oh, and a word of warning: reduce the size of your avatar, or the Mods will hound you until you do. Just a warning. Good work on the design, though it could use some refining.

The design seems fine but isnt it alittle on the light side in terms of weight? i mean suits usually alteast have a weight in the double digits (unless your talking about empty weight), this thing does not only have alot of thrusters, but i believe this is probably the lightest MS out there (though could be wrong).

He has a very good point. For comparison purposes, an F-14 with a length of almost 19 meters, clean, and nowhere as solidly built or as massive as a mobile suit, already weighs 17 tons. An Abrams tank, which for our purposes could be treated as an 8m x 3.6m x 3m armoured box, weighs more than 60 tons.

It's true that AC MS have single-digit tonnage, but the AC universe isn't exactly noted for being a stickler to physics and scientific accuracy...

The only AC tonnage i see on the site is the Empty Weight, not the actual Weight, i believe somewhere in the Colleseum someone stated that Wing Zero Custom had an actual weight of 20 or so.

That still seems pretty light. I always imagined that a mobile suit's weight would be roughly comparable to a present day tank.

The original one with Wing Zero in the sky was bigger than 80x80 pixels. If you have an avatar bigger than said size, the Mods will hound you until you change it. But, like I said, your design was excellent. Just needs some fine tuning, and it'll be a formidable unit.

*MOD EDIT* That's enough schooling. We appreciate the help, but there are enough moderators to go around to do this kind of work. Leave this kind of business to us, okay? 8) ~LG

I finaly made a franken gundam. Do not laugh for all I have is clumsy MS Paint.

http://s187.photobucket.com/albums/x294 ... uetank.jpg
name:ZGMF/1X00 bucue tank
manufacturer: PLANTS
fuction: long range support
height: 18 meters
weight: 70 tons
pilot: ZAFT soldier
acompanyment: 1 Pilot in paniramic cocpit in torso
fixed armament: Rail cannons;mounted on sholders. machime guns; mounted on hands.
optonal armament: none

created as a less expenxive version of the BuCUE, the bucue tank uses long range artilirary over speed. It had never met mass-production do to it's late entry into the war. It was assinged to elite squads.

its a funny picture, but i think you can reduce the pic size so there isn't a giant white void of blankness to the bottom and right of the bucue tank

The basic Dagger X looks very good. The image looks great and I didn't see any problems with it. The Nuclear Dagger X looks alright, but I think the extra weapons take away from the design, and they could use a little more work on them. The Dagger X with the armor looks alright, although the armor on the left leg is a bit off and the waist is a bit rough as well. Also, the blue and yellow seem... odd... and look a bit out of place. Other than that, it looks alright...

I like the Dagger X Fortrestra best. I've been interested in seeing what a Dagger with a Fortrestra Shroud looks like.
