Yeah Yeah, I've been away for a while, doing real life stuff and having fun. While nearly everyone will consider this defacing city property, I am quite proud of it~

the wall at which I did it was very textured/jagged... at the angle that I had to capture a picture at, the extrusions of rock distort the face, plus for spray paint, and going by the head of my HGUC... yeah, you get the idea~
For the titans logo, I could use a stencil I made for t-shirts~

One of my friends, upon finishing watching my Zeta boxset, wanted to paint Yazan Gable on one of our water towers. We talked him out of it, but now I don't have any cool pictures to share.Blauer Nebel wrote:Totally aweome. Makes me want to go out and "deface" some city property too.
Nice work on the bridge, though, lalahsghost!

Okay, I was debating on putting this here or not, but I'll be an exhibitionist, and say the legendary 4chan saying:
Is this /m/?
Gotta love The Venture Brothers!
*EDIT* OMFG!!! Doc Hammer Wants one of my prints once they are completed!

We had to do an Intaglio print on plexiglas, etching it with a weird tool that looked and felt like a really long nail.
Our theme for inspiration was landscapes... WOW. LANDSCAPES :O (yawn)
I decided to spice it up! Why not throw a zaku into the mix, and have it pimped out!
This is a famous scene (screenshot) from 0080's first episode. We all know the story here.
It took about six hours to carve out the lines by hand onto the etching plate, then about an hour to make EACH print. Not only that, the paper cost me $4 USD a sheet!!! (22" x 30") Boy oh boy, this was actually really difficult to do, since it was the first time I had done something like this, and I kinda fell asleep while the teacher was demonstrating it to us.
Each print is 12"x11", roughtly, and the image itself is 8.25"x6.15" I might sell some of these to offset the price of the tools that I had to buy. I'll link my junk guild post if I do.
Well, after all of that ranting and raving, here is my image.

haha, both of those things were on my mind. I slipped on the second or third curve stroke for his head, and it made it wonky.Ascension wrote:Hey, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing uses an Intaglio process! You're officially equipped to counterfeit now!
Seriously, though, it looks good... even if Al's head is a little big...
I was debating on zooming in on a dollar bill and doing an intaglio process. :O I could make dollar bills with Gihren's face on them? *evil thoughts*

Decided to upload this to dA also...

This thing was about five times harder to make, than how ugly it is. I'm ashamed of it, but it's z'gok, so I can't be ashamed~

Like it states, I only have 200 beads of each color, and I didn't have enough white to fill it in, and barely enough blue for the borders, hell I don't even have a real red.

It was fun though! Really fun. A great way to unwind and do something unproductive instead of computering.
