So, let's see I know for the longest time the only art I've ever posted in mecha, but I got a request form my friend who wanted me to design images for the weapons used in a fan fiction he was writing, sadly he never got around to publishing it but, these are the guns I maded for him.

I actually did a bit of a double-take there, thinking that you had just taken pics of real guns and wondered what the point of that was. ;)

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: I'M BRANCHING OUT PEOPLE!

As you guys have probably figured out from the innumerable amount of times I've redesigned my own redesigns I'm a picky bastard. As such I redesigned a redesign yet again.

Let me introduce you to yet another variation of my Azure Duel Assault Shroud.

And Aile Strike Mk II with a t'weak to the Aile Pack, and shield, with rifle.

Also everyone please look forward to my new UC Gundam designs coming soon to this thread eventually.

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: Never Satisfied.

We will be looking forward to it, I assure you. :)

I liked the redesigned Strike better. The legs are heavier but it still works. On the Duel, is that a Callidus cannon on its chest? Unless the Azure Duel has a massive battery, I wouldn't suggest using that cannon very often unless it's low-output (like the Sword Calamity's). I can't be bothered to browse back for the original Azure Duel specs if you mentioned it there already...

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: I'm at it again! Vote please!

Given that I just came out with a redesign of my redesign, this might seem odd to ask, but opinion poles for yet another redesign of my redesign. This is getting confusing. x.x Anyway, opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I like the shorter shoulders of the V02 personally. Makes it easier to mount striker packs too.

Likewise - I think the v02's shortened shoulders work better with the overall design than the v01's longer ones.

I think the Strike Burst V01's calling to me. I'm voting for it.

The shorter, solid shoulders of the V02 seem more practical, but the longer, sharper ones on the V01 seem more like something you'd see in the Cosmic Era.

Strike Burst V01 gets my vote. Ornamental shoulders or not, they just look better to me. :D

That's because they are something we saw in the Cosmic Era.

With that said, I think both the Strike Bursts look amazing. But personally(and it may be my own personal bias with regards the the above-linked unit talking) I prefer the V02, because the shorter shoulders bring to mind the design of the original GAT-X105 Strike.

Hmm, I'm thinking I like the V01 more, while I have a liking for slim mobile suits, having the wide shoulder armor sort of makes it balanced in my mind.

I'd recommend the second version if the arms were just a wee tad longer and out from the body just a bit more, though that's just my taste. This kind of design doesn't really need pointed shoulders.

It's not really a subject that's normally touched upon, but anyone with common sense fighting a mobile suit would aim for the legs rather than draw out the battle with flashy techniques. Leg armor is something of a must if you don't want to eat the dirt as soon as you deploy.
