Re: Ep 030: Brave & The Sprawl Trilogy
As per my promise on the air, here is a link to the retail page for a plushie of Il Bambino from the Pixar Short La Luna . He's holding a little luma--- er, star, as well. Very cute, and the price isn't bad for a 12-inch tall plushie. Also in case you missed it, you can check out The Pixar Times for...

Re: What books are you reading?
I recently read The Whip which is about Charley Parkhurst, a Wells Fargo stagecoach driver in the Old West (mid 1800s). It's based on facts and I'm surprised I'd never heard of Charley - she dressed as a man and moved out to the West, killed an infamous bandit, etc etc. Total bad-ass status. The boo...

Re: Iron Man 3
Back to Iron Man 3 , I'm pretty excited to know that Sir Ben Kinglsey will be a part of the cast (though I thought it'd be hysterical if he were cast as M.O.D.O.K., but now fans and iMDB are pretty convinced he'll be Mandarin , which is also fine). I know his announcement is kind of old news, but I ...

Re: What books are you reading?
Currently in the middle of American Gods, by Neil Gaiman. (My first Gaiman experience. Can I have my Nerd License back now? :) ) I want to read Jim Butcher's Codex Alara series, but my library didn't have the first book when I went, which is how I ended up with Gaiman. I love the Dresden Files! Act...

Re: Ep. 027: The Films of Pixar
@hotlimit - The only reason Antz came up in the first place is because it came out around the same time as Bug's Life , which in my case caused confusion. Chris went on to explain how and why this happened, but we didn't sit and discuss it further because in the end, Antz isn't a Pixar film and this...

For those who want to learn more about The Good Dinosaur and the two other future (untitled) Pixar films which were briefly mentioned at the end of the main segment, here's a good overview/place to start.

Re: Topic Submission Thread
If it's going to be The Avengers, might as well include Iron Man 1-2, Thor, Incredible Hulk, Captain America. XDMu La Flaga wrote:Not sure if you guys have it planned or not.
Your doing one on Nolan's Batman entries.
So would it be too much to ask for a cinema spotlight on the Avengers maybe?
