MS-14
One of the Early models presented to Zeon high command. It sported heavier and powerful 3100kg under-skirt rocket thrusters than later A-model. Beam rifle was still in development so it used MMP-80 rifle and H&L-GB05R/360mm giant bazooka as it´s main armaments, 8 were build.

MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon
Zeon´s very own fleet-killer mobile suit, armed with fearsome RA-2 beam cannon on its shoulder and backback of B-type Hi-mobility Gelgoog it proved to be a fearsome opponent.
This particular unit was piloted by 1st. lieutenant Ossie Jackson of 2nd Ms platoon,16th corps, who usually carried Zmp-50 rifle and shield with his Gelgoog, painted in black on dark green camouflage. Recognisable of Yellow rim on shield. Destroyed during retreat at A Bao A Qu. Pilot survived and moved to pilot Gelgoog Cannon II at Zeon remnant forces

MS-14C2 Gelgoog Cannon II
Modified Gelgoog B-type. Armed with 220mm Artillery cannon, mounted over shoulder at hi-mobility packback. Uses improvised rangefinding and sensors for cannon. Also has 3 missile pod mounted at leg and smokelauncher mounted at shoulder.
Was built and used during after-war guerilla operations and Delaz uprising. Found abandoned 06.10.0084 at Side 5 shoal zone, apparently cannon malfunctioned and teared itself and hi-mobility packback off.

MS-14G Gelgoog ground type
One of the few Gelgoogs that were deployed to Zeon´s Earth forces. This unit number 16, from Zeon Africa corps 1st brigade, 3rd MS platoon was piloted by Master chief Killian Pollock.
This unit is painted in custom desert camouflage, dirt brown tigerstripe at sand yellow. Armed with MMP-78 120mm rifle instead of basic beam rifle, and instead of compact ground-type shield it has original Gelgoog shield.
This unit saw combat at african front during OYW and after. It was even spotted at battlelines of African Liberation Front during the first Neo-Zeon war UC0088-0089.
http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/4365 ... lg7ri6.jpg
Master chief Killian Pollock
Born at side 2 UC 0059. His family moved to side 3 UC0075 and Killian joined Zeon military UC0077. First saw action during one week war and raids at Luna II. He was lousy MS pilot at space. Was transferred to Earth July 0079 and started quickly scoring kills at Middle east frontier. After war stayed for couple of years in Zeon remnant forces and during UC0085 defected to African Liberation Front

MS14-Jg Gelgoog Jäger "Flanker"
One of Gelgoog Jäger unit´s assembled at Side 3 just few days before the end of war. After war it was for couple of years dusting in military warehouse, but during UC 0082 it was taken back into active service in Republic of Zeon defence force. Flanker was used by one of Zeon republic forces best pilots after war LtJg. Willem Hendricks and mostly participated in public events doing all kinds of performances.
"Flanker" was painted in same color scheme as SU-27 Flanker during middle ages.

One of the behemoths developed late war for Zeon elite strike teams such as Cyclops team. It has heavy boost- thrusters mounted in backpack and modified reactor, it has lighter armour and modified arms without forearm guns. Heavy jäger never saw action but it was to be assigned at shoal zone covert operations. Armaments include, beam saber, triple missile pods, and sturmfausts

MS-14 F Gelgoog Marine
MS14-F Gelgoog marine unit 89, completed 26th Dec. 0079 at A Baoa Qu production line. Unit was given to LTJG Janus Bobrikoff. Marine unit 89 was assigned with its pilot to 32nd Combat battalion, 2nd regiment of Zeonic Marine corps. Unit 89 survived from A Baoa Qu and its pilot scored atleast 8 kills against Federation forces. Unit participated in guerilla warfare against Federation forces during next years and finally unit 89 and its pilot went MIA year UC0083 during operation Stardust with 49 confirmed MS kills and one confirmed Salamis-class.
Unit is painted in custom Blue&Grey partial camo, while its shield has kept it´s original colors.

MS-14 F Gelgoog Marines
After OYW. Many former Zeon pilots had no jobs or means to live, so they acquired mobile suits and started business as mercenaries, smugglers, or security contractors. These two units belong to Ramon Hermes and Viktor Januveld who after war started business as mercenary duo. Both are painted in Stone Grey with dark grey tigerstripes and black torso. Ramon unit has shield painted in grey with one week war campaign marking and tigerhead in it.
Ramon unit is equipped with sturmfausts, MMP-80 and shield, while Viktor-unit is equipped with custom assembled 120mm belt-fed machinegun built from Gelgoog jäger beam machinegun and MMP-78 mechanism.

Anyway, those Gelgoogs, while in some cases a bit unplausable, are
extremely well done and look outstanding in everycase. Keep up the great work!

I join the chorus of praises. A real mega-update of MS, and most of them are excellent, not to mention bonus points for pilots and backstory. Solid!

Thank you all for chorus of praises (sounds elite!) and criticism
I really noticed when I started this its really hard to think anything special when you have to just stay in one MS and it kind of limits your choices. Also the fact that it feels that UC is already milked dry (thats why I´ve been doing more of this CE stuff than UC)
Enough of whining! Let´s see some more frankendung:
GAT-X105Fb Full Vernian Strike Gundam
(what a shameless ripoff!)
Developed from 105E Strike E-frame, Full-Vernian Strike mounted huge boost on manouverability and speed thanks to it´s newly developed leg component addon and Kamylov MkII Pulse booster pods. Unit served as stepstone to next era fast intercept mobile suit models.
And here is some bonus:
As Yuusha Tokkyu Might Gaine asked in
this thread for Strike Freedom in these colours, I feel somewhat obligated to also post my version of SF in those colours as I am the one who did that Freedom recolouring and I still have PSD. - files left in folder
So,HERE is ZettoGiiEmEf Ex-20 Sutoraiku Fureedomu in blue&white colours

It almost looks a bit Titanesque, which, I suppose, might fit future PLANT just as well. The Asimov engines though, if they are nuclear, does the Impluse MkII still run on battery power? Does the Harpy pack include something more than the engines (and possibly them beam assault rifle)? The other weapons seem to integrated to the MkII... But I do have to say that I like the idea that this is CE tech level in CE80, especially since given the speed of tech advances in CE you could've had anything from the Death Star to "fricking sharks with fricking laser-beams attached to their heads".

Impulse MkII is upgraded with hyper deuterion nuclear reactor (almost similar to destiny but more compact) to give it longer active time.
So, no it does not run with battery anymore.
Harpy silhouette pack is just a binder-controlled booster-pack for MkII, as MkII main armaments (Rifle, sabers) do not anymore need silhouette packs to power them. But MkII can use and still uses older silhouette packs and can even use some of wizard-packs. And unlike in Impulse, MkII does not change it´s color when it changes packs.
Probably going to post MkII with other silhouette packs soon.
EDIT: Silhouette pack versions (with nice recolouring)

Sword
Blast

While I must say it's a very good design, it's definitely not your best. It just doesn't have that "greatness" feel to it like some of your other designs do. It feels a bit "rushed" for some reason, and mostly the entire head of the design doesn't feel right.
Nonetheless, as usual, another great franken by a grand frankener.

I admit it was a bit rushed, and head looks bit awkward.
I´ve been trying to keep my frankens focused on this CE late 70´s / early 80´s era nd know that there are many great possibilities in which way the technologies will move on and new designs, but I just cant think anything special for now. Maybe I should keep little time off from frankening, but I cant (im addicted!)
Maybe I should do some UC?

"Small" update!
I was at the toilet earlier today, and thought about awesome idea!
Hamilton-class supercarrier EAFS-87 Parris Island
After lessons learned from second EAF/ZAFT war, Earth Alliance started their own Heavy MS carrier project. Orb had their Takemikazuchi-class mobile carrier and ZAFT has Gondwana-class carriers, EAF designers started their work during summer CE 75 to develop "Mobile carrier capable of operating in space as command center of battlegroup". Hamilton-class carriers were put together from Agamemnon-class battleships, that were already being put out of service (As EAF forces started moving only to use Nelson-class battlecruisers) First Hamilton-class carrier was ready to combat September CE 79.
It houses 32 mobile suits and 24 Anti-MS or support space fighters (Cosmograspers) capable of launching from 4 linear catapults and 6 ordinary catapults.

Good work as always, Huhtis. Nice touch with showing the mobile suit elevator and MS on the flight deck. This ship is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

I agree with ZGMF-X28A Nu-Liberty about showing detail and some idea of scale given the MS on the deck (the MS seem a bit too big though, but maybe that's just me). The number of MS it carries according to your specs though seems very apt.
Looks stylish, although it does bring into mind a carrier on the high seas converted into space use. I don't think the Gondwana classifies as a ship class just yet, but it would be plausible for the feddies to start pushing out carriers since they have been shown to rely on numbers anyway.

I was not sure about what size the MS would be compared to this ship, so I just rescaled mah Windams till they looked nice.Antares wrote:I agree with ZGMF-X28A Nu-Liberty about showing detail and some idea of scale given the MS on the deck (the MS seem a bit too big though, but maybe that's just me). And about quantity of MS onboard, Im not that good with numbers so I just tried to think of number that would be enough but not overkill. Maybe there would fit more MS

I think they look very nice, I'm just nitpicking. And as I said, 30-40 MS seems plausible for a large carrier of that sort. After all, you need maintenance spaces, room for tha catapults, not to mention crew quarters. So I think your estimation is plausible.

Just a little bump.
Tried to franken some Okawara lineart, it´s good as long as you use parts from his linearts, only thing I used from different designer was Hi-Nu knees, GM command waist and Strike shoulders.
So after some random modifications here it is...
