I usually draw smoke and explosions by drawing lots and lots of circles overlapping each other, and then erasing the center of the shape formed, leaving the outline and maybe a few curves in the middle to give it 3-D-ness. It would either come out perfect or a piece of (EDIT:What I can't say), depending on how good you are.

Would it be a good idea to just animate that and then have it rise grow and be able to connect to the previous instance of that smoke?

VD_053.jpgis it just a repetative animation? Any ideas on how to make it flow and fill the screen without being too big a file *gasp* Someone actually looked at the screenshot gallery!! I only know jack ZOINKS about programming, but do you have access to any tools that can use fractal geometry? You might be able to model the smoke as self similar circles that grow from each other's edges. That sounds a bit sophisticated though. =( By the way, ydawg, do you think you might want to participate in the art contest we're hosting? You seem pretty handy with your artwork, so we'd be honored to have you. =o

What i decided to do is Ill animate a small cloud and then make coulds that grow off each others. I really dont know too much about fractals but ill look it up and see if it will work and not slow down the game too much. But Ill definitly start sketching something out

I know this has been asked many times..... Does any one know where I can get mobile suit sounds for my game preferably gundam seed?
im looking for a good mechanical movement sound which will play any time a pose is struck such as a sword swing or a punch or a jump etc.
