Hey there, Mechatalk! Its been awhile. Mostly due to unstable internet connection and fluctuating interests in different sites, I haven't been here in almost a year or two. Looking at my old posts is kind of embarrassing, lol. I've kept in contact with a few people from here on other sites, in fact, they're pretty close friends in my opinion, but I digress.
I've grown a bit so I want to return to Mechatalk and post my art and stuffs here again, as well as partake in the random discussions once more. For those of you who remember me, hello again, and to the newer people, nice to meet you.
Now let's post some art!
First, two Arm Slaves.Zy-98M Shadow MM9E Gernsback Melissa Mao CustomI did these to stretch my mecha capabilities a bit and do something that doesn't conform to the typical Mobile Suit design. They're curvier and sleeker I think. I really had fun with them, but maybe I made the legs too long. Long running problem of mine.
Mobile Suits!Gundam AGE-1This one was another attempt to stretch my abilities a bit and make the AGE-1 a bit more unique. didn't quite finish because I wasn't sure what to do with the rest of the design. The head was my favorite to draw.
G-SAVIOUR Space ModeI haven't really watched the movie yet, but I actually kinda really like the G-SAVIOUR. It's different, and deserves a bit more love. I also love the color scheme and bare arms in the design.
Unnamed Gundam-Type This Gundam was really fun, I used the Strike, the Nu, and the Nirvash RA272, as inspiration. The strike comes through in the basic design with the torso and shoulders, and the Nu was supposed to have been the inspiration for the large one sided binder on the mechas left side (which isn't very visible because I hadn't finished it) as well as the different arm designs for each side. And the whole design concept was supposed to an LFO/IFO Type Gundam, which is where the Nirvash comes in. The one sided binder could unfold into the Ref Board and the bubbly kinda crystal areas primarily in the legs and chest were from Eureka Seven AO's heavy use of neon in the mecha. Imagine they glow neon green like in the anime. And speaking of the legs, they were the most fun for me to draw, and I really liked the way they came out. Again, however, I didn't quite finish this because I wasn't sure how I'd go about the finalization.
Non Gundam stuff!Eva Unit 2 doodle!Felt like drawing something moving for once, haha.
SPARTAN-VI DoodleA bit of fan art after playing Halo 4. The weird helmets in 4 made me want to redo the helmets to a more traditional type.
Silica from SAOShe's adorable, I couldn't resist.
Eureka Seven AO Cast at the BeachRA272 Nirvash SurfDid these during the airing of E7: AO. The scene one was because I thought Elena and Fluer were hot, but yeah. The Nirvash was another practice for painting/ coloring.
And my last set is some MonHun stuff. The HuntressQueen of FireSome MonHun fan art. Really my best anime style works I've colored so far. They were so fun to draw.
MonHun comic main castKaname (my OC) final revisionYomiko (Kaname's sis) final revisionMy other love, besides mecha, would be Monster Hunter, and in them, would be my few Original characters sporting modified versions of the games armor sets. I just love drawing Yomiko, Kaname, and Emelie(Top left corner of main cast image) for some reason. And I have to thank CrashLegacy for giving me the final cast member, who's in the bottom right corner.
So that's it! I excluded some other stuff, but it's all on my DeviantArt. So yeah, glad to be back on MT.
